They actually installed my unit 4 years ago, but I had to call them for a maintenance issue, which occurred over Labor Day weekend. Justin called me back and walked me through how to get the a/c running until they can come out during non emergency hours. I spoke with Karen who is delightful and Gideon arrived today to take care of the issue, which was no fault of theirs (I’m just an irresponsible homeowner 😬) Everyone I encountered with this company from 4 years ago, and even still today, are extremely kind and professional.

Recently, I contracted with Harrington Air Conditioning to install a new condenser/compressor unit and air handler in my home. Suffice it to say, this is a very expensive project, and a significant factor influencing the value of my home. So, I was quite nervous about moving forward with this project.First, every time I had contact with Harrington - from my initial phone call to the final inspection - the employees were incredibly polite and courteous. To make an accurate assessment of the type of system needed and its specifications, Barry Creasy conducted a time-consuming, thorough inspection of my home. Then, he provided me with a detailed quote, listing three different options. Throughout the process, Barry was responsive and patient, neither pushy nor aggressive, helping earn my trust.The two workers who did the actual installation were extremely polite and professional, addressing all of my questions, concerns and requests. These are people you can trust in your home. They worked very hard and I appreciate them very much.In addition to the installation, there was a long-standing, vexing air-flow issue that needed to be corrected (as air was not properly flowing into my large living room and master bedroom, located towards the back of the home). Harrington addressed this issue, at no additional cost, which included moving two A/C ducts and vents that were incorrectly positioned during initial installation by a previous company. Harrington even patched a large hole in the upper-wall of my garage (per the attached picture), which I did not expect, but certainly appreciate.Perhaps most important, Harrington did not require any payment, not even a modest down-payment, until the work was completed and I was completely satisfied. This is highly unusual, especially for such a pricey project.To close, during the 25 years I have owned my home in N.E. St. Petersburg, numerous companies have worked on my A/C unit. Be assured, Harrington is the absolute best. From Harrington, you can expect top quality work, a high level of integrity and responsiveness from skilled professionals, no pressure and competitive pricing. Overall, I am thrilled with the excellent work Harrington did for me, and strongly recommend this company.

When it was time to replace my old AC I obtained 5 quotes from different vendors. Unlike others when Barry from Harrington met with me he did a thorough inspection and gave me a detailed report. Also, based on my research on the recommended AC I went with them.The installation crew were very professional and completed the work on a timely manner. Harrington also followed up with me for release of the permit and inspection after the install.Overall I have been very happy in dealing with them, theyre pros at what they do.

We had Harrington install our first unit 21 years ago. They have done all the annual checks on the unit. We just had a new unit installed by them. They came out quickly to put a new motor in the air handler to keep us cool temporarily. Two weeks later, new unit was installed. Great job! They are professional and treat customers well. Harrington installed our unit some 5 years ago and conduct annual preventive maintenance. They have been responsive to all our needs. Last night A capacitor went out and this morning, Jack from Harrington replaced the part and had the unit back up and running perfectly. What to do when your A/C compressor shuts down on a rainy Friday afternoon...CALL Harrington.Jeff the highly skilled technician came to the rescue. I needed a plug harness bundle that was not immediately available. Jeff was able to get us back online with some very skillful engineering. His talents kept us cool for another 10-days. The office staff was on their game and kept us up to date on the progress of the replacement bundle. Harrington will get all my future A/C business. Id leave 0 stars if possible! This company was referred by a friend who is currently building a new home on the north side of St.Pete. Were getting ready to start a remodel and addition and need a new system for the increase in size.The man sent out spent all of a minute with me and said that they dont do new construction. I told him I was referred by a friend doing new construction. He shrugged and that was it.My friend called them to see what the story was. They said they dont work with contractors they dont know ( he never asked about our contractor) and then she said it wasnt because I was a female or that I live on the south side! Are you kidding me! Obviously this company has issues. Stay clear!!

Harrington had installed my AC/Heating unit a year before I bought my house in 2000. I move in and the thermostat wasnt working, they were at my house within an hour, no charge. Now when it was time to be replaced I called to get a price on what it would cost to replace my old AC, Barry came to give me an estimate, I told him the fan was not working, he went over my house, came in and explained the estimate and told me, by the way turn on your air, he had taken the time and fixed the wires on my unit, somehow they had fallen down and got cut by the fan. When I turned the thermostat on the air came on! I asked him what I owed him, he said No Charge! The unit worked for another year! Which was great because I was dealing with an added expense of dealing with a parent of Alzheimer’s. It was so refreshing, to have someone, Barry, with such integrity, presented me with 3 prices and explained them all. I was not pressured. When I made my choice, the installation was set up and when the crew arrive they listen to my concerns -answered all my questions. They were wonderful from beginning to clean up and the tech that showed me how to run my thermostat- very kind and helpful also. In this day and age when you get a business that you can put all your trust in -go with it-thats why I highly recommend Harrington. Thats why I will always be a customer. Another thing I would like to add is even the ladies in the office are very courteous and helpful. Its nice doing business with such pleasant, honest and hard working people. What a great company. My 14 year old inside unit was dripping water. I called Harrington based upon recommendations from my neighbors. The first tech came out and spent 2 hours trying to fix the problem, but was not able to (Not for a lack of trying). The next day a senior tech came out and figured out a fix. We discussed the problem and decided to get a new system. My installation was scheduled 3 weeks out, but Harrington said they would come out any time at no charge until my new AC system was installed. The temporary fix held until my install.Not only did they do a fantastic job on installing my new AC system, But then when I inquired about getting a sound blanket for the outside compressor to reduce noise (My outside unit is right next to my deck) the offered to provide the sound blanket and installation at no charge. Everyone I dealt with at Harrington was friendly, knowledgeable and customer focused. I Highly recommend this class act company.

Our system was on its way out, I called several companies, Harrington was not the cheapest and they were not the most expensive. There sales staff were informative with no pressure. One thing I told all the companies I got prices from was that I didnt want day laborers, and they werent. The guys who did the installation were great. The tech who came in to program it seemed like he was looking for a tip, he didnt get one, he was only here for 10 min. Harrington also submitted warranty paperwork for me. I have nothing bad to say, you get what you pay for.

Good Price Great sevice up and running in no time

Our ac died (20 yrs old) and we were scheduled for a new install, they came out and did a temp fix on our old unit to last us until the new install date, for no charge. I dont think any other firm would have done that, I was SOOO thankful as it was during the hottest time of the year.

Came out quickly for emergency service on a blistering Saturday. Replaced a blown capacitor in minutes. Great technician, explained everything he was doing. Will use them again.
