Glad we went with Hinkles.We bought a house with an old oil furnace that was very inefficient. We decided to go with Natural Gas and put out a few quotes. Hinkles not only came back as the lowest bid, but was thorough on what was to be done, what they would do for us, and what was expected of us. They applied for all the permits and had our rebate forms filled out for PECO. While our boiler was being serviced, they hooked up a hot water heater at no charge. When the job was done, they made sure everything was clean and presentable. I should also note this was all done during the Coronavirus pandemic. We couldnt be happier with the end result. I would recommend Hinkles for any HVAC need.

I would give these guys 100 stars if I could. They installed a mini split ductless heat pump for us and we couldn’t be happier with it. The guys that installed it were knowledgeable, courteous, professional and super nice. The office staff followed through with scheduling when they said they would, and the price was less than half what a competitor quoted me. This is a smaller, family run business and I will call them in the future for all my heating and cooling needs and recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys!!

Called Hinkles on a Saturday, while it was snowing, about our heater not working. Left a message on their emergency number and received a call from Mike minutes later. He arrived in the snow within 30 minutes, found the problem, replaced the capacitor and igniter, made sure everything else was good and was done after about an hour. All around great, quick, and friendly service. This was the first time using Hinkles and we will definitely be using them for tune-ups and any other problems in the future.

Our air conditioning stopped working this week. I called Hinkles at 8 AM & Mike was here at noon. He discovered that bugs had gotten crushed in the compressor switch & stopped it from working. Someone with less integrity may have told us our compressor was shot & that we needed a new one. We have always gotten prompt, professional service from Hinkles. Would highly recommend them.

We had great experiences with Hinkles for many years. But now I cant get them to return phone calls or emails. I want to do business with them, but theyve made it impossible. Its so contrary to our previous experiences Im actually concerned for them.

This company has been extraordinary.2 1/2 years ago our heater broke in the middle of a snowstorm in January! Dennis came out within a couple of hours- on a Saturday during a snowstorm (1/7/17). He ordered the broken part and repaired it quickly.Now our air conditioner is broken during the heat wave. The people in this company have shown more patience, understanding, and accommodations than I can list.I highly recommend this company.

Mike was a great tech who came out to diagnose issues with our oil boiler. He identified the aquastat seemed to be causing the issue. He had the parts on the truck to fix it on the spot. He was polite, friendly, answered all of my questions and worked clean. Great service!

I rent a house in Spring City, and the landlord finally had the malfunctioning boiler replaced after two years of varying heat. When the plumber he uses,(Plotts ) installed the new boiler,the didnt install it properly by puttin wrong size pipe in header area. They placed 2 pipe (using old pipe from old boiler), where new boiler called for a 2 1/2 pipe. dennis came out and immediately saw issue and fixed problem. great people,prompt,knowledgeable, and well worth the proper repair. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Received evaluation on a dead compressor and told they would follow up with a quote. Paid for the bill and I have not heard anything back. Working with another company now.

Came home last night to the burner not firing. Spent 3 hours troubleshooting to try and fix it. No luck. But thought i found the issue. I didnt, but was close enough. Called hinkles at 830 saturday morning and left a message. Got a call back in less than 5 minuets, with a guarentee of a tech coming out in an hour. 9:15 tech shows up. I told hime everything i did already, and he took it frome there. Had it running in 10 minuets flat. He even showed me what they did in case the issue arrises again. Highly recommend Hinkles to anyone in their service area for professional fast reliable service. Thank you!

Hinkles has serviced and reparied my heater at my older house, every time they come there reliable and trustworthy they explain the repairs and there prices are fair.

Nice enough guy, but I was disappointed with the diagnosis, level of service, recommendations and fact that I was charged for a problem they didnt resolve.I have an 8-9 yr old Bosch tankless water heater that presented with an E4 error code and kept shutting off. Hinkles was one of four certified and recommended Bosch mechanics to address the problem.Hinkles didnt seem all that experienced with tankless water heaters, but serviced the unit by supposedly cleaning the coils and got it running again. Then he told me that tankless water heaters only have to be serviced every two years, they have a life span of 8-10 yrs, he was a fan of the old fashion, bulky water heaters and if I continued to have problems I should replace my unit. Two days later the heater stopped working and presented with additional error codes eg, E3 and others.I decided to call someone else recommended by Bosch. When I explained the problem and error codes he immediately surmised it was a heating rod problem and scuttled the notion that the heater had a life span of 8-10 yrs, said it should be double that and they should be serviced every 6-12 months.Needless to say he came out, took the unit apart, systematically identified and/or eliminated all the issues, identified the non-functioning part, special ordered it, returned in 48 hrs to install it; as well as properly clean the unit which had calcium deposits throughout the coils...service that you pay for and delivered the way it should be.Unlike Hinkles he was knowlegeable and relentless in his pursuit to get to the bottom of the issue, and resolve it. In the process he only cost me hundreds and saved me thousands by not heeding the advice of Hinkles. Needless to say which HVAC guy Ill be using in the future.Sorry for the negative rating, but I like to think positives can be taken from and improvements made due to the truth and abject candor.Happy Holidays!

Hinkle installed a split-air ductless system into several rooms in our home, which is older and without existing ductwork. Wow! First, we love the system. Its working great so far. Second, I wish we could find other contractors as thorough and professional as Hinkle. Communication was great. They were prompt, courteous, clean, and did a stand-up job. Will definitely use these guys again. Highly recommended.

Hinkle came to our rescue!We were having an awful time trying to find service for our central air conditioning unit. The first company didnt service our brand of system. The second service company was only interested in selling us an entirely new system. By the time we contacted Hinkle we were beginning to lose hope.I explained our situation to the office manager while scheduling our appointment and was surprised when the owner of the company personally followed up a few hours later to assure us that Hinkle would provide honest quality service.The technician arrived on time, was polite, professional and able to diagnose the problem in short order. He informed us of the service he would be performing, spent the time to answer all of our questions, and gave us an honest estimate.I was so impressed with the work performed that I am switching to Hinkle for our annual oil burner service and when we finally do need to have our central air replaced, will be looking to Hinkle first for that as well.Thank You Hinkle!
