This was my 2nd time in a week that I had to go there. Due to my own unavailability. Nevertheless I was greeted with a smile both times, and was treated with the utmost respect by TIM !!! This man was more than kind to me. He understood that I was on limited time and accommodated me. In these hard times kindness goes a long, long way. After my work was completed Tim asked me to call back and let them know how my truck was driving. Then he invited me to stop in just to say hello. Ryder will always have my business. Be careful with this place, the rental manager always tries to collect for damages that the truck had before your rent it. Especially try to abuse drivers who speak little english. THEY ARE NOT HONEST.

I drive for a national company that does business with ryder and get many trucks. However the service on black canyon location is horrible. We have to return numerous times to get problem fixed right and getting fuel is lost cause. Im setting here now waiting and I went to service desk and stated he would get someone out here right away, been 20 minutes. Figure they would not want to lose such a big acct. But they dont care here at black canyon. Go to any other location youd get better service as a driver. WOW!

I worked with a company that used writer as a third party for the truck since they were out of town we were here and we needed truck so we use them it took four times for me to tell the shop that there was something wrong with my truck and it needed to be fixed. And that last day they gave me another truck where the hydraulic lift wasnt working correctly and It came crashing down breaking the muscle in my thigh and cutting my foot almost in half. Im still to this day after 4 months not able to walk on my foot because its not healed. Be careful when you rent or work with Ryder dont sign any kind of liability form just go to another company at your best bet unless you want to get hurt you never know what can go wrong with one of their trucks especially with a mechanics pit like theres. and no Im not going to let them get away with it I wasnt the one who signed the disclosure I didnt know anything about it so I will be taking this to court and they will not be getting away with this. And if youre reading this you could throw up some good vibes or prayer for me in this battle that would be great.

Fast and easy to work with

My boss rented a truck from these guys and we jad a problem with the 5th wheel getting jammed. Caused me to be late delivering a load, switched to a day cab after 4+ hours at another location. Came back today to get back in the sleeper, tried to hook up, same problem with the 5th wheel. But hey, it is greased up pretty good and after all, they did pay for me uber ride...👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Yesterday afternoon we ran into quite a bind; Had a reservation with PENSKE for a 26ft climate control/ liftgate truck that WAS NEED AT 7:00AM THIS MORNING for a VERY VERY LARGE moving job we were doing with an art collector out of North Scottsdale. 30 mins After already confirming that PENSKE had a truck reserved for us we were then told they did not have a truck for us.... this was not a job we could just simply cancel or reschedule after calling Ryder; Kylie was on it SO QUICKLY. she was absolutely incredible. she informed us that unfortunately she did not have a truck for us but she went to work and hunted down all of them around the valley and did find one! ...after a lot of back and forth we ended up nabbing a 16ft at our easiest convenience.Kylie was really amazing. she was handling our emergency as well as answering other phone lines AND handling customers in person. she was extremely helpful and a great pleasure to talk to through this whole mess!
