Cox communication in general is ripping off the public and they don’t care how they do it. They know people are jumping ship and just going to the Internet we were paying up to $250 almost $260 a month and I just randomly called today to see about lowering my bill, and by some miracle I called on the perfect day they said because tomorrow my bill was gonna jump up another $120 wow just think how thankful I was no I really wasn’t. This is just one of their tactics to screw you over.If I had the money to hire a lawyer I would try and go after these people in a class action lawsuit because what they are doing is wrong.

For visitors, you may need to keep track of your name, and speak up for yourself when placed on their wait list to speak with a representative during a visit. The young lady at the check in station was not keeping track of who came in first, and it seemed the representatives are to follow the list on their computer screen. I am not sure if the list of visitors is organized based on priority type, or visitor order. I stopped by to discuss donating my purchased modem. There was a client that walked in after me who was complaining about how one of her remotes worked for her cable, and not the other. They put us on a waiting list, had me sit and had her sit after checking her in. She sees a representative that she may have worked with before, and begins yelling across the room about how she found it strange that one remote worked but not the other. The representative rather than checking his list of visitors goes up to her first then assists me. The employees all seem very kind, and helpful, but on this visit they were not following their client check-in list.

They know they basically have a monopoly in the area so they treat everyone pretty bad. If you opening your wallet to get service or upgrade sure they are nice as can be. Need a discount or cancel? They belittle and force you to wait forever. Will be going elsewhere.

Be warned the numerical list only tells you whom came in 1st. If you are canceling service and someone comes in for an upgrade. Upgrade gets served 1st. Thank you generation cox! Also if they offer to let you pay your final bill. You probably still have a balance.

Cox is committing fraud. I went in to get information on how to set up the emergency broadband benefit. They shooed me out of their store in a hurry. Told me I didnt qualify, even though I was approved via the government and had approval paperwork. When I insisted, they told me oh no, we dont do that. They took government funds but refuse to help their customers when required to by law, THIS IS FRAUD.

I had an amazing experience setting up service at this location. This was the first time I’ve ever set up service on my own and I had a rep named Kelsey Castillo, she was so patient and kind and knowledgeable. Made the process painless. It made me feel like I chose the right provider, honestly. I am super happy with my decision on Cox because of this kind rep, haven’t had issues sense! She was a great rep. I recommend asking for her anytime you stop by the store. She took her time with me gearing towards everything I wanted and needed! Very happy.

UPDATE:I originally posted a 5 star review as I was blown away by the accommodating service I received in-store. I posted too quickly, however, because once my bill came around, nothing promised to me was actually fulfilled. This turned into a complete time-consuming nightmare. I would avoid Cox, if possible. I will be terminating service as soon as my contract is complete.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I have been a long time Century Link customer. Recently made the switch to Cox. My husband called the Cox customer service line and we had quite the disappointing experience--service was lacking, for sure. Despite my initial impression, I stepped into this location and from the moment I walked in I was impressed.Quick and efficient wait system. Then, I was taken care of by Kelsey C. She was informative, kind, patient, and truly went above and beyond.(Five stars is for her awesome service, not necessarily Cox as a provider.)

I really loved this particular Cox Store. As soon as I walked in the door I was kindly greeted by an employee with a smile. He informed me of the process that they were using due to the Covid. And shortly after that my name was called and I was helped by another nice gentleman. I walked out of there with the item that I was going to have to wait to have delivered to my home by all other service providers. No long wait times and kindness from all employees was my experience with them. I will always go there from now on. Very satisfied with there service.

We had to go into a store because we were getting the run around on the phone with setting up a roommate style account. The store mgr and the guy we had help us were amazing. If we have any problems we will be going be here instead of calling in.

Good but unnecessary visit. Amanda was most helpful as was Dan. But I was there to turn in a new cable modem as part of my order for Cox VOIP phone. Turns out that if I turn in the equipment cox back office cancels my phone service that I need to get my two-services discount. They said to keep the modem but dont hook it up. Seems wasteful but whatever. They wont charge me rent for the cable modem.

I highly think this location(who knows of other locations) is trying to commit fraud. A couple weeks ago I walked to get internet service, Ashley Snyder was the rep who helped me. She was real nice, helpful, and friendly. I gave her my apartment lease documents because she said she needed them, she started new service for me and i went about my way. As soon as I drive away I get an email that service has been canceled, i was confused so I drove back talked to Ashley and she said it was Nothing to worry about. A few days before the technician is supposed to come i get a reminder email, I look at it and it has a different address- nowhere close to my apartment or my apartment #(super sketch). I call customer service tell them whats going on and even they found it odd how someone can get my information completely wrong when they had documentation right in front of them.. oh I forgot to mention that the manager was right behind Ashley looking over her shoulder at the screen right before she completed my account. Customer service said someone will contact me to follow up about the matter but still havent heard from them. And you would think someone would feel more comfortable being in person to prevent fraud over the phone but they do it right in front of your face, smh!! Overall I will never trust Cox again and if you are a new customer, be careful!

Tyler was SO helpful! I had been live chatting and calling Cox for days trying to start service and get the promotion that I saw online, and every representative I spoke to told me a different story. I came here ready to argue, and Tyler just told us plainly what each plan cost, didnt try to add features, and made getting the promotions so easy. Great service, I wish Id come straight here rather than dealing with online chats or phone calls!

Went to return equipment. There were four men standing around talking to each other. They were staff. Meanwhile, 6 customers were being waited on by just one other staffer. I asked the four men if they could take the equipment off my hands, they replied, no and continued talking. Left equipment on desk with my business card on top and desk. Never used them again.

Cox does not want to take care of their current customers and give good deals. Our price keeps going up while new customers get good packages. We have been loyal customers for 20 years and our cost each month is ridiculous. Yet brand new customers get great deals. Loyal customers are the bread and butter of anyones business. Cox should learn that lesson and take better care of them.

I want to do business with this company they have misinformed me and I have not made things right basically I’m paying $30 more a month then I was told I would be an absolutely nobody would do a thing about it nor give me contact information to do anything to remedy the situation. This store and Vincent was the worst customer service ever in my life did my mother and myself experience!! Not only have they been ripping my mom off for months but he made her cry saying she was talking too loud for him she cant help she is from New York and this is the way she talks!! Kept interrupting her and not giving her time to talk and explain what was going on saying that she has to pay for the services she was getting for free when that was not the issue, they were the ones changing my moms package without notice and charging her $161 for basic cable!! Not only that when we told them the mini box she has been paying for and not receiving any cable through it went in one ear and out the other!! Any time my mom would try and explain he was rudely interrupt her saying well you now have to pay up for the channels you are receiving for free!! Never have my mom been receiving free channels its always been basic cable and only since February 28th she started receiving new channels cause they just change it for my mom without any notice to her, she didnt even know til she got her $161 cable bill for basic cable!!! I hope Vincent feels very proud of himself for making an old woman cry and force her to pay for cable she didnt even want or know they were given to her!! Didnt know that you now have to start paying for their errors and doing completely unprofessional and uncalled for!! My mom has been a loyal customer for over 6 years and NEVER been late on a payment and this is the service she gets. They basically just ripped off the elderly and made sure she wasnt even treated like a person, a loyal customer!!! Im devastated for her that they made her cry over cable and offered 0 help. I been a customer for over 15 years and after the treatment my mom received I will be looking for a better company were they treat people with respect and not about ripping anyone off!!!

Very, very, busy.....not enough staff and customers not signing in trying to get ahead of others customers who sign in and are waiting there turn to be called.Line are long. Parking is full and inside is crowded. Oh! Make sure you wear a mask and no bathroom for the public or customers.

I have a 6 yr old w little patience and wasnt looking forward to a long wait, Ive experienced in the past at another location. To my surprise it was less than 15 mins from walking in the door. They had bottles of water and snacks for kiddos. Very nice seating area w nice music on. Very, very happy w our experience today. Jorge, was the rep who helped me, made it super simple and was very friendly. I highly recommend this location if you have any equipment problems/ exchanges. Very simple and pleasant. I needed to change out a defective Digital Modem for my home phone and the associate at this Cox Solution Store immediately called up my Cox account and gave me a Brand new unit. Service was very fast and professional. He also did explain how to hook it up, and if I needed some help which I didnt, I was to just call him direct at the store. Forced to exchange equipment (in person) after their outtage broke my modern... on my way back from a funeral no less. Once there, HORRIBLE wait times... That said, the gentleman across the desk saved the experience and me as a customer. He listened, reviewed the account, quickly replaced the equipment and made the experience easy for me. I didnt catch his name, but I hope this gets back to him. He turned a 1 star that I had drafted while waiting into a 4.

I went in to switch and upgrade my modem. I was greeted at the door by Caesar and he was extremely helpful and very personable and nice. It was a little busy at the time with probably 8-10 people ahead of me, but the wait time was not painful or unsatisfactory. Plus they upgraded my modem for only a couple dollars extra per month.

What a joke! I took a box in to replace it and the guy I was working with then deletes every box I still have connected so it completely shut off service to the house after I specifically told him that I wasnt hooking up any boxes because I am house sitting so I just spent over a hour on the phone with a technician to fix his mistakes. You would think that he would explain to me that this would happen but he never said a word. Thank you so much for the absolute no help.

Returned my cable box. You have to check in and have to wait 20 minutes to tell somebody else that you return the box. He, naturally, wants to know why. The answer that the service that Cox is providing is too expensive. He then wants to offer to cut the price down to almost half! Nice, but me thinks that I was overpaying the past 20 years!? No thanks. I have cut the (cable) cord.
