Its okay its a place where if you want to re-establish yourself and get back out there you can but you got to be serious about your life to make the change
This is a Tax-Write off & the money is wasted in not doing repairs for the bathrooms, the benches outside, & prob more places. Staff does NOT give a sh!t about people. Doesnt deserve a star.
Its like being in trouble in first grade when you unknowingly plug your phone in the area for wheelchair persons
Dont go there, part of CASS.
We all have a social responsibility to help the people served here be connected to services and supports they need.
They have vouchers for haircut/shave, DES office on-site, hygiene items available, and access to SMI services through CBI.
Very resourceful place for those in need.
Rude security
A necessity since Im homeless and unemployed.
As the name implies, there are many resources contained within. They have a DES office, Community Bridges and St Joseph the Worker. They also have special services for veterans. Community Bridges offers many programs and St Joseph the Worker will help you find a job including help with transportation to job interviews. This is a hidden gem!
I once was lost of words when i came to arizona to help out family. I came all the way from kauai hawaii and to put the streets n npt have anywhere to go was crazy but hope n pray i am able to survie
It was great as I got help from St Josephs the worker
The Lodestar post office is a great example of a well ran postal service.
Very helpful and resourceful when in the time of need. The air conditioning was a godsend in the extreme Arizona summer. They have toiletries, games, and musical instruments to take your mind off of your moment of displacement. The staff and security are patient and welcoming.
An amazing place where I volunteered downtown... with everything from housing connections to free toothbrushes and soap to a post office for the homeless to substance abuse counseling, computer skills training, and arts and crafts, it is actually a multitude of agencies for the homeless all in one place. And the people who work there are the most generous, compassionate I have met anywhere.
Wack
My doc Mary is just the best she listen to me she wants the best for me
Professional staff at the agencies, very care oriented.
It has been said however very true, there is literally very few places like this in Arizona and more so in the tri-state area for that matter, one just has to know how to treat it,avoid negative people, and how to act (build on yourself) you must do half the work yourself. ❤ Admirable staff, 1 out of 10 in general are doing it out of obligation, THE REST MORE THAN MAKE UP FOR IT,almost all shelter locations have one or two staff anyway like that. They have the keys to start foodstamps, I insurances, for working, a bible study, community bridges, counseling. Free with hugs. Use it what its meant for. Dont listen to negative hype and build. Great resources here. Namaste.
This place houses people who act like animals.watch your items closely thier are thieves here.
Blah
Eric is awesome. He can redirect me when I have my biggest challenges. Thx!💜
Eric is one of the nicest people you will meet at the LDRC building. On the Cass campus. Hes always got a smile on his face. Hes always helping me solve one thing or another. He really cares about all of us. And treats all like we are number 1. And for that I will say kudos to you Eric. I love you man. And all the other staff and volunteers. They are good too dont get me wrong. Everyone is kind. Unless you go off on them. Then they show you the other side. Haha. Well not everyone is mean. And grumpy. But we all have those in our midst. No matter how hard we try to stay away from the negative. It creeps its ugly head several times a day. And you just might get into a fight if you have a bad attitude towards everyone. Like your homeless is better then anyone elses. Haha. Well everyone learns. Kudos to you Eric my friend my family my confidant. 💯🎼
Quaint and clean. Always feels safe. My wife and daughters really enjoy it there.
I love this place because they are there to help you with everything you need in the job hunting and housing, counseling and also to help with court issues and parol packets for parolies .They are a big accent if you want to change things around in your life. Behavioral benefits also.
Large phone charging station in this area,,just requires a campus ID obtainable at the Brian Garcia Welcome Center works in an emergency,,,,food, water and advice are easy to come by......
Good place to get homeless information.

Very filthy. Smells like human excrement. Trash lines the streets around the place. Thieves in abundance and drugs. Fights frequently break out. Stay away!!!
Great place for the homeless population to beat the heat during the hot days of Summer.
Kinda hard to help people when you dont answer the phone!
Everything you need to assist in getting back on your feet. Housing, SMI evaluations. FREE: legal help, ID, drivers license, marriage certificate, social security card, birth certificate replacement. HOMELESS COURT. Fines can be paid thru community service. Warrants quashed. Post office. Employment services thru St Josephs the Worker. Computers available for job seeking. Free bus passes. Free Interview clothing. Hair cut vouchers, and free hygiene. Rest rooms and A/C. Resource desk. And CBI PATHWAYS available. Great place to achieve goals. Great work LDRC!
Has lots of great resources for people who need help in different areas of life!
Lots of people but staff is real nice.
So many services available of your willing to work with staff and keep appointments!!!
In a dire situation and cant contact them at all. No website, nobody picks up. No messages saying that perhaps they cant help after all because theyre all full up. Have tried contacting them on facebook, but dont really expect a reply. I know this is a NonProf org, but if youre going to get yourself handed out by the likes of the Mesa Housing authority, you need to do your level best to try and help, or else point people in another direction so that theyre not wasting time trying to get ahold of someone that isnt there to begin with. That time, and those phone minutes (depending on if you have limited talk (federal offered phones)) could be better spent actually helping someone find a living situation (like in our case) rather than being wasted attempting to get ahold of someone that isnt even there. Beggars cant be choosers, but those offering help have a responsibility to those they claim to help to be forthright and forthcoming about information up front. Even MesaCan states that funds are limited and its first come first serve. Nothing like that from this place. Nothing but an inbox full message when I try to call, and constant ringing when I dial an operator. Ive been trying for a week now, all different hours. That time could have been better spent trying to contact other agencies, but this was the best source according to MHA, and I figured, like the DES it was just a case of keep calling and hope you get through. Also, according to some of the reviews, someone might want to get authorities looking into this place, sub-human conditions? Abuse? Non-profit or not, thats unacceptable in all cases. If youre going to claim to help people, you NEED to do what you claim.
There are many resources here for the homeless and impoverished populations. Staffed with very helpful and caring people.
Good services for those needing assistance and wanting to better themselves
Ac,outlets, bottled water not a bad place in this hell hole named Arizona
I love Eric! He knows his recovery stuff!💜💎
Anything that is in association with CASS truly needs to be burnt to the ground I am speaking from experience of being racially profiled at CASS and the staff member lavel truly has betrayed his own race
I went to visit the facility where my daughter works.Lots of homeless people.
Very helpful and courteous staff, decent facilities
Situated next to CASS. It is an unsafe area that is littered with trash and a high police presence. Homeless strewn about.
There ok but they really do nothing to help you
The only good thing about the ldrc is St. Joseph the worker...idk about any other services...it always looks like some sort of disaster took place, and the only people that survived were either gross and sickly, or mentally ill....
I visited C.B.I. LODE STAR DAILY RESOURCE has needed services
Friendly staff eager to help you get back out into the workforce.
They have different resources to direct you to the right people to help you out
Well if you on the street and need some help, shower, food, blanket and some place to stay during the day.
Got services there that helped me find a job.
LDRC is THE place for assistance; the staff will get you an answer or hook you up with the person(s) that will help with homelessness issues. Just ASK!
Helpful people
Good place for being homeless shelter got back into a place and didnt have to sleep on streets cause of them
Gives opertunity to navigate one back In to community as a contributing citizen.
For the homeless people in our state this is the place to go for help, they can help from ID, bith certificates, medical needs and housing...
