Rick the personal trainer was very professional and informative. Great amenities for the price.

Place is pretty dirty, i often go to the 3 sporta or LA gym that are withing my house and i must say this is the dirtiest most unorganized gym out of the 3. Dumbell rack is half empty, need a weight? You have to go fetch where ever it may be. Ive been coming here on and off for years and never seen a staff out in the floor trying to pick up the weights. Its honestly a trip hazard having weights all over the floor

Can be crowded, depending on the time of day, but a good gym overall. Its convenient and close to where I live.

This is my favorite gym!! I love it, it’s amazing and has all I need to reach my goals. I don’t give 5 starts because it’s not open 24 hours like it used to be, I hate that because my schedule is not letting me go to work out, so I’m thinking about cancel my membership and go to EOS gym, it’s open 24 hours and it has amazing equipment too. Love all the equipment but place is not sanitized through the day, and trash is not picked up daily. Went three consecutive days and the trash was still on the equipment and floors. One of the receptionist is also not a morning person.

A lot of equipment but good luck trying to find the dumbbells. Weights are taking and never put back and people never take there weights off when done. Staff doesn’t do anything about it sooooo yea.

The sauna is nice and hot. Good machines. Good atmosphere.

Dirty place no one wipes their machines when done they are missing all types of dumbells... been here 2 months you have parents working out with all their kids at the machines instead of the daycare I swear this place is Ghetto with a capital G ... trainers only help the pretty girls employees not working the front desk all hide at their desk on social media... employees need to be making sure this place is picked up and equipment is in the right spots .. then you have alI the selfie takers on machines just taking up spots for social media ..... I guess you get what you pay for...

Busy gym equipped with most everything you need as well as a pool, sauna and jacuzzi tub AND juice bar! Racquetball rooms and a basketball court. All inside. It does feel a bit crowded so be ready to be around a lot of people unless you go super early or after 9pm. They close at 11pm right now. Personal trainers and group training ($49 a month for group) available.

This is a full perk gym. It has a steam room. Dont expect this place to be clean and brand new. It shows wear and tear, sweat and tears - My kind of gym. The demographics fall mostly on the Latino community.

They have great exercise machines that help me get the job done.

Very unprofessional business. I have a month to month membership and have been trying to cancel for a year. Every time I call to cancel, they tell me the manager is not there and they can’t help me. I went in person and they said the manager wasn’t there and they couldn’t help me. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Every other person has a boom box/ speaker 🔈 blasting music while working out. Management needs to have some sort of headphone policy, where other members can workout in peace.Literally today there were 4 different speaker being carried around playing all sorts of music

Rick and Crystal are SUPER rude and unprofessional. They should not be working with the public at all. The both of them kicked out a group of people for working out together and humiliated them in front of everyone there, including me. Do not recommend coming here unless you want to deal with costumer service like this. I’m embarrassed for them.

Dont really like it here. people dont put stuff back where it goes its very unorganized. But over all friendly staff.

I wanted to cancel my membership so I called this location since it’s where I got my membership from, they told me I had to come in for me to cancel my membership so I did on the only day I had off. They told me the manager wasn’t there to cancel my membership. They wrote down my name and number and said as soon as the manager comes in they will cancel it for me. A month later they charged me for the monthly fee. I called again and explained everything they said the manager is not there but gave me their corporate office number which I called multiple times and no answer or even a way to leave them a voicemail. This is by far the worse gym I have ever been to.

The trainers here are phenomenal! True progress comes with people who make sure you reach your goals!If you want to get fit try this place out! You will NOT regret it!

Canceled my membership. So unprofessional. Ricky and crystal came up to me and my friends while we working out accusing us of doing something “illegal” because my friend was showing us different exercises. Started yelling at us infront of everyone. And basically kicked us out. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. Never stepping foot here again.

The place was clean. They staff was polite & answered all my questions. The only thing I can say bad is the members dont put the weights back onto the rack. You either have to clear weights from the equipment to add the weight you need. Or hunt it down because its not with the rest of them. I havent worked out in a very long time so maybe weight room ethics are different now. Other than that, the place was badass!

The trainers are so rude and have no clue ... Specially the manager Ricky and the blonde cristal...gotta look the part to play the part... They have the Worst service and training skills. Im never going back to this gym again ... I rather go to Eos and wait for a machine that deal with this rude bad nasty horrible vibes 👎👎👎👎

Ricky and crystal are so unprofessional and rude. Now you cant work out in groups because its “illegal” apparently to them. Been going there for over 2 months and now they have a problem me and my friends working out together? They came up to us in the middle of our workouts yelling at us and telling us to leave. We all had to cancel our memberships because they told us they didnt want us back. It was so embarrassing the way they handled this situation. Crystal only had one week working there and because of this she made them lose 11 members it being my friends and family. Way to go! (:

People never bother to re-rack their weights. Have gone on multiple times of the day, even at 5am when it opens, and still there’s always weights missing.

Older LA Fitness/Esporta facility, but very clean. The neighborhood is a bit dodgy, dont leave valuables in your car. Very nice on-site staff.

I been trying to cancel my membership since April thru phone emails on line and to this day im still being charged i only came in 3 times and i pay $55 for a trainer i have not been in touch with since April. Why are you taking my money just line that! My contract expired !!!! Plus i signed up with sporta NOT LA fitness who is charging my account.

Its clean. Its neat. These employees are responsive and helpful but not pushy! All in all its a comfortable place full of wonderful people avid about fitness. I would like to see them be a little more attentive to the equipment though. It is starting to rust a bit.

Hate this. Never sign up for this place. I have been trying to cancel my membership for months and they refused to do it over the phone, lost my certificated letter and the manager has been unavailable the last 3 times I went in with the cancelation paperwork. Absolutely trash customer service.

Good gym, but a lot of people not wearing masks despite the signs saying that masks are required. Employees dont even try to enforce mask policy. Rude people with no mask still walk or stand near me. Very frustrating. Id say about 20% of the people dont have a mask on or have it hanging around their chin most of the time.

It does the job as far as a basic gym. Even before this pandemic closed the gym down. I’ve gotten sick here 2 times within two months. Every time it was from this La fitness. I know it because I literally only go to the gym and go home since I work from home. The first time was in a class with a bunch of people and we were doing cardio. Someone was sweating there sickness out and breathing it into the air lolThen the last time was a week before they closed La fitness down the second time. I had gotten a cold not Covid but I was sick. I washed my hands and wiped equipment down but not everyone is clean. Public places are risky. So I guess I took a chance with my health.I understand due to health reasons your not supposed to work out with a mask or you can possibly pass out.I just have to have caution next time I go. I might just go somewhere else that’s a lot cleaner.

I finished paying for my contract 2 months ago and cancelled my membership.Terrible experience of my life they started to charge me for someones elses membership this month and they wont give me a refund total money 290$ i paid for smh

Feels like like a bait and switch. Got enough La Fitness costomers to make the club viable. Then shortly after rebrandes as Esporta and offer memberships a 9.99$ but still charge me 30$ a month to go to the same club and want another 100+$ to downgrade. I understand I signed contract but it was for LA Fitness not Esporta.

Sarah, the manager was strictly amazing. The diligence she gave to making sure the equipment was where is belonged and her attention to cleaning detail was simply impressive. I’ve been going to gyms 30 years . I have never seen such work ethic from management. Talk about leading by example .Felix

If you havent been to this location in a while, come back you wont be disappointed. Place looks fantastic, cleaning crew is the best. Front staff in A.M. is super nice.

I like the size of the gym...unlike other LA Fitness in the valley, you dont feel claustrophobic. Ive only been here once in the evening, around 5:30 p.m. and like any gym at that time it is packed. The early mornings are the best time to come and workout. Its quiet, everyone keeps to themselves and the front desk girls are always friendly.

Really disappointed on how they are handling this esporta transition. Everyone gets cheaper prices except for your loyal customers. I pay $25 and have no guest privileges while new members can pay $25 and bring unlimited guests every time. Nobody ever told us about the new rates or that the gym was open 24 hours, I never got an email or anything. To make matters worse in order to take advantage of the new esporta rates I actually have to cancel my membership and leave the gym for a month.

Overall, I did not like my experience at this particular location. I always go to the Goodyear location, although it is smaller than this location it is better. There were a few machines I did see and whished were at my regular location. Im leaving a 2 star rating because the machines did work and for the machines that arent at my usual location. This location was dirty (floors, restrooms, and some of the machines), it had a funky odor, and no one here is capable of putting any of their weights away or in the correct spot. In my opinion, management has let this slide; for the most part, people at other locations will clean up after themselves and if they dont, there is an employee that will pick it up.

Cleanest its ever been

Typically, I go to a particular LA Fitness near my home in Chicago but, on this day, I was in Phoenix for Spring Training. This location had just completed a remodel so it was squeaky clean and all of the equipment was in good shape. They could use a couple more mats for those who do stretching exercises.

No one ever re racks their weights and never wipe down the equipment.

I FEEL LIKE AS A PERSONAL TRAINER AT THE CLUB YOU SHOULDNT TAKE OVER THE TWO MOST POPULAR MACHINES & DO SUPER SETS WITH THEM (THERE IS ONLY 1 GOOD SQUAT MACHINE ) MEMBERS SHOULD GET PRIORITY OVER THE EQUIPMENT . PERSONAL WORKOUTS CAN BE DONE ON YOUR OWN TIME . THIS TRAINER MIRIAM RUDELY CAME TO TELL ME SHE WAS USING THE SQUAT MACHINE WHEN I DIDNT SEE ANYONE THERE FOR A GOOD WHILE . SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY HOW MANY SETS SHE HAD LEFT, JUST GAVE ME A WEIRD LOOK AND PUT HER EARPHONES BACK ON .

Jasmine is great with working with people of all ages. She was good at analyzing my weaknesses and my strengths. She did not rush and took her time to give me a great analysis. I was not interested in training at this moment but she is good at what she does.

Im giving the facility 4 stars because they have plenty of equipment, a basketball and racquetball courts, a pools, steam room, sauna, etc.Im giving the staff 2 stars because probably over half the staff members look and act like they dont care about the gym or customers. To be fair its not all of them, but I got unlucky to be paired up with a personal trainer who didnt even show up to the appointment.Summary: enjoy the facilities and dont expect much from the staff. Overall 3 stars (being generous)

This gym is always busy, hence why its always a hot mess. Im enjoying the new equipment. It would be nice to see a friendly crew. I wish it was as friendly and organized as other gyms Ive been to. But at the end of the day it is just a place to work out I guess.

The fitness assesment was very educational, productive and very much needed, Anyone that goes to the gym needs it! Jasmine was great at giving me the information and understanding my goals also with following up.The workout I had was amazing!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The facility is trashy. Weights are all over the gym and are never put away in the correct spot. The entire place is crammed together so if you want to do any Deadlifting or serious lifts, good luck. Weight machines are falling apart or not calibrated correctly. The staff I have dealt with are incredibly rude and lazy. Instead of playing on their phones, they should be putting some effort into keeping the place at least moderately organized and helping members instead of rolling their eyes at them. I regret signing up here. I tried to cancel my membership and they wont let me until my first payment goes through. A ploy to rip you of your initiation and first and last month fees. Not worth the outrageous price. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR WORKOUTS/ LIFTING!!

Gym equipment good! However the bathrooms are incredibly dirty!!! And the hot tub is not clean either! Had tons of suds which means chemicals are off as well as the water is not clear! Not good! Please take care of your gym!!!

I love this gym. Ive been going since the middle of summer. Early morning are the best time to go before the gym gets crowded. The front desk is friendly, trainers are nice. The machines do get crowded but again, the earlier the better. Cleaning crew is always around but friendly. True weights do end up all over but again the earlier the better. That was you can also avoid the machine hogs who sit on the machine taking selfies, talking on their phone, or use the gym to hang out with the friends. Go to work out or get off the machine!

I wosh the sauna was cleaner but the staff is friendly and efficient.

A great facility haven’t been in cause sick but can’t wait to get better to hit the steam room

Joseph Dinh,I am a current employee at LA Fitness. First off, I do apologize about your night, I understand how that mustve felt like being treated so harsh... but youre missing the point. I am not trying to be rude, but our gym closes at 10pm. Unfortunately, the employees dont get paid after hour. Whatever hour we work on is what were paid, EVEN if its an hour late. Also, I am a college student and a mother. Not only I am tired, but I rarely have time for homework. So whenever I work, I bring my phone or computer in order to finish on time. Most of our employers face that difficulty as well. Just like me, we all care about our members when we walk in and out of the gym. I may be distracted, but I worry whether they had a good workout or what we need to improve. Once again, I do apologize for that incident. And I am sure whoever was the receptionist that night, she mustve felt that way, too. Well be sure to improve our act this year.Jacky

Very nice gym. I went to see what they had to offer and they aerobics classes, spin, pool, sauna room, steam room, free weights, and everything you need to be a better you.

Been coming here for about 2 years and its not too bad I alternate between here and another membership I have an MMA gym ($79/mo, BTW). The membership is only twenty bucks a month so you have to expect to get your moneys worth and for what I pay Id say its pretty fair. If you want something amazing you need to pay accordingly.

I was in this area searching for my missing schizophrenic son for three days starting at LA Fitness. My son had used their phone to call his mother in Boston and left the Club. One of the ladies on another shift was present at the time he made the call and identified his photo giving me a point to begin. I went into any establishment he would be inclined to enter in the Shopping Plaza showing his photo to anyone I could. All employees were helpful and concerned in my search and I have to say Carl Jrs was very helpful with letting me in to cool down from the heat I was far from acclimated to. All staff were polite and genuinely kind to me for the days I went in for cooling. It all began here and by Fathers Day I had located him. Much thanks to all that were kind to a concerned father..

When I first went in it looked great. I talked with one of the trainers and he gave me attitude because I asked about why the bathrooms were so dirty. He responded by saying that I cant be so picky I get what I get so I never went back there.

Yesterday y pay for initiation fee to start, its my first time going to a gym, they told me that I had it an hour with the personal trainer to see what I need it to work and how, I make the appointment for the next day and when I got there the guy at the front desk told me that me personal trainer was inside the restroom, that I need to start warming up at the machines and the the trainer was going to be with me in a couple of minutes, it was my first time in a gym, I didnt know how to use the machines, and when I got help from somebody else I started using a machine, I waited an hour and my personal trainer NEVER show up, I asked at the front desk and they told me that she was still in the restroom and that my time was over.That sucks!! Now I have to go because I pay already, but luckly there is Google and YouTube to ask for info in how to work different parts of your body.

I just had amazing work out by personal trainer Jasmine. The work was intense and challenging and im not a beginner when i comes to working out. She has a wide vareity of fitness knowledge and i was very impressed. So what ever body your trying to achieve man or woman She can help u reach your goals. I Would strongly recommend her if you want to see real result.

I come here once in a while if Im in this side of town and this place is messy. Weights arent racked right or people leave em laying all over the place. I guess this side of town are slobs were at the the gym people treat it like you would your mothers house!!

The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I came to this gym regularly for a while now and this would be the last time I ever come back to this gym. This incident happens on 12/27/2016. When I came in the staff at the front desk only focused on her phone and did not even look up to give greeting. When the gym is 5 minutes from closing, instead of simply notify me this fact, this same employee insisted that I need to pack up and leave now because she has to get everyone out by 10. I had to repeatedly tell her that I will leave promptly by 10, but technically I have access to this gym until 9:59:59 PM. Staff should not tell members to leave when there is still time before closing. This employee also refused to give name when asked. Also, I noticed she did not give the same notification to everyone in the gym at that moment. I suspect this employee was being racist to me. This gym has a lot to improve, especially customer service training to their staffs.

A lot of people don’t clean up after themselves here. Imagine what their homes look like 🤢. But anyways, it’s an alright gym.
