Fast and friendly service.. Very easy to business with. Thanks Jimmy.
Great place to take metal
Who ever owns this business should cut the hours back to 3pm close time, maybe earlier. The employees stop providing service after 3pm.
Im a very small time scrapper and I always feel like Im treated well and fairly at Liberty. I highly recommend.
Its embarrassing and frustrating anytime anyone runs out of gas but to make it worse I ran out of gas JUST PAST the weigh in area. Meaning that I was now blocking dozens of bigger trucks from completing their task. An employee was kind enough to bring over a gas can and give me some gas and even radioed for me to go in front of all the people whom I had just blocked moments before and get rid of my load so I could make it to a gas station. I even had a different helping me offload as to expedite the process. They went above and beyond and I really appreciate what they did for me.
Really really busy the iron went up so now is the time to take it
Great place
I had never sold scrap before today, so I didnt know exactly what to expect. Anyway, the staff were friendly. If youve never sold scrap before, heres how you do it. If youve got it in your car or truck, just drive up onto the scale (wait your turn, of course). It took me a bit of waiting and asking for help to figure that out. The scale operator will give you a receipt. From there, youll drop your haul wherever the inspector tells you, weigh your car on the way out and hit up the cashier to get paid. Anyway I made a few bucks for dropping off an old dishwasher. Well worth it!
The staff is very nice
One of the only places to take complete truck. Good experience and fair price with decent staff to walk you threw.
Honest and friendly. Also after calling around they have the best prices in town.
Are you allowed to have a DUI and still work here ?
...I like it.
I was paid $48 for 100lbs of scrap #12 #10 copper wire. Thats the lowest Ive ever received. Really $.48 A pound. What a rip off. Ill be taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same.
Nice enough, but misquoted me on the phone and tried to charge double once I got there. Theyre trick is to luer you in, they guilt you into doing business with them. Surrounded by other scrap yards, im surprised they act this way. Go to Mega Metals, its right down the street.
Frequent explosions/incidents at this plant- 3 in six months. Nearby houses are historic and deserve better neighbors.
Friendly staff- quick
Very professionally
