THIS is the garage you’re looking for. Went in for oil change and AC recharge, they called a few hours later and told me my AC didn’t need to be recharged ($120 service), I just needed a new cabin filter (about 75% cheaper than the recharge). They also added coupons I didn’t know about AND they finished ahead of schedule. I’m a kinda “shade tree mechanic” but given how honest, quick and professional these guys are I think my days of fixing my cars is over. HIGHLY recommended, top-notch crew here - I’m so glad to have found them!

I’ve had a couple oil changes here in the past and they do good work. I also like it because they are close to my house. But their customer service is awful. I’ve been trying to schedule an oil change for the past week. I called to schedule an oil change a few days ago and the guy literally pick up the phone and said “I’ll call you back” and hangs up. Obviously, I knew he wasn’t going to call me back. I called again the next day some guy answers and then hangs up again. I called today and the same thing. Very frustrating.

Went in for an oil change. Had a Groupon and the manager at the shop in phoenix refused to honor the Groupon as I had been to there shop 5 years before. I had even called and asked if it was a problem before purchasing the Groupon. Very Rude and unprofessional.

Steven and the crew were friendly and honest. They worked with me on schedule and delivered as promised. All pricing was upfront and no hidden charges. I had an alignment, tire rotation and balance done. Will be back again with my other cars! Cobra Tire was great!

This place is very unorganized. I had called in to schedule an appointment for an alignment. The day of the appointment they said we weren’t scheduled for that day. We rescheduled and I asked for an email confirmation to ensure this didn’t happen again. I got the email confirmation, the appointment was for Tuesday. I get a text on Monday saying my appointment was that Monday instead. I called to clarify and they said they had me down for Monday and NOW have to reschedule for Friday instead. Even though I had an email confirmation for Tuesday. They need to stop wasting people’s time and get it together.

Bought 4 tires 3months ago they went by appointment. Next day I got one.Not busy cuztheir alignment machine was new and down. No biggie I got tires they were adament about rotation in 3 months (free) and completed warranty for tires. 2 weeks later flat tire I called on early Friday morning they could not fix it til Tuesday. I said I can drop it off . No no we still cant get to it til Tuesday. So I paid out of pocket $15 patched it. I never ever had a 2 week old tire get a flat. Now made appointment for rotation about a week for the appointment .Let u know how that goes.

Very good service at a good value. I didnt get the sense that extracting as much of my money as possible was their sole purpose. It actually felt like they were trying to provide solutions. It is a rare and welcome attribute in the auto service industry these days. I have bounced around several shops trying to get a consensus on the work that needs to be done with my vehicle. They were direct in their communication and made me feel comfortable with their diagnosis. I would recommend giving them a try.

My tires were not rotated(because my curb rash on my wheel was still on front and not on back of vehicle) and my oil was still a dirty brown when checking it the same day. There wasnt a sticker on my windshield and the oil life NOT reset. I doubt my wheel alignment was done either. Be wary of the Groupon reviews of this establishment. If you use a Groupon they are just faking service and making up for the loss of money from the coupon by not preforming services. They saw my wife come in with the car and assumed they could pull a fast one on her since shes a female. Stay away.

Kurt and the guys provide excellent service at a great price! We purchased new tires and a leveling kit for a 2016 GMC Sierra and had the full 45,000 mile vehicle service done. We were very happy with their service, pricing, and quick turnaround. We highly recommend them!!

Cobra provided the best employees and quality in auto service Ive actually ever had. I had bought a groupon for an oil change and they were super respectful when explaining that I had bought the wrong version for my car. Their employee Jonathon was beyond willing to discuss many confusions I had about what kind of oil I needed(as well as the differences in price and quality of each)for my specific car, other services for my vehicle, etc. He was really cool and still kept things professional. Im young and dont have much (if any) experience/knowledge on servicing my vehicle, but he was able to educate me quickly and painlessly on both ends. I feel really confident in the decision I made for my vehicle and more prepared for those Ill make in the future. The shop itself was also very clean and comfortable and the oil change was done so fast, I was beyond shocked to be there for about 20-30minutes MAX. A few days later my car is still running beautifully so the quality was 10/10. Ill be coming back for sure!

Great service last June when I purchased 4 new tires. Now Im having issues getting the nationwide warranty I purchased to cover the replacement of those same tires less than a year later and after 15,000 miles. Im hoping the awesome service from last summer wasnt a one time thing.

Really great customer service here. I tried this place after I found a deal on Groupon, unfortunately I didnt read the specifics and it wasnt compatible with the oil my vehicle takes. The guy at the front still helped me out and made it really easy to do business with. I will say I tried calling them and never got a call back so it was easier to schedule an appointment in person. Overall a good place, with decent prices and great service.

As I drove away I feel like I was driving a new car! I no longer had this feeling that the something was going to fall off. Great customer service. They had me in and out in a day. Grateful!

Besides the long wait they do a pretty good job

Went here to get my brakes done, no notification lights were on at this time. 48 hours later I had a service engine light come on . Not happy . While I was getting my brakes done I requested a price for 2 tires for my wifes car . It was a good price so I made an appointment to get it done, I showed up for the appointment for the tires I was told apparently there was a mix up . The tires were ordered then there was a go back and a service member sent the tires back. I never received a phone call . I drove out there for nothing and wasted my driving there and driving back home to be told that . This place was highly recommended. After what happened between the service light going on and no communication about the tires I doubt it very highly I will be going back.

I also spoke with Jay at the Gilbert location for some pricing assistance. He was also very pleasant and I enjoyed our conversation about manual vehicles - keep practicing Jay! I will most certainly head back here for future works needed and highly recommend checking them out! There are dozens of places closer that I could have gone to but what looking for the best price. Thought we needed brakes because the sensor said so, turned out we only needed a sensor.. saved us so much money by being honest and fake like some other brake places

Came in with a coupon for an alignment and oil change, service advisor was friendly. Was not able to get alignment due to front end issues. The advisor showed me on the vehicle the work that needed to be done. And the order in which he we would replace the items. Completed the oil change. Will definitely be back one I fix some of the issues I was having. I do alot of the work myself on my cars but it was nice to get the inspection from mechanics I felt I could trust without being guilty or pushed into service. 5 star service. Also check out Lux coffee shop right down the street for some local roasted coffee and homemade treats.

Was verbally accosted l. Had a 10am appointment. At 12p they hadnt touched the car. Heard them talk about how they did the cars out of order by accident. Told them I had to work at 12:15p. Manager threw keys at me. Then had to come ask for them back to pull car out after his volatile eruption. Told me to go somewhere else, they didn’t need my business and to call Groupon. I didn’t have a Groupon I come and pay cash. I am a returning customer with 3 cars we bring here and tell everyone we know about Cobra. We will no longer be coming here. I get in 2021 it’s hard and people need extra help. But the lack of regard for a customer in this setting was sickening. Will be filing this to the docket at Arizona Corporation Commission & the BBB.

Just got off the phone with Kurt the manager to address the behavior of one of their employees. I had a 10am appointment. Got there 10 min early, pulled into the parking lot and parked my car. Mind you, there are no signs telling you where to park or how to park. They see you pulling in and no one came out to welcome you or tell you nicely where and how to park. Instead, after they watch you trying to figure it all out, a guy comes out and starts yelling at you while shaking his head. For a business to boast so much on their website about how much they care about customer service, they should teach their employees what that actually means. After reading the reviews on here, I wasn’t surprised to read the one Mandy left. She was in a wheelchair and no one offered her help. She had a similar complaint as mine. I live in central Phoenix and wanted to give these local guys my business. Thankfully, there is a ton of other local car service businesses in my area and I will be giving one of them a call right now. Kurt, you don’t need to reply to this review because you already shown me over the phone, why I had this horrible experience. You were rude, unapologetic, talked over me and told me that you didn’t need my business. Your wish has been granted and I hope whoever else reads this takes my review to heart. In order to make this a better world, we must treat each other with kindness and respect.

Similarly to the other oil change client reviews, if you are looking for quick, simple service- probably go somewhere else. Staff was pleasant but it took almost 2 hours to get my car back. I had made an appointment and at drop off, I was told the estimated time was 45 minutes. They also werent making people wear masks during Covid.

They did fine with my old Subaru Forester I used to have last year. This time on my VW GTI, the oil change took somewhere around an hour and a half to two hours, which wasnt that big a deal as they took the shop fee off. What angers me is the fact that when I went to check my oil level, I found that they broke the oil filler cap when they did the oil change. I found the top part with the handle separated from the bottom part, which I have to remove and put on with pliers until I can get a new one. They never even told me about this, and the cap was intact before I went here. Definitely wont be back.

Id give them more if I could. Came in to have front and rear breaks replaced. After inspection, I was brought outside to be shown that they actually didnt need to be replaced and that what I was feeling was just a shxt ton of dirt and build up. They very easily couldve taken my money and replaced them anyway. Further more they cleaned all that stuff off free of charge and now they feel perfect. Couldnt be more impressed with their professional service. Will def be going there for my auto needs from now on. Great service.

I am absolutely shocked by the customer service at this location.I followed my girlfriend over so we could drop her car off for an oil change. She parked inside the fence and I was outside. One of the spaces was blocked by two cones, and I was slightly angled in the other. One of the employees, I believe his name was Jonavon, came out and asked me to park straight. As my engine was still running, I told him we were just dropping a car off and that I’d be leaving momentarily. He turned around to walk away shaking his head. I was dumbfounded. I hadn’t even been there ten seconds, and in a civilized situation, wouldn’t have been there more than a minute. His rude treatment was absolutely unwarranted, so I went to speak to his supervisor.I was met with similar behavior, so we obviously left.My girlfriend called to speak to a manager (Kurt) when we got home. He was argumentative and dismissive making it blatantly obvious that he did not care about our business. It’s quite clear that he doesn’t care about their business either.Upon reading more reviews, it’s evident that there’s systemic disregard, disrespect, and an overall lack of competent service. Thankfully there are loads of other auto shops within a stone’s throw.Avoid Cobra on Central at all costs.

My only issue was paying nearly $140.00 for a repair they thought was the cause of my air conditioning blowing hot air. (I really could have used that money...BUMMER!) Come to find out, it was the compressor w/ leakage. Cost... $1400! Still, they did an ICE COLD job with my a/c repair! Dustin was OUTSTANDING since day one! He took care of me, explained everything to me in its simplest form, even paid for my Lyft rides home! Kurt (The owner) was just as courteous.They are officially my new mechanics!

Truly appalling customer service. Initially, I scheduled an oil change and alignment. The parking area was nearly full when I arrived and I let the employee know I had a wheelchair and needed room to get it out of my car. He was incredibly rude and said, well this is all the parking we have before walking away. I parked in the cramped spot and tried to remove my chair without my lift as the man watched. As he was walking by me struggling in the heat the CUSTOMER he was with offered to help me. Inside, there was no restroom available for customers. Then, my alignment was not possible because my tires were 7 years old, odd, considering that my car is 5. The manager was nice and told me to come back and itd be $450-500. I called today, now its $650 and I was hung up on. I wanted to support this small business despite being mistreated, but Im heading to Midas for better prices and service.

Very clean waiting room. Very minimal space, however they are scheduling appointments according. No restroom, although they did provide bottled water. They were thorough with the oil change and inspection and provided an electronic receipt with details of their recommendations.

They was like buy 2 get 2 free ok I don’t need tires now or anything else, how much oh just almost 600 for buy 2 get 2 . Oh it includes mount and balance etc. but I don’t need that, you said buy 2 get 2 so that’s what I want not all the extras, when telling me deal you didn’t mention it was a package until you thought you was getting my money . Advice be more detailed and straight forward cut the weak sales pitch.

At some point you will have to decide if a box on a form is more important than a lost sale and bad review. I had an appointment for a wheel alignment at the Gilbert location and I gave my phone number and e-mail address. He then asked for a mailing address which for security I typically dont give out to people I am giving keys to. He then asked for my mobile carriers name. When I asked why he needed that and he said the computer needs it to keep me updated on my car. He already had my texting and email information so when I declined he got all upset waving his arms and saying he didnt need to deal with these issues so early in the morning. I said I planned to be waiting in the waiting room and I dont need computerized updating for a minor service. He seemed so upset I didnt feel I would have honest service so I left and forfeited the money for my prepaid groupon

From my first call to Cobra, until they handed my keys they finished working on my car was wonderful. 10-star customer service. They have a great little waiting room, tv magazines. I had a 2-year-old with me and they playing Paw Patrol on the TV. He was a happy camper. Cobra fit me in, even with a lot of cars, they got me in at my scheduled time and got me out the door quickly. I am looking forward to using them again!

Called in to schedule appointment. Was put on hold for 10 minutes. Guy picks up again as if I am new caller. I explain I would like to set an appointment and have been on hold for 10 minutes. He just hung up on me instead. There are plenty of great places out there to go to. This is not one of them. The brake servicing must not have been as profitable as a bigger job for them. Terrible business.

This is my second time getting an oil change here. There customer service is impeccable. So much so, my family and friends now utilize them as well.

I recommend looking elsewhere for servicing your vehicle if youre getting more than an oil change or alignment done. I had a bad experience starting with appointment setting, and continued through the rest of the process. the labor done was good but the time wasted up to that point was huge.

These guys Rock- I pulled in one day having a bit car trouble- they diagnosed and said since it was such a small fix - no charge! Wow! So they now have a Customer for Life!

Love these guys! Found them by chance via Groupon and have been going to them for all of my service for about two years now. Honest, friendly, good prices, can definitely tell theyre not out to screw anyone. Theyre popular so expect appointments to be a week or two out (I think they just about always take drop offs though), and the work usually takes a few hours, but theyre worth the wait. (If youre going to stay and wait on your car, theres a Yoshis a block south with WiFi and good teriyaki.)

And now I have become a fan. Thanks Cobra!
