Solid work in a timely manner. First time coming here and needed my transmission fluid/filter changed. They did an excellent job and finished it within the stated time frame. Would definitely recommend for future services.

I cant say enough good things about this shop. They do great work, always get done on time and stick 100% to their quoted price. More then once Ive had a repair done here where another part was needed but not originally quoted, and each time they covered the cost without me even asking. These guys will always be the first place I go to get any service and repairs done, and I would easily recommend them to anyone else as well.

Professional and courteous. Gave me honest opinion about my ac and said they will do full diagnostic to see if they can find a leak, if not they will fill it up with freon and dye and have me come back to check. If they find the issue, the recharge cost will roll into the price of repair. 8am open and they already customers waiting to be serviced. 👍

I was told that parts were ordered and wouldnt arrive until late afternoon, in which would have to be installed the following morning. I received a call later that afternoon saying that my car was done. They received the parts and completed the job for me, early. On top of that, someone waited for me to go and pick up the vehicle since it was already closing time . Great customer service!

We had an appt. Friday June 11th at 11AM for an oil change and AC Service. When we showed up to drop off our car the facility was closed with a clock sign saying it would be open at 2PM. When we called the location it stated they were closed for maintenance. If that was the case the proper thing for a business to do would be to call your scheduled appointments and reschedule. We will never return. If I could give a zero I would give it that. Shame on them.

I am a little late on this review, but the employees at AAMCO have fantastic customer service. I had just moved to town and made a long trip when from one day to the next I ended up having some major issues with my transmission that needed attention ASAP. The folks at AAMCO were able to take my car in right away, address what was wrong, and fix it over the weekend. Now my Escape runs like new and youd never now anything was ever wrong. I also have peace of mind knowing that with such an important service they also have you come in periodically to make sure that everything is still running smooth. Again, I cant rave enough about their fantastic customer service and attention to detail and should I have any other car troubles, Ill definitely be heading their way.

I had a wonderful experience here as a first time customer! I have a very old but well taken care of antique vehicle that needed a minor oil leak repair. I was a mechanic a very long time ago, thus I am hesitant to let anyone besides myself work on it, but life got in the way and I needed someone I could trust to do specific work on my vehicle fast. The manager there, James, was very courteous, respectful, and friendly! His crew did an amazing job on the repair itself; it was very precise and a clean job! The shop itself is clean and you can tell they take pride in their work. Best of all, the repair cost far less than I could imagine! James also pointed out some other repairs I should consider and gave me recommendations; at no point did I feel pressured or upsold and he worked with me to determine what plans I had for my antique vehicle. I will take my cars here from now on for sure.

Expensive. Got my gear shifter fixed and it ran me over 600 hunnid bucks. Ridiculous

What I appreciated most about Laveen Aamco is that they were up front about scheduling my service. Before I walked in to make my appointment, I had just spent several hours waiting in one of their competitor’s lobby fo my oil change. Despite having an appointment, they hadn’t even started working on my car at the end of the business day.Laveen Aamco told me right away that they wouldn’t be able to help me immediately. The fact that Laveen Aamco was so honest with me up front makes me feel like they will be honest about everything, and that I can trust them with my car.

I checked them out for my 50k miles service on my Dodger. Absolutely great service, good neighbors, very knowledgeable, and they used the correct and genuine parts and fluids. They even fixed other problems at no cost, that I have been putting on hold. I trust them and I highly recommend them.

They actually messed up my AC when they were supposed to just be doing a alternator change and oil change.

I scheduled an appointment to have my air conditioning checked in the middle of the summer. They were able to get me in the next day and had my ac checked and repaired in a very timely and professional manner. Now my ac blows ice cold. Will keep recommending aamco for any automotive needs.

Do not go here for honest work. Literally the shadiest people ever.I explicitly asked them NOT TO TAKE APART MY TRANSMISSION! I didn’t want to pay 4500 for a repair on my sons car that’s only worth 5kThey did take apart the transmission. And then they tried to charge me $1500 to put it back together essentially strong arming me into the overpriced repair.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!Negative 100 stars

I went in for a timing chain replacement and received without a doubt the most horrible service repair that Ive ever had. Needless to say these mechanics are crooks and highly inexperienced amateurs at repairing a vehicle. If you need a simple oil change here thats fine although I would double check before you leave to see if they dont put Pepsi instead of motor oil in your engine.Not only did they not fix my timing chain issue theyve made the problem somehow worse and overcharged me for it. The manager accused me of a faulty alternator which was working fine prior to brining it into the the so called experts.Luckily he made it right by replacing the alternator that THEY had broken in the first place (mind you this wasnt the issue that I had originally came in with). This was of course after arguing with me over the phone to accuse me of saying it had come in like this which was not the case...sigh.Having left the shop 6 months later only to find out from the dealer (which is where I shouldve taken my issue up to in the first place...Ill take the $3,000 L on that...thanks AAMCO...or whatever) that the timing chain looks like it was replace by an ape with two left hands and dinosaur brain.These idiots at AAMCO took longer then they quoted me on the job. Didnt do the job as they advertised they did. Over-quoted me for the initial price. Basically every greasy trick in the mechanic hand-book and took me for a ride. I would not wish my enemys daily driver to be repaired by these clowns. This was the first and only time Ive taken my car to be serviced by an outside source (I usually take it to the dealer and by god I shouldve this time) and was severely disappointed.The manager of this shop is extremely rude and their staff of child mechanics couldnt replace a windshield wiper for you if their lives depended on it. I honestly do not know why or how these crooks stay in business, thanks for screwing me over during a COVID Pandemic.I now have to take my car over to the ADULTS so they can properly repair it. Needless to say avoid this place at all cost!

Terrible, cars left outside overnight unattended and broken into to steal gas and tried to steal the catalytic converters (cut exhaust). Owner (Justin) states not responsible for theft.So you ask me to come in to make things wright,then proceed to verbally abuse me telling me to just pay for it myself and get off his property and remove my bad review or else!! Wow,talk about customer service.It was only about $50 bucks worth of damage.People youve been warned,stay away from this place!!! Youll learn the hard way,like us.

On 35th Southern had to tow my vehicle out,,they did not keep to there word,, serviced on one thing knowingly the gasket under that part was leaking excessively,, then tried to get more for removing part again and( fixing ) leak, . They were blatantly trying take an experienced man for a fool

Took my Toyota 4Runner in for brake work March 2020. I had just received my stimulus check for $1,200.00 which was enough to pay for the repair. I dont have all the quotes from memory, however the first quote for repair was $300.00, a few minutes later the quote came back @ $1,000.00. Again, I had the funds to pay in full. 6 months later, I bring my truck back to AAMCO as I had been experiencing the EXACT problem as before. NOW, im being told the master cylinder is bad & had I brought the truck in sooner, it may have been repaired under warranty. I work out-of-town & only drive my truck once or twice per week or sometimes not at all as I have 2 other vehicles. The cost to repair the master cylinder is $382.00. Ill have to shop around for another repair shop.. I dont feel I received good customer service...******** UPDATE****** I received a call from the gentleman assisting me on my brake issue the following day asking me to return his phone call. I left a voice message that same day. I called Monday morning, the owner answered the phone, remembered my break issue as the gentleman had discussed my problem with him from a couple of days prior. The owner proceeded to tell me he didnt want me driving my vehicle with a brake issue & immediately scheduled an appointment 2 days later to do the master cylinder repair under warranty. Long post, but worth writing & sharing!! Great customer service is still out there.I returned my vehicle to the shop last week as I was experiencing the same issue as the first time I took it to the shop (brakes sticking). I left it for the technician to remain over night & hopefully duplicate the brake issue I was experiencing as now the problem was getting worse.UPDATE *** THANKS to the entire AAMCO team. Justin, James & the technicians behind the scenes. I came to the shop with a brake issue, you worked with me to resolve it professionally. Im once again riding in a safe vehicle & for that Im grateful.***FOLLOW-UP ts been several months since my truck was repaired. To date I havent had any issues with the brakes!! Again, thanks to the AAMCO team on S. 35th Avenue & Southern for repairing my brakes & excellent customer service!! 👍🏽👍🏽

Made & had an appointment for Friday morning at 8am. Showed up at 730am to be the 1st one in line & take care of paperwork. Was the 1st was seen that day. Never recieved a call during the day, so I drove by at 430pm & car was in the same place I left it. Went in to talk to person & they said I was next. And they close at 6pm. Why book appointments & not honor them! Bad service!

Stuck to their timeline, and price was fair. They are taking the necessary precautions with the pandemic as well.

Had our truck towed there with a suspected broken transmission. Andela and her staff took great care of us and our truck. Lucky it wasnt the transmission and we were out the next day. Thanks all! Beware though, she takes the COVID guidelines seriously. Dont come without a mask, and dont step past the Red Line. High five.

Great experience! I was very worried about getting my car fixed and worried about being taken advantage of. This place was great. The owner assured me that I wouldn’t be charged for any unnecessary work, the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and friendly, and best of all, the quote that I was given was exactly what I paid. It is good to know that there are still good, honest people in the world. I would recommend them to anyone.

A few months back I went in to have my Impala checked out because it was giving me trouble. They test drove it, tested all the electrical, and determined it was the transmission that needed repair. I decided to try a couple of other things first until the car completely stopped and left me stranded. I had a family friend check it out and he agreed it was the transmission. Eventually, AAMCO towed my car to their shop at no charge and rebuilt the transmission. It took about 5-6 business days and a bill of $2500 but now it drives better and smoother than any of our other newer cars we have at home. Was it expensive, yes but I have piece of mind that it was done right and I now have paperwork for if I decide to sell in the future. The man and lady I dealt with at the front desk were great, they gave me all the information necessary for me to feel comfortable moving forward with the repair. I will return for other services.

By far the best transmission shop in Phoenix ! Dustin and his crew are very knowledgeable in transmissions and overall repairs. Amazing quality in service and products. I couldnt have chosen a better place to entrust my vehicle!

I am a grumpy old woman that drives an old car and doesnt have a lot of extra cash laying around. I know I am not a dream customer having been told by numerous other establishments so I braced for that same attitude when my car was towed into this shop. What I received was just the opposite. These boys really went out of their way to get me back on the road and with a few coins still in my purse. The owner is a real sweetie! Thank you all, if I find myself needing more work you are the only place in town for me.

I never do these but I just had to this time. I went to This AAMCO to replace a transmission. I paid $1000 for them to order a transmission the first transmission they replaced it with was defective, they tried again and the second transmission was defective!! I told them I would just take it somewhere else. But they told me I would have to pay $1000 for labor for them TRYING to fix it. So they wouldnt release the vehicle and they kept my $1000. How does this make sense? I had to get a lawyer to get my money and the car back 6 months later. This place is a joke!!

In November 2019, I took my car down for a routine oil change with synthetic oil and a free diagnostic for my A/C. Not only did they not “diagnose” my A/C issue but we recently discovered a severe oil leak in my car. The oil also appears “dirty” and not at all like synthetic oil... After taking my business elsewhere, my A/C was fixed for less than $100 whereas AAMCO wanted $90 to just run more diagnostics plus whatever it would take to fix it. 100% do not recommend.

I brought in a 14-year-old Focus with electrical problems. I told them I wasnt in a hurry, so they took their time, but even if I was in a hurry it would have taken a while as they are very very busy, due to how many customers trust them. Appointments are recommended.They found all the electrical problems, and fixed them all up flawlessly, making sure to communicate with me as to costs and time frames every step of the way. Things like replacing alternators can be really painful in the purse, but if you talk with Anton about it, he can figure out ways to lower the cost. Theyre extremely friendly and knowledgeable here, and as delighted by a returning customer as I am to once again entrust them with the care of my vehicle.

Great experience. Shop and waiting room were very clean. The work was very efficient and the price fair. I was in and out for an oil change in about 45 minutes. The staff were friendly. I highly recommend and will go back.

I had good experience after few different mechanics told me my engine was blown heads were blown I called aamco they towed my vehicle and turned out it was a fuse missing. Andela was very nice and communicative kept me up to date with what was going on. Definitely recommend Aamco

Do not go here! I brought my car in 2 times to see what was wrong and get a full check on everything. First time I brought it in all they did was change the battery and the terminals. (I was hearing a loud whining noise and my car didn’t start a few days after that. And at one point it took 30 seconds or so to shift. So I thought it was my transmission. ). All of it stopped after they changed my battery. Then I brought it back in cause the noise was back. All they did was test drive it after a full day of having my car. They said everything should be fine and they would need a highly skilled mechanic to get into the real problem but most likely it’s nothing to worry about. I have 5 kids and need my Honda Odyssey working properly. Well the day I got my car back from them the second Time everything shut down. Wouldn’t go in reverse, wouldn’t shift into gear, gauges were not working, ac went out, windows and locks wouldn’t work. Basically it was useless. So me and my husband did some research and found out the alternator was completely shot. So we had to take it out ourselves and buy a new one and put it in ourselves. So I don’t recommend a place that can’t even do a simple check of the alternator. I would have been better off going to auto zone. Not to mention he said he gave me a great deal and was helping me out and pushed me to write a good review in his office. Well I’m not coming here again. They did nothing but change the battery and drive it.

Lovely Lady up front help me understand what needed to be done with my car in a clear and easy to follow way. I got my transmission serviced for about 350 and I was able to drop it off and pick it up the next morning

Brought our chevy Silverado in on Friday around 12:30 due to our check engine light being on. They said it will be done that day and they would give us a call. No call all day so we called around 5:30 and found out they didnt have a lift available but would get to it tomorrow morning (Saturday). No call that morning, so we again decided to call around 2pm AND the shop was closed at that time! Unfortunately husband works on Sunday (when he needs the truck) and the shop is also closed on Sunday. Will have to see what happens when they open on Monday. Hope to have a better update/outcome.

AAMCO kept us updated on the progress on our vehicle, it took a couple of weeks but the delay was not in their control.

What a fantastic group of people at AAMCO. I am travelling from Ontario Canada on vacation and my rear wheel bearings gradually got worse, I had to get them repaired in Phoenix before returning home. I had tried some dealers and it was going to be a week. Went to AAMCO first thing Monday morning and car was repaired before lunch. By far great service for the first time and first impression definitely will return and trust with car care service. Anton, Amy, and Armando were all great. I was in a bind and needed oil change service asap everywhere else in Laveen I was looking at minimum 2hour wait I went to Aamco let them know my situation and they were quick to help. Being in the customer service industry myself, seeing how they go above and beyond for their customers.

They over charge an think that we hard working people wont figure out whats what . its bad that the guy at the counter told me my repair was a cheap fix 200 in parts 500 in labor. But amazing how they screw up an tell you one day an 3 days later there done . And the parts only cost 75 bucks an took 3 hours I know there new to the area but not new to the auto repair industry . finding out that they had to have a dealership fax over an engine schematic so that they would know what exactly theyre doing tells me that I cannot go back there and looking at there workmanship they only replace part of the things they said they would do all of everything that needed. They suck. Im sorry Im truthful when u got a gute feeling trust it .

Felt taken advantage of being from out of town and pretty much stranded at the shop with a transmission problem. When I got the vehicle back it was way over serviced. I removed 3.5 quarts from transmission to bring it back to appropriate level. Radiator brackets were left uninstalled after changing radiator and coolant level was over filled to the top without any room for expansion. Air intake duct clamps were loose for the intake. Customer service is also subpar - complete defensive stance in support of the shop and even told me, “I don’t have time to be going back and forth” in regards to being on the phone. I was told I would be given the old parts to verify discrepancies and called back and that didn’t happened. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED!
