I recently engaged in a large transaction with Bobby Poll from Sig Auctions. He was easy to deal with, fair with the price he offered and VERY knowledgeable about sports collectibles and the collectible industry. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to you for your sales of collectibles.

FIRST RATE IN EVERY WAY - Please Read MY SIG story...I wanted to share my wonderful personal experience with SIG Auctions. A friend of mine referred me to the website which is easy to sign up for, user friendly and full of some of the coolest memorabilia I have ever seen including rare signed baseballs, OLD Hollywood signed head-shots, and even a mounted display featuring the signature of every US President from Washington to Trump!Anyway, I recently bid on and won an unsigned baseball card lot of Mickey Mantle cards that were listed on their website. It was a neat grouping - a 1967 Topps Pin-Up, a 1968 Topps Poster Box Cut Out and two vintage, though unidentified, picture cards. I thought one happened to be one of the more rare cards in the Mickey Mantle baseball card universe: the 5x7 Wheaties Rookie card of the Commerce Comet. When I say rare, there were only 80 ever graded by SGC (11) and PSA (69) - combined. To put that in perspective, there are thousands of graded copies of the iconic 1952 Topps #311 card, the holy grail of Mickey Mantle baseball cards and perhaps in all of baseball, no offense to Honus Wagner of course. As the story goes, a General Mills executive saved these Wheaties test issue cards when a deal could not be reached in 1951 with all athletes pictured in the 11 card set. As such, they were likely never issued publicly or, according to some, were test marketed in extremely low numbers and subsequently pulled from shelves. So, as you might guess, new ones really dont show up too often. Since all items on SIG Auctions are guaranteed authentic, I wasnt at all concerned but at the same time, baseball cards bring out the child in me and I couldnt wait to get my hands on it and see if it was the real thing. Now, Ill pause here momentarily because if this all seems too good to be true, just wait - it gets even better!I made payment immediately and called to inquire about shipping the item. A reasonable turnaround time is a couple weeks after your payment is received with all reputable auction houses - as is typically the case with SIG Auctions - however, when I called to ask more specifically, I found out that they were literally in the middle of moving offices that weekend and that, regrettably, the orders might take a little bit longer. And yet, in what can only be described as the highest caliber of service and professionalism that I have encountered by any business in quite a long time, I had the card in hand three business days after the auction ended.Three days, in the midst of a move, for a first time customer. Seriously? Can it get more first rate than that? The happy ending to my story? I now own the 81st graded copy of the 1951 Wheaties Premium Proof Mickey Mantle G card. For a Mickey Mantle fan and a lifelong collector, this is - and I mean this quite literally - a dream come true. Now, the real two questions are......will your dream come true at SIG Auctions? And when it does, will you post your SIG story?
