The technician was very nice, we had him come out for a diagnostic. The gentleman told us our motor blower went out and it would $1300 for repair. When we had our family come out to replace the $300 motor. Turns out the transformer was bad and our motor was completely fine. Unfortunately we paid $120 for a false diagnosis. Glad we didn’t pay the $1300 and did more investigating ourself.
I have used them for years, and was disappointed to discover they no longer service my area. They did refer me to an additional provider.

They were nice on the phone but dont expect to buy parts from them if your not a contractor. They werent able to help me but they did refer another company that was able to assist me.
Ive used Adams Refrigeration for 10 years for preventative maintenance and two repairs. Every encounter has been great. My heat went out this morning and they responded within 2 hours and had me repaired shortly there after. Their technicians are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to use them.
We called Adams refrigeration to inspect the two HVAC units in the home we wanted to purchase. They did they inspection for $120 and told us the units worked without problem. Not even a month into owning the home, we called them out to perform a routine cleaning and maintenance of the units. We were told one unit had a clogged drain pipe that they flushed during this maintenance. About 2 weeks after that, that particular unit stopped cooling. Adams returned to the house and found that the unit had frozen over and that water was overflowing the drainage pan. They claimed to have flushed this drainage pipe again during this visit. A week later, I called a different company out to come service this HVAC because we were still having problems. The drainage pan was overflowing still when the new company opened it up and there was extensive water damage. The second company had to remove a portion of the drainage pipe that had calcified over and created a complete blockage. There is no way that the technician from Adams would have been able to flush this line, though they claimed to have done it twice. I called Rex, the owner of Adams Refrigeration to tell him all of this and explained what had happened. I was upset that we had spent over $1000 with his company for services that I dont believe they ever actually performed. Our HVAC was always left in the same subpar condition and I was never notified that the pump was still leaking water all over. Rex listened to me and told me he would look into and get back to me the next day. Of course, no phone call the next day or any day after that. I have called him back three times after, but he refuses to take my call or return my messages. This company is unprofessional and scammed us out of $1000.
Jeremy is awesome and is the only person we now trust. We had three companies come out trying to sell us a new unit, and none of them even attempted to fully diagnose the issue. Within 10 min Jeremy had our unit blowing cold air with zero parts. Imagine my surprise! We happily paid for the service call!
When selecting a service business you want to know they are going to do it right the first time. However, we all know businesses are staffed by humans and humans make mistakes under the best of circumstances. W e have used Adams for both service and a complete install of two new extremely efficient complete AC/furnace units from Carrier. You are going to get on time technicians with fast and efficient service and the one thing that didnt go the best in the install was made right above and beyond our expectations. With knowledge/skill and customer service like that you CANNOT go wrong!
Adams Refrigeration has serviced us several times. We have been really happy with their service. The owner is a man of honesty & integrity and the serviceman that we have had has always been knowledgeable and helpful. I do recommend them, because I feel that they are trustworthy and professional and will not overcharge.
A company that boasts about being Non-Comission but has an incentive program that pushes technicians to sell units. If your unit is more than 10yrs old OR does not have a warranty I guarantee you that Adams Refrigeration will send their #1 seller, Marcus Pippin, to your door. Him and other techs will try to sell you a new unit even if the unit is repairable in order to get their bonus. Lets talk about the installs themselves... For the most part the installs turn out pretty decent as long as their Lead Installer is not working that day. Sloppy work, dirty finger prints everywhere, takes a few dozen cigarette breaks during the install, never wires up second stage on a 2 stage unit (decreasing overall performance and efficiency of the unit), not installing gas lines or flue pipes correctly (NOT TO CODE), Falsifying APS/SRP rebate forms, and has NO IDEA how the units hes installing actually work. Its astonishing how this company is still in business with work ethics such as these. BUYERS BEWARE!

Went for an interview with the owner in the past & he blatantly told me during the interview that as a tech I was required to condemn every condenser fan motor on every service call & bring it back to the shop to be repainted and take a newly painted used motor off the shelf (from someone elses unit) and install it for the high price of a new motor.I walked out and have told everyone who has mentioned them.
This is a great company. I will forever send them business. Youll get the top technician in terms of knowledge in the valley. Quality installation and get treated right. Dont hesitate to call this one people.
Great company that has serviced our air conditioner for years. Highly recommend them for affordable, responsive, quality service. They dont try to sell you anything that you dont need, or fix anything that isnt broken (like some other AC companies). I would recommend them to anyone!
We got an AC checkup done, technician was 3 hours late for appointment with no call. A couple of repairs were needed, the boot was torn at the roof line. The guy left without giving us an estimate, said he would call back but never did. I ended up getting on the roof and sealing it myself. A business that fails to get back with their customers is written off in my book. Also, I would have gladly paid them for the repairs. Not good to leave money on the table like that.

Let me start with I am a business owner, and I know how important reviews are. I wouldnt write a bad review unless I received really horrible service.Today I was referred to Adams Refrigeration by Goodman brand air conditioners. Goodman had the part I needed but I no longer have a contractors license and they do not sell retail. Goodman had explained to me that they do business with Adams refrigeration and that I could buy the part from Adams retail. The woman at Goodman said I could pay Adams over the phone and pick up the part at the Goodman location. I contacted Adams refrigeration and pressed option 2 for parts. A person named John answered, I started repeating what the women at Goodman had told me and I immediately get confrontation, attitude and push back from John like this was not possible, so I start to repeat what the woman at Goodman had said, which she made sound very simple. John gets really snotty and says with the most sarcastic tone, I dont know I have to check, you havent even given me a part number. I tell John there is no reason to get pissy I am just trying to buy a fan blade and he responds ok guy, and puts me on hold. When John returns he says your special price for today is 146.20$. It sounded very high, but I said ok and we ended our conversation. The part is a condenser fan blade. After I get off the phone I thought back how he said my special price, so called a friend who is a HVAC tech to tell him the price John quoted and he says no the guy is trying to rip you off. He makes a few calls around and makes it so I can buy direct from Goodman. The part Adams refrigeration or better yet John was trying to give the special price of 146.20 cost only 34.39$ total wholesale. I am a business owner and I understand a reasonable mark up but very few industries have a 325% mark up and I know HVAC parts are not one of these industries. I would assume John is an employee, because I could never imagine a business owner talking down to a customer the way John does. If ever found out that one of my employees treated one my customers in this manner, I would terminate them on the spot. As for Adams as a company I can not speak of they might be a great company but after my experience earlier today I would never attempt to do any business with them ever again.
