Nationwide connected me with them at 4:26pm. After waiting for sometime I called them let them know my ride was here. My car was stuck at the pump at a busy gas station and I was scared to leave it unlocked. They told me 1-1.5hrs and assured me they’d be able to retrieve the key if I lock the doors with it inside. So I did. 4 hours later I heard nothing from them. Then ignored my calls and nationwide calls. 8 hours went by for some reason when we canceled and they accepted the request again but didn’t show. So I called nationwide and at 3:30am they send out for a different company. They tell me they can’t tow my car because all doors are locked and they keys are inside. So not only did STERLING TOWING NEVER ARRIVE, my car was stranded for 1/ hours and when more help came there was nothing that they could do to help. They will pay for what they have done to us!!!

I have never had such an upsetting experience with any company like I did with this one. I needed a towing to a mechanic and requested road side assistance through Nationwide. First off, I was told the tow truck would arrive in about an hour and a half....I get a call after two hours from my insurance saying that the tow company had to assist someone else and that they were going to take an additional 2 hours. Thankfully this wasn’t an emergency so I had no problem with the delay. Second, the address of the mechanic where I was having the car towed has two different businesses on the same large lot. I texted the tow guy asking to please let me know when he was arriving to the lot because my sister would receive the car since she was at the mechanics, she was going to let him know which side of the lot the car was going to go. Not only did he not call me....he dropped it off at the wrong place!! I called the company and the guy said he didn’t care about what I had to say, they dropped it off at the address given and to call the insurance and file another claim. He didn’t even allow me to speak. They did their job wrong and expected me to file another claim with the insurance so that the problem they caused could be rectified. They only cared about being paid by the insurance. Save your money and go elsewhere. They are not worth it!! Pathetic excuse of a business! Look at the screenshot to see the time I had to wait!

Was supposed to be to towed with roadside assistance. They didnt come 2 and a half hours later and I could never reach them through phone bc their mailbox was full. Yes, I had contacted roadside too in between and they claimed this company told them theyd be their within half an hour as well. If you have roadside assistance and they connect you with this service dont waste your time and request another provider.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. I needed roadside assistance at 4 pm on wednesday afternoon. The given eta was 5:42. at 7:30 i still had no new update then i called several times and had gotten no answer. i had to leave my keys in my car unlocked because i sat in the freezing cold for 3.5 hours and couldn’t wait any longer. Called this morning and they told me the tow truck cancelled at 6 pm yesterday but did not give anyone a update on that or a reason why. Definitely do not recommend this place.

I would leave a -0 stars. I had called roadside assistance and try to get my car towed for about a 4 weeks now and every time its an issue. The drive had me waiting ( just today, Ive tried to get my car towed multiple times) 4 hours. The tow truck was suppose to get to me at 1:04. No show. I called at 11 am and was told driver would be here at 1:30 they man said he should be 15-20 mins hes close. at 3:30I called again to find out the driver went to a doctors appt! on the job! I had to get my car to a garage before 4pm and no one was going to let me know he was too busy doing his own thing. I hung up to confirm the garage closed at 4. This is ridiculous and this was only today . Ive been trying to tow my car for weeks. Would not recommend!

If I could leave a zero rating I would. This company is horrible. I called at 3:30pm for a tow. They said ETA will be at 5:00pm. I called several times and they kept pushing back the time. I waited til 7:20 they never showed up or gave me a call. I had to call another company. Never use this company they are horrible and unprofessional...

Mike was a nice guy, spoke to him on the phone twice beforehand to schedule a pickup and he confirmed his time shortly before he arrived. Professional and offered the agreed-upon value for my vehicle. Showed up on time and moved the car out of a hard to reach spot.

Do not use this company, even if your insurance connects you with them. Immediately request a new company. I don’t know how they have a contract with USAA.They lied about not being able to find my car immediately off of 95 (I gave them a pin-dropped EXACT location, where my husband drove to to pick me up no problem) and they charged me a GOA fee. They never contacted me to inform me they hadn’t towed the car. I found out the car didn’t make it to the dealership when I called the dealership to confirm it arrived, and it wasn’t there.When I called Stirling to see what happened, they told me it wasn’t their problem. I had to drive back out to the location I left my car to make sure the car was still there. It was, and I had to start the process all over again.

The guy who picked me up I would recommend to anyone this was the first time I’ve been in that situation of needing towed and he was very professional and comforted me in a bad situation,,,,if you are ever in a towing situation I would recommend this company and most important the driver I had. My insurance wanted me to go to this tire place that was over priced and not good and he recommend a place that was amazing it was a fair price and finished everything quickly and waited around with me until the job was done which is great bc I’m not from the area and had no idea where I was,,, I’m very grateful for picking this tow company in a time in need

This towing company is the pits. They were located 20 minutes from where I broke down. The ETA was about 50 minutes and I’ve been waiting over 2 HOURS for them to show up. Called about 12 times. No answer or call back...extremely rude and unprofessional. If your roadside assistance recommends this towing company, do not allow them to dispatch them. Save yourself the boredom.

If you read this after seeing the horrible comments below, just know this: those comments were correct. Our insurance company connect us to this towing service. After two hours, they did not show up after repeated phone calls. We need to be connected with a other towing service. Avoid this place if you could.

Called for roadside assistance at 10am. Progressive dispatched this tow yard They never called or came to tow my vehicle At 4:30pm I had to call an cancel because the garage would be closed before the next truck could get to me. Stirling towing should be removed as contractor for Progressive. They are NOT welcome to my Home nor do I wish them any patronage as a paying customer!

The horrible towing company, if you need help I wouldn’t recommend “Stirling towing” told me they would arrive in an hour call me 2 in half hrs later. Called and said that they will be there in 5 mins. Then there Lied to there manager and said they showed up in I did not have the right tools.They never showed up and hes supposed to bring his tools.

Excellent services was provided to me from Mike and the Stirling towing company. No complaints at all, I was very impressed with the services from the timely manner, the attitude was on point very polite professional and you could tell these guys are very experienced. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of road assistance. Mike and the Stirling towing company will come save the Day no question asked!

We needed our car towed to local Ford Dealer here in Philly and called thru State Farm. We were told the wait would be 90 minutes. After nearly 3 hours they still had not shown. I called State Farm back and was told their tow truck was in an accident. So call was cancelled and too late to get anyone here before service center closed. Called State Farm this morning and they assigned the same company - Stirling. Was told they would be here within the hour. Its is 1 1/2 hours later - they are not here and I havent heard from. When I call you get voice mail and announcement that the mailbox is full and you can not leave a message. Looking at other reviews why does ANYONE use this company

Tow service never showed up! Left me stranded! When I called company phone it kept going to voicemail! This company shouldn’t have any contracts with any insurance companies of any sort! Just plain out horrible

This was the first company that my roadside service dispatched to me when my vehicle broke down on the side of the road. I called several times to make sure that I was allowed to ride with the driver. No one answered and a few calls went straight to voicemail. After 45 minutes of no ETA, confirmation that I could ride with the driver or the roadside company being able to reach them, a new tow company was dispatched. This was the worse most unprofessional experience Ive ever had with a towing company.

Was told they would be here in 1 hr maybe 1 hr and a half. It’s been 3 hrs and I’m still waiting. Don’t ever use them

This has been the worst experience with a towing company. I called my insurance company at 2:00pm stating I needed a tow for my car. They responded with the towing company info and said the ETA would be about 60 min. Two hours later I still heard nothing. I called the supplies number and no answer. Called my insurance company explaining it was well over 2 hours waiting, they call the dispatcher and said the guy was stuck in traffic from an accident and would still be about 45 min. I said fine and waited the 45 min which turned into another 2 hours. I again called the number to contact the guy coming to tow my truck and no answer. The tow FINALLY showed up at 6:45pm, almost 5 hours after my initial phone call.Thankfully my car was in my driveway and I wasn’t on the side of the road. This service is unacceptable and since the tow was stuck in traffic I should have been notified and they should have sent out a different tow. Don’t supply a contact number if you are unable to be reached or do not answer. I am truly disappointed in this company and their service.

This company was dispatched by Hum Roadside Assistance to tow a disabled vehicle my elderly driver was driving in Port Richmond. They never showed up and never picked up their phone. Hum had to dispatch another towing company ALMOST THREE HOURS LATER to tow his car... I hope they have a good lawyer.

Waited 3 hours for a tow and never showed up. Called multiple times and left voicemails with no callbacks. Insurance company also tried to reach them with no luck. Ended up canceling and rescheduling with a different towing company.

I work for a motor club and this provider made a customer wait around an hour and a half. The customer was amazingly understanding yet this company refused to answer their phones. Im almost certain they turned them off because they went from ringing to going straight to voicemail where the voicemail is full. Needless to say we cancelled and set up a new provider for the customer.

Erie insurance called for a tow. 3 etas given and failed to show up. After third no show would not answer phone for erie. Never could get through to company personally and inbox was full.

DO NOT USE. The wait for the tow was 2 hours I agreed with roadside service to use them. After 3 hours and multiple phone calls with no answer I called roadside back. After the roadside service could not get them they cancelled and got me another company. After that delay my car can not be fixed today and I will have to get an uber to work tomorrow. Terrable company 1 star for this review is way to many.

Roadside assistance routed my two request to this company. 90min wait and no call, no update. Called them directly once the roadside firm provided my their number and they did not answer multiple repeated calls (In addition, their voicemail was full.) @AllState Roadside Assistance - pull this provider from your approved tow providers.

This company was dispatched by Chrysler Roadside Assistance to tow my car and gave a 75-minute ETA. Every time I called them, I was forwarded to voicemail. The Roadside Assistance couldn’t get in touch with them and dispatched another tow company after 2 hours of waiting. FOUR hours after the original dispatch both tow companies arrived. When I asked the driver of Stirling what happened and why it took so long, he told me that he was in Atlantic City and got the order to come get me 40 minutes earlier (3 hours and 20 minutes after the initial dispatch), and he came straight to me. No one should ever have to wait this long for a tow. They shouldn’t be in business and shouldn’t be on any Roadside Assistance network for their unreliability and unprofessionalism. If you can’t get a truck to stranded person in a reasonable time frame, be honest and don’t accept the job.

This towing comany service is TERRIBLE, Ive been waiting for my car to get towed to the dealer since 8:45am the estimated arrival time was 10:30 its now 11:30 and I NOT yet heard from them about if they were behind schedule, then when you call the number thry provide they are sending you to the DAMN answer machine... I wouldnt reccomend them to pick a powerwheel. Needless to day my car is still here and probably wont make it to the dealer in time. I cant deal with UNPROFESSIONAL FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy did have someone there on time for my arrival. I found it strange the worker took a photo of my license on his cell phone to his boss to use my credit card. Twenty four hours I got a fraud alert of an $1800 attempted purchase at Walmart. Maybe a coincidence but the photo of my license just gave me a bad vibe. Otherwise the owner was nice enough..gave me directions and had the guy waiting for me. I was in and out in5 minutes. The worker never posted a number at the location of car so it took two hours to find which towing place had my car and it was 40 minutes away

Waited 2.5 hours for them to come, kept saying they were held up by traffic. The whole time Google maps showed 20-25 minute trip time. In the end they never showed up. Liars that will hopefully be out of business soon. I would suggest everyone avoid them at all costs. If your roadside repair service/insurance says they are coming demand a different towing company.

Had omstar roadside assistance contact them to pick me up. I even spoke to mike. The phone answering guy. He assured me.... Pick up time was sceduled came and went. Couodnt get ahold of them. I guess tow companies dont need contractswith onstar or insurance companies. DisgustedEven let him know i would tip the driver.

I scheduled a pickup from this towing company from 8-8:30am. They repeatedly said they were going to be there in 30 min and were on their way. 30 min go by and still weren’t there. I would call them, another 30 min... they eventually came around 10:45am.

This is a tow predictor company that tows away vehicles illegally. A law suit is in the making since they practice illegal towing activities. There are numerous articles qoting the district attorney to fight these companies. Stay away.
