Undergoing renovation due to multiple flooding incidents. Current facility is more expeditionary until renovations are completed on new facility in early 2018. The staff are great, and facilities are adequate. You can grab some food or catch a nap if youve got a long layover. Theyve even got a stash of personal hygiene supplies to freshen up. Should be back to 5 stars after renovations are complete.

This is one of the best USOs I have been. I live in Philadelphia and utilize these services every time I fly. The bathrooms are clean, and a much better option than the public restrooms. I can step away from my bag without worrying about it(with in reason). The complimentary snacks make the trip here worth it alone. If you are in the service, definistop here.

They have a sleeping room for males and one for females, showers, private bathrooms, a theater room and a very nice lounge area. The sleeping rooms are dark and quiet with twin bunk beds and at least the womens had a pack and play in it. They had hot foot and wawa coffee, as well as stocked coolers of drinks. Theres also a play area for kids. The people working were very friendly and helpful. This USO is very nice and open 24/7! Highly recommend it!

So grateful for the USO and all of the amazing volunteers and hard working staff. I usually can get into any USO without any issues and enjoy the amenities. However at this USO I was informed the sleep rooms are only for active duty. I can totally understand why but find it semi rude that reservist are not given the same treatment. I was given a strange look at the front desk as if I had asked for something ridiculous. I spend the majority of my time on active orders and like most reservist and still deploy so.... what is the exact reason why? I found it odd since last time I was here that was not the policy. Thank you for your continued service to military members but I think that point should be changed.

A fantastic USO where the worst thing I can say is that its a bit of a hike if youre flying out of the A/B gates even though given the layout of the Philly Airport theres no place that would be perfect for everyone. If you are a retiree and flying on Tuesdays you are not allowed to use this USO because the Coast Guard brings its recruits in that day. In the 31 years of military duty, 7 years of retirement and as a USO volunteer I have never seen any eligible person not allowed into a USO facility with proper identification. Had I known this I would have connected through Charlotte NC and spend my 4 hour lay over there. I noticed other comments concerning retiree limits like you cant stay over night even though its a 24 hour facility with bunking available. Im curious what other restrictions does this facility place on military retirees ?

I am prior Air Force, currently working with the Department of the Army...I was not allowed inside because I didnt Retire from the military. My VA disability ID was not an acceptable form of ID to show I served in the military. I have never been turned away from a USO any where in the country. Very sad that the USO at the Philadelphia airport doesnt recognize ALL prior service veterans. Word of advice to veterans seeking to relax in the Philadelphia USO...they will embarass and disrespect you if you are not retired. Very disappointed to say the least !

Being a servicemember who travels a lot with itineraries being a SNAFU, I love that they are always available when I need them. The staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Finger food and drinks available with plenty of coffee. Internet access and TV. Computers with printing capability. I didnt even need all of it but it was there and available if I needed.Highly-recommended if you are an SM. You will need a military ID to get in.There are signs to lead you to the USO and it is past security, so youll have to go through the TSA gamut. It is located upstairs right at the intersection.

The staff member at this USO was very rude and disrespectful. Landing in Philadelphia after a rough plane ride, I collected my bags and looked for the USO in order to get some hours of rest before I headed to my duty station. Not realizing that the USO was past security, I was instructed to find the information desk further down the concourse. When I found it, the lady at the desk asked a few questions and picked up the phone. Immediately after someone answered, she forced the phone into my hand. Trying to figure out what was going on, I spoke with a staff member from the USO who was very aggressive and not understanding. She informed me of how much of an inconvenience it was for her to keep escorting service members to the USO and told me to wait for more people to show up before she would get me. After I hung up the phone, I went to look for a seat against the wall. 10 minutes later, she shows up and rushes me to put my luggage into a locker. As we started to walk towards security, she tells me some excuse of why she is so frustrated. As we are going through security, they shut down the X-ray that she had her boxes on. Immediately, she jumps on to the TSA members case and starts shouting at him. Finally, we are through security and make it to the USO. As I’m checking in to the USO she tells me that I am their prisoner and that I can’t go anywhere. In addition to all this, she was giving out food, that was donated to the USO, to airport employees. In my opinion, this lady was a very bad representation of the USO and what it stands for.

This is the best USO I have ever experienced. It was recently removed to this new location in the airport. It has a plethora of plug-ins (USB and classic) for your phone, laptop, tablet, etc. Theres two tvs that can play different things, theres an area for kids, the kitchen is connected to the common area - water, food (sandwiches, hot dogs, cookies, spaghetti/chilli), juice, candy. Theres a small game room area, the bathroom has small toiletry packs. They also have bunks you can sleep in and get a wake-up call. Only issue that arises is if you cant check your luggage for your flight, then you have to travel with everything to terminal E, go through security and then lock your items up in terminal E in the USOs gear locker. In summary, this USO is pretty much amazing.

First time at the Philly USO was WONDERFUL! staff was super helpful and so inviting. The place is so spacious with so many amenities (lounge chairs, couches, Xbox tv, sleeping bunks, and more)My second time was at the end of a long trip and I had to wait for my ride and I was with my partner and they would NOT let him in even with my military ID (he didnt have one). We were literally just there a week ago and everything was fine.I asked for the gentleman (older, red hair) to show me where that rule was and he just stuttered around and kept saying sorry thats our rule when I know it is not. If you claim the person with you then they are allowed in with you.Im tired of the power trips and bullsh*t for what is supposed to be a relaxing and stress free stay in the lounge.Since Im not petty I am giving it 4 stars but just be aware that they can be frustrating and RUDE.

On our way out treatment was great. We dropped mom in Okc and took the 545 am out of OKC. All i wanted was a place to feed my 4 allergy son but his id expired last year so they wouldnt let us in. Mom did 26 years USAF Ret, and somehow subway was more willing to let my son sit so he could pull out his breakfast out of his backpack. So a minor child of a 26 year vet was turned away. I think you missed the mission today.
