This is a wonderful establishment. It is a place for families to go when they have sick children. The family does not get charged whatsoever for their stay or their food. If you would like to donate to any type of Charity the Ronald McDonald House is one of the best in philadelphia. Keep up the good work five stars all the way.

Beautiful people, beautiful house. I’m here from Florida. My daughter just had surgery at Shriners. This place has been a safe haven and a godsend. The staff are amazing and accommodating. After long hours at the hospital it is wonderful to come to a place that feels like home where I can have a hot shower and rest.

Having volunteered there last week we got to tour this beautiful facility. They do an amazing job of helping families of hospitalized children have a home-like atmosphere at a nominal fee.Our family made dinner for residents last week. If you can do it, consider volunteering... youll be glad you did.

The most rewarding feeling is being a guest chef. Preparing good food; serving the families & talking with them is just a reality check- how blessed we are. My niece had Spina Bifida and this is my daughter & I way of giving tribute to her. She passed in 2005 & my daughter began with a previous job(5yrs) & I over see the guest chef now through my church (Beloved Saint John Evangelistic Church). We have been guest chef for the past 6-8 years & we absolutely love it!!! I’ve even become friends with one of the families from Australia. Being guest chef is the best!!!

If every place should get 10 Stars this is the place wonderful people who truly care about children if ever you wanted to do a fundraiser for children this is the place to do it for. If you were like me in the past and truly dislike McDonalds food disconnect yourself from the the name because they truly do wonderful work for children.
