Dealt with Mark there and received outstanding service. I bought a Riccar Supralite and needed to bring it in about 6 months later because we had caused the vacuum to overheat because of an overfull bag. It had ruined the brushroll. He found a replacement and installed it and even though I was willing to pay for it he did not charge me but instead sent the part back to the manufacturer because the vacuum is under warranty. This is the kind of small business that should be supported; Ive received consistently excellent service there.

This shop saved my vacuum cleaner from the trash can multiple times! Scott and his staff repaired my machine after the cleaning lady severed the cord. The cord was replaced on the same day and the vacuum was back to normal. On another occasion, some pine needles got sucked into the unit and the machine stopped working. I was certain that my investment had gone out the window, but Modern Vac and Sew educated me about proper usage and replaced the belt extending the life on the unit for a very minimal fee. There are many other examples I could provide. If you are having ANY issues at all with your vacuum cleaner, please visit this specialty shop. They will repair your machine at a fraction of what it would cost to buy a brand new machine. They will also protect your investment by answering ANY question you may have.

The worst service ever. I took a Bissell there and charged services fee. They tell you theyll call and never do. Each time I called your informed waiting on another part and they will call you back. Not true to their word. They threw my Bissell out without my permission.

I’ve had excellent sales and service for most of the time. The last Vac I purchased is a different brand than I normally brought. I’ve owned and had service two Simplicity hi-end vacuums. Excellent machines for 15+ years. Last year the machine I traded in for another brand. It was touted as an equally good vacuum as my Simplicity. The problems With this machine began @ 1 month after purchase. I was shown the reset button and told I was outside the warranty by one day. I’ve had it for @ a year, and it never fails to stop in the middle of its use.I’m angry with myself for falling for the Okie-Dokie.

This place is great. You bring your vacuum or sewing machine to them. Then when you get it back its like new. Only for a small price,or you can exchange them for money off for a new vaccum or sewing machine. Plus the people who operate the store will work with you on almost anything. Plus they have all sizes of bags for whatever vacuum you have. Plus mine was a Dyson and believe me they didnt rip me off the other guy doesnt know what he was talking about. My Dyson was returned to me like new. I went up to the store again just to look around, and found out they also rent the rug doctor rug cleaning machine lower than any of the supermarkets around here do. Plus they also sell all the solutions at comparable prices if not lower than the supermarkets have. I cant recommend this place enough. I have been going there since my grandmother first took me there years ago.

This place is great if you need your current vacuum repaired! I haven’t had my Dyson cleaned in years and took it there recently and they replaced all the prices that needed it, cleaned out the hose, and the entire vacuum for about 1/3 the price of a good vacuum cleaner. The gentleman in the store is very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend!

Very pleased. They do charge a small fee of 20 bucks to look at your machine. I think its a reasonable amount of money to have a qualified human assess your vacuum for repairs. They let you apply the $20 it to the repair cost or to a new machine if you decide that the repair estimate is not worth it. My repair was only 69 bucks. I am totally pleased with the machines performance and the service from these folks.

I took in a Janome sewing machine with an error message on the front panel. After a couple of weeks I got a call saying they needed the service manual before they could diagnose it. I, being a generous guy and good at ignoring red flags, got on the internet, found the service manual myself, printed it out and dropped it off, instead of asking why a service company didnt have/couldnt get a service manual. They called in another week or so to say the machine had a bad circuit board, and repair would be $600+. I paid their diagnosis fee, picked up the machine, and took it to authorized dealer service in King of Prussia, who replaced a fuse to correct the problem and tuned up the machine for $150.

Costs $30 to have them look at your vacuum, and this gets taken off your total when you have them fix it. I recently paid $80 total to have them getting mine in working order.I never review places, but had to in order to help boost their rating. The people are are sweet, and yes, it costs money to pay a human to fix things. But, fewer people understand the value of fixing things these days and prefer to buy something shiny and new. I probably could have found a vacuum on Craigslist for what it cost to fix it, but then what would have happened to my broken one? If we dont have people like this around, youre gonna have to learn to fix stuff yourself.

Very disappointed! They tried to pull a fast one over my elderly aunt whose vacuum cord wouldnt extend & they quoted $$$ for a new part as nothing else could be done. It was just jammed; took me 30 seconds to fix myself!

Decent customer service and it should be since the vacuum I bought was the most expensive one Ive ever owned. Recently I took it in for repairs. They waived the $20 service fee and told me they would take care of everything through the warranty I had on it. Not the most convenient location but at least its accessible off 76.

I took my moms old Kenmore in and they cleaned it and serviced it for $75, which is about average. It works beautifully and we have no complaints.I brought in my old Singer Fashionmate, which is a very basic flatbed machine, for a tune-up. It took three weeks, the belts were not changed and it looked as though the machine had been dipped in oil. The bottom of the carry case had 1/8 of oil in it, there was oil on the bobbin thread and in the bobbin case, oil dripping down the needle. I was very disappointed in the tune-up, which now costs about $85.

Andorra Shopping Center location are dyson crooks. I dropped off my dyson only to have you guys charge me $30 bucks and lie to me that the motor is shot. Took it a real dyson location for a $11 belt. Offering me to fix my perfectly good motor at $160 is a scam. See you in chapter 11.
