Would definitely recommend them! They came out for bird nesting I had outside of my home. They were fast, efficient and very affordable! 70% cheaper than Terminex and they did more than expected to prevent future nesting !

Initial phone call returned promptly and someone came to the house the next day to review and provide estimate. The technician who provided the estimate was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He was also on time. Two weeks later service was provided in the timeframe communicated. A different person, polite and efficient.
I have been a very satisfied and happy customer of Western Pest-Philadelphia for nearly a decade. They have addressed every single pest issue I’ve had whenever needed and their annual maintenance program ensures we are pest-free for my family which includes a toddler and dog (they use safer treatments with my child and dog in mind). We have been using Western Pest Services for the past few years and we are happy with their service.Marc is our technical and he is very professional and helpful.We live near the woods so we always have critters trying to get into our home or our trash. Marc established ways to keep them out of our home so that we can live mouse free.Marc also helped determine WHERE they were coming in and he put foam in the holes. This helped a ton.We definitely see an improvement. We know that living near the woods we will always have some type of critter so having Western Pest Service on a maintenance plan is a must.They always show up as promised and when we need extra/early visits they always come as expected.Ill definitely use them again.
I have had the pleasure of working with Joe Schmidt regarding ongoing pest control, semi-annual canine bed bug inspections and treatment for our six on-campus university resident communities, totaling 3000 bed-spaces, for five years.Joe and the service technicians are always quick to respond to our needs, while also being thorough in their treatment. The Western staff are also very knowledgeable regarding any issues we bring to them, and are excellent at educating their customers through trainings both on and off site, which we appreciate as it allows us to relay accurate information to our residents and their families.Our semi-annual canine bed bug inspections take place in all bed spaces during a very short turn-around time twice a year, between semesters. Vicki has been wonderful in working with us to schedule multiple teams of inspectors at once, which then allows time for follow-up treatment if needed during that short window of time.I appreciate our relationship with Joe and the rest of the team at Western, and am happy to recommend them.

The only reason I gave Western one star is because I couldnt post this with zero stars. Because of Westerns incompetence, I lived a three month long bed-bug nightmare. Starting July 9, 2019, I was getting bitten with no answers. Western came to my apt twice to inspect my apt – on July 12 and Aug 13. Both times, Western gave me the all clear. I googled everything under the sun and went to two doctors to try to figure out what else it could be (eczema, allergies, scabies?). Finally, on September 30, we found two live bed bugs. Though not in any way comforted by this, I at least thought we finally had an identifiable problem with a known solution. We had Western come out to treat October 1. This was already frustrating because Western refused to communicate with me directly, and would only communicate with the manager of my building. Sure, the manager is the one footing the bill, but I’m the one who needs to prepare for the visit, and I’m the one who needs to know what to do after the visit. Nothing. And even when the manager of my building – who had to act as the middleman – tried to reach out to Western to get me information, it was like pulling teeth to get a response. And when the person in charge did respond, her responses were curt and disinterested, as if she could not be bothered with responding to these questions. During the October 1 visit, Western told me that there were no signs of bed bugs at any life stage and no identifiable markings that would usually be present. Well, we found a bug a few days later. Even though Western was coming out for a second treatment on October 8 (protocol), I was desperate for some sort of answer (other than that the bed-bugs were coming out of thin air). I emailed Prodigy that Saturday morning (Oct 5) to get a quote for their service, not expecting to hear from them until Monday morning. Well, they called me back right away and spoke with me that morning for at least 15 minutes --- more time than Western would ever give me. Western came out for a second treatment October 8. Again, they told me that they found no signs of bed bug activity at any stage of life. I was told that despite the fact that we found a live bed bug (actually, by that point it was three), they definitely were not established in my apt. On Wed, Oct 9, Prodigy came to my apt. They were in my apt for about 10-15 minutes when they found where the bugs were harboring (underneath the slats on my bed-frame -- and the only reason it took 10-15 mins is because they had to remove the slats with a screwdriver to confirm). Not only did Western not look there, but they didn’t treat there during either visit - so the problem was never going to go away. Thankfully, Prodigy came out on Oct. 10 (the day after their inspection) to treat and do the job in one visit that Western could not accomplish in at least four visits. The people at Prodigy have made themselves available via email, call, text anytime I have had a question. I finally feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that this problem is going to go away – no thanks to Western. After this entire saga, my only regret is that I didnt know about Prodigy earlier, because then I could have called them right away instead of wasting my time on Western and enduring three months of hell.
I have 2 accounts with Western Pest Services. Mark services both properties and I am very pleased. His work ethics, job performance and professional mannerisms is why I have had the services for over 5 years. He is very courteous and respectful to me and my mother who cccupies one of the residences. Most of all Mark gets the job done and doesn’t stop until those vermits are GONE!!!Thank you for the opportunity to let you how much I appreciate Mark’s dedication and how much he has improved my quality of life.
