If you care for your child, do NOT bring them here. This place is very poorly run, which could probably be blamed on the horrible management. A family member of mine expressed their concerns to me when they brought their child here. They brought their child here with the expectation of a safe and caring environment for their child to grow and learn in, but they received anything but that. Their child would often cry saying that some of the instructors were “mean” to them. This child has severe anxiety and it is very obvious that some of the instructors here are not trained to properly handle children like them. It also seems like this place has a high employee turnover rate and any good instructor is quickly flushed out. They are a very shy child and to hear that these so called “instructors” were mean to them breaks my heart and angers me to my core. I also found out that even though this company has an Korean name, the owner is a white person. As an Asian person, I find it disrespectful that a white man is hiding behind a Korean name. Overall, do NOT bring your child here, unless you want to hand over your child to poorly trained and a poorly managed facility.

I wanted my daughter who is autistic to join this center for anything they can offer she is non verbal. The person I spoke with on the phone regarding a meet spoke very highly of this place and how accepting it is of all kids on the spectrum. After taking off work early (losing money) to take her there since they rescheduled our first appt then spending Uber to get there and back we left dissatisfied because they couldnt accept her she is not disabled and very able to learn this kind of skill but with plenty of practice. Unfortunately there wasnt anything they could offer us. I wish places existed for our babies on the spectrum. 😞 They didnt even want to try for 5 mins.

We love Zhang Sah! My two kids have been going there for the past two years and it has been wonderful. The staff is awesome and am so grateful to them especially during these hard times. As a working parent, I’m appreciative for all of their hard work while still keeping everyone safe!

Great dojo. Marcas is a great instructor and I would highly recommend for adults and kids who are interested in MMA. Very good curriculum that covers a wide range of mixed martial arts.

I have been training at Zhang Sah for approximately 10 years and think it is amazing. Both of my children were part of the afterschool program and also trained in martial arts here. The staff and instructors are always kind and helpful. The training is fantastic and I would recommend to everyone. Im looking forward to continuing to train for at least another 10 years, and hope that my kids will come back to the dojo to train with me.

I love this place. My son has been going for 5 months. The people are very nice and always friendly. I read in another persons review that they did not like an instructor, Marquis. Well, I can tell you that cant be true. From my experience, Marquis is patient and fun. His classes are always very engaging for the young kids. He keeps them moving, interested and always happy and proud of themselves on the way out. Marquis must really enjoy teaching to be that good at it.

We have had an extremely negative experience with this organization. First, they disciplined my 7- or 8-year old son for not bringing his uniform to the after-school program (it was my fault for not packing it); he came home in tears. Then they billed us for more than A YEARS WORTH OF FEES and refused to refund the more than $1000 of our money which we had paid for no services. They said we had only suspended our membership temporarily, and started billing us without any monthly statements or anything like that. To my mind, you dont take $1000 of peoples money if they didnt intend to pay you.My opinion is that these guys talk the talk about honor and values but dont walk the walk.

Over 20 years ago I stepped into my first martial arts class that was held in the basement of a South Philadelphia church. The instructor of that class was Zhang Sahs founder, Sal Sandone. The instruction that I received while a student of his laid the foundation for what has become a passion of mine for over two decades. I still utilize principles that were taught to me during my days as a fresh white belt.

My son has been going since age 5 and he is now 11. Zhang Sah has become family-like. Besides learning different martial arts techniques - he has also learned other valuable life tools including leadership, confidence, teamwork, and more. I would definitely recommend this program.

Zhang Sah is a non-profit martial arts organization that has been educating the bodies and strengthening the minds of children and adults since 1997. Zhang Sah does not require families to agree to long-term contracts for children. Zhang Sah offers 30 day ongoing month-to-month enrollments. Zhang Sah does not have any testing fees or hidden fees and there is no up-selling of membership. Customers are able to cancel for any reason whatsoever as long as the account is not behind. It is our opinion, that social media should not be used as leverage to not have to honor the terms of the agreement. We loved having Hanna’s child train with us and they are always welcome back.

The instructor name Marquis really hates my daughter, he dont have patience and always embarrassed my little girl to the group. He pulled out my child several times, I really disappointed and not interested to this karate class anymore.
