Miserable owners and workers. I asked about how long to dry standard load of wash. their answer I dont know. 5 minute 25 cents. the proceeded to get upset that i even asked. Do notcome if you seek ang guidance. Merely robots who arent here to help. Ignorant and rude to a first timer.

I came in with two rugs that needed to be cleaned from vomit, and they were so helpful and friendly. They were very honest about what they could do to fix the rugs and what might happen to them in the cleaning process (shrink, color change). The rugs are clean now and I am so happy with their service.

Amazing experience with getting a bridesmaid dress hemmed and straps taken in! I’m bad at planning and waited until the last minute and She was able to get it done in a week!! Dress was perfectly hemmed for my height and the straps couldn’t have fit better!

THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS DRY CLEANER ARE MIRACLE WORKERS!!! I stained a red silk shirt with makeup and they got the stain out - the shirt looks brand new!!! I had no hope when I dropped it off and they completely fixed it! Cheap prices, great service! I highly recommend!

They are dirty !!!! They wash all your clothes together including whites my laundry smell nasty and looked dirty specially whites!!! They charge alot and dont use detergent or bleach they take they time to bring you your clothes then complain when they call you out of the blue and say they want to drop it off they are lazy dont want to come to your door if u live in a apartment they charge more and still dont want to do it this place is very dirty your clothes will be more dirty when u get them then they were also my clothes are missing and other people laundry including underwear were mix in my clothes that was not mine they are very dirty!!

We were in town for a vacation and didn’t want to pay hotel prices to get our clothes cleaned. This place was nearby and ended up being a great find. Lots of machines, a coin changer, and single serve laundry detergent, plus a couple of seats for waiting.

My friend have been coming here over a year now. The facility needs a little maintenance done on it. The staff are super nice. Nice enough to let me have my cat with me even though a customer complained. The washer and dryer are fast & they provide long folding tables . Plus plus ! Again, just needs maintenance work.

Superb Customer Service/ Great Service!!!I had THEE best experience with the pick-up and delivery service. It was super convenient, time and cost efficient. They also provided me with a quick turnaround as same day! Upon calling the women who I spoke with was kind and professional along with the carrier coming to retrieve and drop-off my clothes.It’s clean, perfectly folded and wrapped in plastic to stay clean, and the prices are reasonable. In all, it was a great experience and I will definitely be using their “Delivery” service again!Please support this business as they do aim to please and the customer service is A1!!! The U-Do-It Laundromat at 1515 provides the CC community an excellent service provider for its laundry and dry cleaning needs. The venue is large and spacious which eliminates crowding thats often typical of other laundry outfits and it is furnished with ample washers (particularly single load) and dryers for customers even at its most busy times. Ive found the staff to be courteous, attentive, hardworking, witty and determined to provide their customers with a pleasurable experience and I am delighted they are there and highly recommend their business.

First, excellent customer service. Theres never a broken machine. Thats my neighborhood laundromat. The work thats done on your dry cleaning is remarkable. They follow directions thoroughly. I have used the coin-op laundry, dry cleaning, and sewing/alterations aspects of this business. They provide all overall good quality work, are reliable, and set fair prices for the area.I used the coin-op machines to do my laundry when my apartment building was down to one shared machine and occasionally to do larger items, like bed spreads. They have fair prices and convenient hours plus larger machines than most apartment buildings. The dry cleaning service offers quick return and better prices than several places around it. The alterations and sewing service has been very helpful. They have done some fast-turn around repairs for me. I had a hole in a pair of suit pants that I needed for a wedding. I had to travel for the wedding. I didnt discover the hole until the weekend before I had to travel. I dropped it off on a Saturday afternoon and had it back by Tuesday morning. They did a great job repairing it well, quickly and durably, at a very inexpensive price.

So ill say I’ve grown to love this place and put a lot of trust in them. I have a lot of delicate expensive clothes I take there and never had one issue.A lot of my garments are Japanese garments, which requires very special care and Kiko (the owner) who happens to be Japanese gets it. Her staff is amazing and it feels like that classic city neighborhood cleaners/laundry place. I would recommend taking your garments there to be serviced. They are never late and always gets the job done. 5 stars

We do not have to use public wash/dry facilities, so what we have to say is limited to the custom tailoring service offered by this location. In this respect, the Japanese co-owner (apparently a law graduate from an elite Japanese university) has performed excellent work for both myself and my wife (about ten jobs in all). Her work is reasonably priced, precise, careful, and detail oriented, a cut above other so-called tailoring services in our Center City area, where weve lived long enough to have tried many of them. For a couple of rather complicated waist adjustment jobs (pants and skirt), she seemed to really understand how to make the material conform to the body, while her general attitude remained friendly and communicative, making it a pleasure to deal with her. In light of this, we might suggest that customers of this business should bring any concerns to her attention, rather than to anyone else. Also, from what we could see, the place always looks super clean and efficiently managed.

Friendly, clean, affordable, efficientSelf-serve: the machines are new (within a year of this posting), the place is always clean, and no matter how busy they are, I can always find machines to do my laundry-- Ive never had to worry or call ahead. There is comfortable seating and wifi if you want to stay while you do your laundry.Full-service: I started doing drop-off because the price is so cheap, its worth it as a time saver. When you factor in the cost of detergent and softener, its really only about $10-15 dollars more for them to do it for you. And then you have your whole day free, and it comes back neatly sorted and folded. Laundry dropped off before 10am will be finished by 5pm same day! They also have a pick-up and delivery service, which I think is free-- all you have to do is call them. I used it once when I was sick, but I usually like to drop off because they are so friendly, I genuinely enjoy stopping in to say hello.Tailoring: Yukiko is an excellent seamstress. Ive had favorite t-shirts with holes in them fixed up like new. And they do amazing work with alterations, too.I cannot recommend this place enough. I ripped my Canada goose jacket on my desk chair at the office brought it here and they fixed it in 2 day and looks brand new again. you cant even tell i ripped it, they did an amazing job on the repair.

Anna is an amazing seamstress! I took a jumpsuit that needed to be hemmed and I also needed material added to the back of the neck area to elongate the halter top. She was able to pull off this tricky task and made it look amazing! I could tell she takes pride in her work and is a true professional. She did such a great job, I will definitely go back if I ever need anything dry cleaned or altered. Plus, shes so sweet and it was reasonably priced for the work she did!

Horrible customer service. To be avoided at all costs. After reading good reviews I figured Id give this company a try for pick-up/drop-off laundry service. I scheduled an appointment for a Monday morning and specifically told the operator that I leave for work at 8 am and would need my laundry picked up before then. I said this because I would not be able to carry my work bags AND my laundry down the stairs once it was time to leave for work. Low and behold, on Monday morning the driver arrived a few minutes after 8:00 am (this is after I called to check in once it got around 7:30 am, so Im assuming they dispatched him last minute). So I had to cancel and reschedule for the next morning. The next morning the driver was a no-show, no-call. I called U Do-It inquiring about the no-show and they casually said that the driver was doing other pick-ups and wouldnt be coming. They acknowledged that I had a standing appointment and gave a half apology. Thats all. They didnt offer a concession, they didnt offer to pick it up another day and do my laundry at a discounted price. Nothing. They were just kind of like oops. Totally unprofessional and not worth the hassle of possibly going days without your expected clean clothes. For your own good, please use another laundry service!

Great Service! I needed alterations to a uniform suit jacket...took it to the best who told mevery difficult, $80, ready in a week. went to pick it up 10 days later...oh we are very busy, havent gotten to it yet...so I took it to a neighborhood guy who literally rendered the garment unwearable. Finally took it to U-Do-It...better than new at 1/3 the price...so pleased, really nice people.

After getting turned down at two other tailors, I brought a gown here on a Thursday at 5pm. I desperately needed it taken up before a wedding that Saturday. The staff at U-Do-It we’re SO nice and helpful. They fixed the dress (perfectly) and steamed it in less than 24 hrs. They called me to pick it up that Friday afternoon. All for only $35. Needless to say I’ll be going here for all my dry cleaning/ dress altering needs!!

This place used to be our go-to spot for laundry. The staff was friendly and we could pop in and out to do our laundry while we had dinner at the bar next door. We went there every Monday night for over five years. Since management changed last year weve experienced nothing but problems. Their pricing is almost double. They close up shop a solid 10-15 minutes before 10. They need to have some sort of warning sign for their customers if theyre not going to keep strict hours. Or maybe- they should just be there when they say theyre going to be there, you know like every other business in America... My husband and I have both gotten attitude from the new staff as well. Theres never a good reason to treat any customer, let alone long standing loyal customers like we are with the dismissive snark weve heard. Tonight will be our last time going here, its not worth the grief. Any newbies to the area should be warned...

I get things dry cleaned here regularly for my work and they always do a wonderful job! They always have my things ready when I need them and they are so nice and courteous :)

I get the wash and leave dry and leave.but these people take it to the extreme.now you cant even fold.Then that should go for the ones who work there.put up a sign..we will wash and dry but NOT fold.All the other places dont have an issue.so sad.

The washing machines are clean and efficient with exceptionally hot dryers that significantly reduce the drying time. The two ladies that are always at the location are friendly and helpful with any questions that you might have.

Took a dress shirt in to have it “dry cleaned”. When I go to pick it up they washed and pressed it and then proceeded to argue with me “that’s what you wanted“. Avoid this place at all cost! They are incapable of listening to what their customers request. Never going back! Horrible!

I have been going to this place for years. They have altered my uniform pieces several times, and as for the comment on the dryers set to the lowest temp, what are you smoking! Youre suppose to have the option of setting you dryer temp which theirs do. I cant imagine going someplace and tossing my stuff into the dryers with only a HIGH or HOT only option. You must not have delicates. Three different types of washer, and plenty of dryers. Ive never had a problem here.As for the guy who commented that he spent extra money on dryers that didnt work...you may want to do one of two things...select HIGH to dry your clothes...or open your mouth and tell the woman behind the counter. Anytime there is a problem they will reimburse you on any defective machine issue.

My suit ripped before a funeral, and I could not find a tailor open on Sunday. After finally finding this place, the proprietor fixed my suit immediately and refused to take any money. This place is run by great people. Thanks!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. gave them a brand new CK shirt that I wore once which had a foundation stain, ruined my shirt and it came back with black stains and they were not ready to fix it and deliver it for free. I dont live in this city and had to spend more on Uber and buy a new shirt. Highly recommend you give your clothes to another place.

The pick up and delivery service is a little pricey - expect to pay around $50 for two loads. The customer service was great though, and worth it if you dont want to spend 2 hours in some laundromat.

I dropped off more than a season of dry cleaning and a whole bunch of post-Black Friday alterations, all at once. The service, including the fittings, were accommodating and quick. Everything was done to my exact(ing) specifications on time and for a very reasonable cost. I have tried a number of other dry cleaners in the Dupont/Adams Morgan area and U-Do-It Laundry & Dry Cleaning is by far the best.

Came here for many years; almost seven years.. well before I met my wife. We did our laundry EVERY Monday for almost 6 of those years - ask the owner of Jose Pistolas nearby. Spent hundreds of dollars in dry cleaning and tailoring... and I will NEVER be coming back. The first time they did it to me years ago, the lovely Korean owner told me with enthusiasm that she was sorry and it wouldnt happen again. Fool me twice.. this time a crabby old korean man that now closes weeknights (whom I watched degrade an old black man who needed assistance with the driers), CLOSED THE LAUNDROMAT 15 MINUTES EARLY. I have THREE LOADS OF LAUNDRY sitting there right now. He closed at 9:45, which means I now have to wake up an hour early to get here when they open tomorrow so no one steals my clothes, and he cost his employer a 7-year customer.
