Id give this place 0 stars if it wasnt for the pleasant and helpful attendant on duty when we first arrived. Our washer broke mid cycle so we had a very wet crocheted blanket that needed washing along with lots of other laundry. Not having a lot of experience or recent experience going to the laundromat, I needed a patient and helpful attendant and I got that. If I was just rating her, Id give her 5 stars. This place needs a serious make over. Many washers and dryers were broken or looked very worn. For Christs sake, many dryers needed tape to help them stay closed. The machines are not clean around the dispensers. I know these things are heavily used but who wants to touch dispensers that are gunky. If we had more time and not so much to wash, Id have gone to another place. We were feeling quite desperate at the time. The place is very tight so not easy to move around other people when needing to move your laundry from washer to dryer. I mean literally, its difficult and you will have to wait for others to move to get to your machines. Maybe this is normal but if so, please Home Depot hurry up with my new washing machine. Our clothes came out ok. The very wet blanket smelled great out of the washer but had a strange smell out of the dryer. Not sure why but wish I had brought it home and used my own dryer. We had a load of towels that did not get rinsed well and I used the extra rinse cycle. But went to the dryer they did. There was a pushy customer who hovered over the only 2 oversized washers they had, which I was using at $9 a pop. She kept telling me she needed to use them. Great, you can have them as soon as the cycles are done. 1 minute left on one and 4 on the other. Then when they were done she was standing right in front of them so I kindly asked her to move so I could get my things out and she said again how she needed to use them. Wow! This was funny and crazy. In light of COVID and the current uptick of cases youd think people would have on masks, but no one really did except my family and one other customer. Before we left, there was a staff switch over and the second lady had a terrible, terrible, hacking, and phlegmy cough and she was NOT wearing a mask. We tossed the rest of our laundry in the basket and got out of there. We have one person in our home who cannot receive the vaccine so we have to be diligent for her. This could be a great place but as of now, I cannot and would not recommend this laundromat to anybody.
Rude and condescending staff. First time I went I was laughed at and made fun of for not knowing how to use their reloadable card system which I have never seen at any other laundromat. If you say hi or bye you may be ignored depending on the mood of the workers that day. Place is also not the cleanest and machines, especially the dryers, do not operate well. The biggest thing for me is the lack of good customer service and disregard for the people supporting your business. I dont mind travelling further to do my laundry. Im definitely not giving anymore of my money to your establishment though. Why pay to be treated like dirt?
Great spot for large laundry load. i have a 50 pounder comforter and used a 75 pounder machine to clean and dry. They have machines of all sizes and are great for all loads.
Clean laundromat, nice new washers, a reward program and I believe the dryers are free with a wash. Also the nicest staff and best customer service anywhere.
To be fair the owner is very welcoming and so nice. However, his employees are where the problem is. They are so rude and unhelpful. They only greet people who they want to greet and help who they want to help. I remember walking in and using the nearest available laundry cart. A few moments later, the employee approached me and asked if she could have her cart back. WHAT? Its your cart? You couldnt find another unused cart? As a customer, I did not expect an employee there to behave like that.Very petty. I would understand if she was in fact using it or had items in the cart, but I promise you it was just under the table waiting to be used. I havent been back since!
Quite possibly the best laundromat in the area...mt airy, chestnut hill, Germantown. Small but clean. Ac, wifi, and they allow to sit while waiting. BTW, the rest facilities are open.
Very friendly, attendant way very helpful.
Honestly, I don’t know how all these 5 stars appeared. I wouldn’t even call this place a laundromat. Over 60 percent of the machines are out of use. I kid you not. Even the snack and soda vending machines are out of order and so is the little disposal where you can buy detergent. There’s no outlets in this place, if you wanted to charge a phone or laptop, and two of my shirts are ruined by detergent, which has never happened to me, and I’ve used the same detergent for years. Like, think of how terrible a laundromat has to be to make a review about how terrible a laundromat is.
Excellent place to your laundry. Be it self-service or drop-off. This place beats them all. They have reduced prices too from Monday to Friday on all washers.Free wifi, well trained staff, clean and safe place.
I have been doing my laundry here for the past 3 years and find that its the best in the area. It has a rewards system, discount days, free WiFi and is very close to both a good pizza place and Chinese restaurant.I have never had a problem with the staff and find them nothing but helpful and attentive. Clean and efficient facility.
I started coming here about 10 years ago when I needed my hip replaced and was unable to do my laundry, at the recommendation of a co- worker. I started using the drop off service, EXCELLENT!!!I have used the facility on my own and it is GREAT, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is clean and the patrons are friendly. I dont live in the area anymore, but, today I am going back to use the drop off service again. Also, what is on your card, stays on your card. I didnt use it for about 3 years and still had $$$ on my card, YEAH!!!
Clean and well kept by workers
Machines are rough on your clothes. Many broken washers. For the money spent using the washing machines, there should be FREE drying as their competition has up the road.
The staff are helpful, they provide a large bin to bring heavy/large items, you can get soap from a vending machine, but the supermarket is parallel to their laundry. They have folding tables and sorting baskets. They recently added an atm machine. They also provide wifi and televisions while you wait.
Very clean, well maintained facility ... helpful and friendly staff
All staff especially laundry attendant Debbie, are very friendly and helpful.
Great, clean place with lots of well maintained machines and friendly service. Safe atmosphere as well.
It was my first time there tonight. The lady at the desk was extremely helpful and laughed jovially at my inability to do laundry :p Definitely going back there, hopefully when this chinese place Ive heard of is open.
