Since the pandemic they have been unresponsive and careless with my cargo. I have been using then 2009 and had only one mishap with lost goods. Now my goods have been lost twice and Ill be seeking another vendor because this isnt back in the days when freight option were limited. Its also quite unfortunate that 3 times my stuff has been lost, its been kids merchandise. I dont want to read too much into this pattern. Worst is no resolution is offered for misplaced good even when the goods are time stamped and signed for by the company.

I’ve always been cautious when it comes to using freight forwarding services because I have had so many bad experiences with many of the ones here over the years but I can say without a doubt that Beltok is the EXCEPTION! Customer service is exceptional, their follow up is amazing, they relate with me like we are have been friends for years and they go over and beyond to accommodate my last minute and sometimes crazy requests. They are patient and that’s important for me. And I like the fact that they are reachable it’s not me talking to someone who has no idea about my shipment every time I call. That personal touch feels nice.Their rates are competitive and they don’t have hidden charges that they “surprise” you with before you can collect your goods. They keep you updated on your shipment. Their shipping speed is also A1 for me which is really important. I’ve never had missing or damaged in transit items before. And I have used them for a while. I don’t even bother trying anywhere else. I have been spreading the gospel to many of my friends who are into the same business like me. I’m not one to leave reviews but when a company or person does the right thing they should be commended.

My experience with Beltok Shipping was horrible. I shipped a barrel with them on November 1, 2018. I had three recipients names on the barrel, including mine, the owner, because I was going to Nigeria on December 3, 2018. The receipt Ola, the C.E.O. gave me in Philadelphia had my name and my contact phone number in Nigeria. Well, when I got to Nigeria, from December 4, 2018 to February 19, 2019, there was no sign of my barrel. I made a total of 12 calls between their Lagos and Philadelphia offices and numerous text messages. The best and regular answers they gave me was that the ship carrying the barrel was being cleared for release by the Nigerian. This happened until February 19, 2019 when I contacted Ola. He angrily rebuked me as if I was a pest and accused me of being responsible for the delay of my barrel. He told me my barrel was out and in Lagos. When the barrel was picked up, they had broken the key and removed numerous items from the barrel including seven solar lights. I realized they were playing with time all along so they can pilfer my barrel while the barrel had been there before mid December, 2018. My take on the whole matter is that the Lagos employees of Beltok Shipping pilfered my belongings. So, beware of this companys Lagos offices operations. Im in the process of getting other aggrieved customers of Beltok Shipping to report their experiences of unjust treatment by this company.

A few minor hiccups here and there probably for reasons beyond their control but overall, they make every effort to deliver on time and Ive received my packages, in Abuja, earlier than expected, more than once. Their prices are also very competitive and they can make a waiver or two if you ask nicely and if someone is in a good mood 😉. When theres an anticipated delay, they would usually inform you even though delivery often still falls within their stated 6 to 8 business days.
