I have known Helen the owner for more than 20 years..she made it possible for me to raise a family working through her agency and she has always looked out for me with good paying jobs when I needed it..She works very hard to match you with an office and has always been very reachable when you need her...Thanks Helen

If you read the other negative reviews, they are spot on. I won’t repeat what others have already addressed, but I couldn’t agree more, and have experienced all of those things at-least once since working for H&R the past 3 years. Save yourself the headache and find work through another agency such as dental power, substi-tooth fairy, ect. Helen is very unprofessional and condescending when an issue arises, and this agency will not play the middle-man for you and will leave you to fend for yourself if an office is late on their payment or has not paid you. They send you to offices that should honestly be shut down, who do not follow proper infection control or OSHA regulations, and who will take advantage of their hygiene temps by over-working and double-booking us. I work to provide the highest quality of care to my patients no matter which office I am at, but when offices force you to have to compromise your moral/ethical values because they’re not giving enough time per patient or double booking or throwing TX into your schedule and treating you like a money making machine, that’s when the line has been crossed. I left a negative review for an office because of this and Helen begged me to take it down, meanwhile here I am still waiting on payment from that office from 3/06/20. I have since started working for another agency that has treated their temps as a priority and make sure we are taken care of, so don’t settle working for an agency like H&R, I wish I switched a long time ago. Being out of school a few years ago I didn’t know any better like I do now.

I am hygienist and have been working for H&R for 20 years almost every week. The most reliable and highly professional temporary placement agency. The staff has always been professional and courteous. If I ever had problems with payment checks, H&R would help me to get paid as soon as possible. The computer support system is amazing. I highly recommend this agency

They are truly wonderful ; consistently going above and beyond to place their temps in offices who pay the best rates and on time. H&R Dental has been around for decades for dental professionals, throughout the years the have proven to be the best temp agency ever!!Thanks so much ladies!!!

I have been working with H&R for many years and I have enjoyed the flexibility to help me manage my personal commitments- I have gained a lot of experience by having the opportunity to work with various practices - highly recommend to others who are looking for a flexible employment option.

By far the WORST agency my husband and I have used in our 26 years of owning a wonderful dental practice. Helen, the owner, is ruthless, conniving, and completely unprofessional. If you’re absolutely desperate and have no choice but to use them, get EVERYTHING in writing or they will scam you for every dime they can! Run....don’t walk to find someone else!

Seriously the worst. Basically expect you to work for free. Do nothing to back you up when you don’t receive a payment. Do not trust them and do not waste your time working with them. There are other agencies like Dental Power etc that actually care about the employee getting paid. We don’t have time to work for free!!! I have yet to receive a check from April from an office I temped at and when times like this happen, H&R stops responding and does nothing to help. Lol thank you agency for us putting our trust in you pointlessly. Again, do not work through them. Zero stars.

Never had a problem with them until now!! I’ve worked for them for years. Recently I took a job that they placed me at. Unbeknownst to me the other offices were under staffed and the environment was toxic!! I couldn’t work in the hostile work environment so I quit! Well I guess Helen didn’t get the rest of that good contract money so she’s playing with my food and shelter. For the last two months every girl in the office has been telling me they don’t have anything!! When I call Helen she’s NEVER IN THE OFFICE! they sent me to a office that didn’t pay me for two weeks. They did nothing to help me. I had to basically call and get my check myself. I switched my Direct Deposit! Well I was told it didn’t go through and they cut me a check. I went down to the office on my lunch break from an assignment I got myself!! in the middle of a heat wave!! Only to be told my check was in the mail!!! Even after I told Lana I would be there to pick it up!! I called and me and Melanie had words because she’s unprofessional and doesn’t know how to talk to people. She ended up calling Helens’ Husband lied and said I threatened her! I have heard bad things about H&R Dental but I never believed them until now. I’m literally stuck between a rock and a hard place because of Contract Money!!! So because Helen didn’t get her contract money!! She’s making it hard for me!! Very Petty!! And Unprofessional!!!Welp! Got a email from Helen yesterday.Now she’s calling me a fraud and refusing to verify my employment. She clearly doesn’t know how the law works as far as Employment verification. She thinks I’m looking for work. This women is BITTER!!! Never seen someone do unprofessional a day in my life. I wouldn’t recommend working for her at all. She’s ruthless and cutthroat and will leave you homeless for a dollar! If you let her. She took me of her schedule! And then said I was Unreliable I think she believes her own lies. Don’t work here!

If I could give zero stars I would! This is the worst agency I have ever worked with and I have been a dental hygienist for 25 years! They will send you to offices that wont pay you and they do nothing to back you up.I went on a job over a month and a half ago and I have not received payment yet.I just keep getting the run around from the agency and the office every time I call there. I have even asked to speak to the owner of the agency and I can never get through to her.Do not waste your time with this agency!

I won a $200 prize just for working there one day. Very pleased with them.

This is in response to H&R’s response to Natasha Kanchwala’s review. I was with her when she went into the office to claim her paycheck. We walked in calmly and asked to speak with the owner. Nobody made a scene like H&R dental is claiming. Here is Natasha’s response to your accusation of unprofessionalism:H&R, you claim temps get paid monthly. Yet I worked April 12 and got paid in August. That is FOUR months later and ONLY because I took it upon myself to do so. You all did absolutely nothing to help the matter for four months of me asking for an update. So I went back to the dental office myself to get my check after leaving the owner a voicemail I would be coming, only to find out the office had been shut down PERMANENTLY?!?!! I was never going to get paid for the full work day I completed! Luckily one of the assistants told me which office the owner would be at, so I wasted more time by going there and the other owner wrote me a check.Point being, these are the types of offices they send us to and when push comes to shove, do not stand up for our time but insult us instead. Then we have to waste time trying to get paid what we deserve.Let’s talk professionalism: Im sorry, but we are all professionals here and do not have free time lying around to work for free. Every office I have worked at through you has asked me to come back due to my work-ethic and professionalism. So do not talk about my professionalism. We trust you to be the middleman if something like this happens because that is YOUR professional job NOT ours.Note: please read the other reviews and you will find that many people have gone through such experiences with H&R. Fine another temp company. Dental Power is great, professional, and I have never had issues with them.

What a terrific agency! As a hygienist I have temped through HnR, and became one of the “regular temps” at many offices. Over the last decade, as a manager in a dental practice with 7 locations, I have relied on the team at HnR to provide temporary staff when needed, often at the last minute due to illness. I highly recommend the services of the friendly, hardworking staff at HnR.

Very unprofessional. Has the worst temps come out if they even show up. Does not correct the problems nor care. Complained to Helen several times about multiple issues with their company nothing fixed adjusted or changed. Would never recommend them to anyone . Avoid at all cost.

The people at H&R dental text you 5x a day, for the same job, even after you say no. They do not set you up in good offices, dont listen to your request. Really horrible annoying company. Sign up for Dental Power if your looking for a temp agency to work for
