THIS PLACE IS GREAT! THE HOURS ARE THE BEST! ESPECIALLY FOR WHEN IM WORKING A SECOND SHIFT I STILL HAVE A PLACE TO CASH MY CHECK THAT DAY WHEN I GET OFF FROM WORK. THIS PLACE IS A+++! THEY GOT ME AS A CUSTOMER ALWAYS!!!

I CALLED BEFORE COMING AND WHEN I GOT THERE THE LADY SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO COME BACK MONDAY FOR VERIFICATION AFTER SHE CLEARLY TOLD ME TO COME DOWN THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO CASH MY CHECK AND BY THE WAY IF IT WAS A GOVERNMENT CHECK WHY WOULD IT NEED TO BE VERIFIED WHEN IT IS LISTED ON THE SITE??

Best thing is they are open late and I never had any problems with them always professional

Love this place as a second shift worker I dont need to try to rush and cash my check before work as they are 24 hrs their great staff is always there to help. Not your typical check cashing place very friendly staff and organized even though the lines can be long sometimes late night they are fast and always treat everyone with respect no matter how rude I have seen some people get. Sorry so long winded just a great buisness all around especially the great staff who usually have me cracking up or at least smiling when I leave.

I like this place. it looks like it used to a theatre back then. really glad to have stepped into here. it was open on sunday too, and the receptionist said it will close at 530pm.cashed my first ever check here, all i needed was an ID. thank you!

Its Always closed before the advertised time, I got there at 11:30 and it was closed, and looked like they closed long before that ....bad jawn

Had a check that needed to be cashed from a non profit gig... this was the only place open and I needed the funds ... the lady that helped me was more worried about which nail color she should get instead of helping me ... then then claims the check was fake... I called the payee in the morning and was told that the bank shouldve been called to confirm the check was real and that it was sent out to me ... the next day I called to confirm the check was infact was real they did nothing couldnt even provide me with a managers name or how I could go about fixing this ... now I have to wait 3 more weeks for another check to come ... manor waste of time 🙄.....the person in the store( pawn) was great and awesome though

Wed, Oct 21, 20, 8 PM walked in with all documents required to cash a check, valid id, and a valid 401k check issued from an employer I no longer work for. The gentleman at the window name was Eugene. Eugene took both of my ID and check and asked have I been here before, I said yes. Eugene gave me a pen and my check to sign which I already signed at home prior to receiving the mailed check. Then Eugene is telling me sorry he cant cash my check because I already signed it, he said Im supposed to leave it blank and sign it in front of him and now theres nothing more he can do for me. He said I have to come back the next day at 9 AM so they can call the company that issued my check to see if it was a legit check. I gave him the paperwork that came with the check which also verified that it was a legit check and he said that does nothing for him and that I have to come back the next day in the morning  at 9 AM. I feel as if Eugene tried more to get me to leave then tried to get me some help. And also this place also needs to put up a huge sign which says cant cash check if signed before trying to cash check. If I knew Eugene wasnt going to cash my check I wouldve waited to sign it in front of him.

I was so worried about cashing my check because other banks and check cashing places was giving me all type of issues but all I needed when I went there was my ID. I was very shocked. The lady gave me no issue. I appreciate it all. I would definitely recommend them.

I had to use this facility on south broad st about four days ago. I had a very large check to cash and they handled it with no problem. They make sure you were in a safe location. They gave me everything I asked for in the denomination that I asked for and great customer service skills. I would recommend this check cashing place on south broad st to anyone great place great service.

I have to say this is the best check cashing location in the city of Philadelphia!!!! Friendly workers and 100% customer service you have no where else to go they have everything that you need and they treat you like family. This spot is my newfound happy place!! open 24 hours. I went to cash my tax check and they put me in a PRIVATE ROOM to count my money & brought me water while I waited. Customer service A+!Plus, they have a really cool pawn shop & retail store connected inside the check cashing. Wouldnt cash a check from Key Bank. Wouldnt give me a reason other than they do not accept checks from them. The man behind the counter (who appeared to be the owner) was not only vague as all hell as to why he refused to cash my check but didnt even have the decency to give me another idea of where I might be able to go. Not being from the area and very much needing this check cashed (or any assistance at all) from a Check Cashing company I found this experience to be a complete waste of time and left me sour about the company in general.

Great service very professional and courteous. I often get my checks 2-3 post dated 2-3 days early and still they cash them. Would proudly recommend to anyone.

I will do this review a bit different. Instead of telling you how great my experience was with the owner & his staff on a number of occasions, instead I will tell you the story of how he went out of his way to help me but giving me as much information as possible so I dont waste my time.Let me first start with the fact they are a 24/7 check cashing store front so naturally when I was strapped for cash I called during midnight to see if they would cash a $3,000 work check that I got earlier. They did not hesitate to give me the personal cell phone number of Pete the owner who in return responded within one minute of my text message. he asked me to send him a photo of the check, he confirmed it and told me to head down and they will cash it for me all while he was at home. I was blown away, I couldnt believe how much this man was invested in his business to succeed to the point where he is okay with his cell phone number being given out I believe he encourages it honestly.I love doing business with people who dont waste time and love what they do.

I couldnt believe they were really open 24/7 but they are. They cashed my payroll check and personal checks with no problems...great idea to be open when working people have a hard time to get to a bank..

I have worked with Chris and UCC over the last couple years and they are always there when you need them. Great customer service, friendly experience, very professional and quick.

Waited over 20 minutes to see 2 people get waited on. Had to leave and go back to work without getting what I needed. If 3 people are working than maybe 3 people need to work.

By far the best check cashing place Ive ever been to. The fact thats its open 24/7 warrants it a 5 star rating. I needed to cash a check but I wanted to make sure they would since I had to drive over almost an hour (with traffic) to get there. I reached out to them via a messaging option(which is pretty damn cool) which is linked to their call center. The guy Pete was very helpful. Then the next day when I had time to go cash it I contacted Pete again just to make sure I wasnt going just to be turned down. We spoke on the phone this time and he talked me through everything I had to do and needed to bring with me. He even let me text him a pic of the check and my ID so he could tell me without a doubt that they could cash it. He even went as far as calling the location and letting the manager know that I was coming there and that the check was ok to cash. He even called me while I was driving there so he could reassure me that there would be no problems. Then when I got there the people we very helpful and cashed my check for a very small rate. Only 2% which isnt bad at all. The actual location is in a nice part of the city and its really clean inside as well and like I said before its open 24/7 which is pretty rad if you ask me. Long story short, if you need to cash a check at any time of the day or night I highly suggest that these are the people you go see. Also if you have any doubts or questions dont hesitate to call or msg and ask them whatever you need to. They are very helpful at both the call center and the actual location. You can also get to it via public transportation which is always a plus. I will definitely be bringing them my business again and will also recommend it to anyone looking for a place to cash their checks ESPECIALLY after every other place is closed. Cause sometimes you cant make it to the bank or some kind of cashing establishment before they close and then youre stuck. But not anymore! Dont just take my word for it, go check them out!!

Pete and his staff are grear, absiolutely the best cgeck cashing facility by far. Prompt, 24 hours, quick verification process, owners are easily reached, really cannit say enough good things and i rarely take time to post reviews.
