Our first public outing for 2021!!! The Wilarie!!!An African-American owned venue with an unlimited potential to provide a quality service to the community. Hats off to the venue owners, true visionaries!!! Hubby & I had a nice time, great music, pleasant staff, free parking.

The owner of the venue is a fault as well as the promoters. They took our money and kicked up out within an hour... I want my money back.. There was no show and the woman who kicked everyone out was RUDE.. DONT EVER HAVE ANYTHING HERE

Beautiful Reception Hall and perfect for all kinds of events. The parking and location next to the expressway is very convenient. The venues lighting at night is beautiful. Would recommend.

Great venue for any occasion. Parking is spacious. Temp check, social distance in effect, food was delicious. Staff is friendly. Awesome spot.Great selection of drinks.

They were selling liquor without a license.

I am not sure, it seems like a great place for an event. But why were the Police called to cut the evening short. Time will tell if I go to another event.

I have only been to this place once, but I can truly say that I liked what this place have to offer. Classy size, bar in a great spot and the customer service was pleasant! I am glad to have learned about this banquet hall. Will consider it for future events!

One of the best-kept secret gems in Philadelphia. Beautiful venue for all social activities. Off the beaten path but well worth the effort to get to it. Spacious rooms inside and beautiful patio areas with fire pits. No reason to spend money for parking in Center City anymore - huge free parking lot right here.

Very well lit parking lot with security. Inside was beautiful and they have big screen TVs flanking the walls to provide entertainment before the shows begin. Nice bathrooms even provide thick paper towels to dry hands. A well stocked bar also makes for good times.

Unsuspectingly Divine! A beautifully elegant space with the staff to match. We will definitely use them for other events! Definitely A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!

Very nice! Its a diamond in the rough. The food was good. The atmosphere was peaceful. Good size facility. it has a large outdoor lot with a stage and bar. both inside and outside were decorated nicw.

The place is very nice, but the surrounding area looks like the middle jungle. But once inside, the place itself was very nice and cozy.

I was here for a friends wedding a little less than a month ago...the place is absolutely beautiful. Totally a great place to have a wedding or other special occasion.

Had my wedding reception here, I was able to bring in my own caterer and its a beautiful place thats why my husband and I decided to go with this place. Unfortunately it was a nightmare for me, most of my stress for my wedding came from dealing with the owner (Bill Foster). He charged us for everything which ok I understand but he charged us an additional $800 to use the outside space for his venue and the day of my reception nothing was done to the outside it was dark, minimum lighting and he didnt keep his word on making sure the outside looked nice. We paid for a cocktail hour that was suppose to start at 6:00 but our guests didnt receive anything until we got there which was around 7:15 pm. We felt like he was upset because we didnt go with his caterer and realized how much money he was missing out on and tried to make us pay for every little thing. We paid for china for that day for our bridal party and we never got any type of china to eat off of. He told our caterer to stop giving out sodas (that we paid for) and took our sodas to his bar and made our guests pay for them. At the end of the night when all was said and done he approached me as I was leaving with my family and asked if I had the money for gratuity and an additional $210 that I owed him (😳😳). Not only did he ask this in front of my family but if we owed him anything our reception would have never took placed at his venue. I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER recommend anyone to use this place. You try to show love to your fellow brother and sisters but he was the WORST! Never again!

I havent used there venue or services yet, so I am giving 3 stars. But, the venue is beautiful and bases on looks, it would deserve 4 stars

To rent the venue, completely overpriced, theyll nickle & dime you over some particular items, but you get what you pay for. Beautiful space. Support black if you can afford too and dont live by frugality.

Attended a wedding here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was guided where to park (nice-sized, partially gated lot), led inside, and never felt lost, even tho we were a bit late. Drinks were yummy and made fresh and food was equally tasty. String beans were plump and crisp; portions and seasonings were both appropriate.Venue was clean, well-decorated, and spacious enough for the party, with even more room outside on the large, comfortable front and back patios, which featured umbrellas for shade and quality torches for ambience.Nice dance floor (transportable), and large video monitors helped get the party moving. Volume was appropriate as it was pumpin, but conversations could still be had at the tables. DJ did a pretty good job, playing some old & some new, and even throwing some actual mixing into the mix.Location, although far from home, was easy to get to and near major highways. 30 mins from the Walt & probably about 20 mins from the Ben. Took about 25 minutes to drive to PHL airport at 9p. Would take much longer during rush hour.Overall, it was a beautiful wedding in a suitable and comfortable venue. This seems like a great place to host a variety of wonderful events!
