Was very friendly and took into consideration the state of affairs right now. Took my temperature and was careful for the safety of everyone. Showed Gilvert the barber a picture of the cut I wanted and he was able to get it done no problem. Offered to trim my beard and wash my hair when the cut was done. Very reasonable prices and was done in time to get ready for work.

My review goes for the barber. He is a very friendly guy. He needs more of experience at doing fades. I like to give barbers an opportunity of improvement when they cut my hair, but after 2 years I didn’t see progress in his skills at fading.

I went today, a Saturday, and made an appointment to see JANIE the same day. I wasn’t specific about what I wanted other than saying that I wanted two layers and my undercut shaved. I had to wait a bit before getting seen but it was worth it. I was nervous due to a bad experience with my previous hair stylist but she put me at ease. The outcome was perfect. My length, which I was worried about losing, was not highly affected and the layers are beautiful and natural-looking. The price for the cut was $24 and very reasonable considering she shampooed and conditioned my long hair prior to cutting. I live in Kingsville but I’ll definitely be driving here to see Janie ANYTIME I need hair services!!

On a Wednesday, I paid $40 for French tip pedicure. The lady used a white acrylic powder. Made my nail beds look cloudy and dirty. Went back the next day (Thursday) to have them fixed, and the lady just buffed instead of actually fixing it. Went back Saturday because a nail fell off, which gave the lady the opportunity to really fix yhe cloudy look, and she CHARGED $7 A TOE! In the end, I paid $54 and a diff nail fell off, AND my pedicure does not look professionally done. Never going back here.

Overall good barber. He even ask to wash hair after hes finished cutting.
