I got my hair colored for the first time and Alexis did an amazing job. I had a color consultation prior my hair appointment and they recommended Alexis. I just showed her a picture of how I want my hair color to look like and I was satisfied with the results. The entire process took around 2hrs. They use organic hair colors and if you dont want bleach on your hair, they can accommodate that as well. Staff was friendly and it was easy to book an appointment. I paid $105 for my highlights and its totally worth it. Alexis is the one I would highly recommend for your hair. Would recommend. Would visit again.

Got my eyelashes done for prom and vacation spent $150 + tip. They looked beautiful when I got them done and the experience/service was great. I have had eyelash extensions before so knew the upkeep and what I needed to do to have them stay. The day after I got them done they started to fall out within three days they were completely off and at this point I was already out of town and didn’t bother calling because nothing could have been done. Figured I would also get them filled when I got back but after the experience I wasn’t going back. For the price point they weren’t the best and I was extremely disappointed in the eyelashes. Wish it would have turned out better. The pictures showed below were the day of prom where I do have them and then two days after on the airplane.

I love them! I use Alexis for my daily hair cuts and style she is amazing. I also had her do my hair for my wedding and for my bridal party. She is so talented! I used Riley for my wedding make up and same for my bridal party and she did a flawless job. I love being part of the Pure Bliss family. Lynette was an awesome coordinator as well and kept everything very organized and continuously communicated with me when I needed it. Thank you to all of you!

My go to place for haircut in town. They are very professional and always on time. My stylist is Coby Floyd. hair cut / styling service I received is perfect with right price range. Coby takes his time to make the service best. Best value I would say. They followed all safety health protocols during pandemic. I would definitely recommend this place. I moved to a different state and I would definitely miss this place.

This review is for extremely unprofessional behavior of the front desk staff and the hair stylist.I had booked a haircut appointment for my 3 yr oldWas delayed by 10min and I called them regarding that while I was at their doorstep .Things can be a little unpredictable time wise with a toddler!The front desk person initially put me on hold and then when he got back said he said could not have me since I was late and the hair stylist Ashley was also inconsiderateI understand that they have clients waiting, but how long are they going to spend on a toddlers haircut !This is extremely rude especially since I was standing at their door with a 3 yr oldAs far as I know,any place which includes hospitals,restaurants, salons have the courtesy to call if people do not show up within 15min of their appointment and will inform you if they need to reschedule or cancelI have been to this salon for other services .I do not have any complaints regarding their services for haircut or massage,but extremely disappointed with this behavior.I am not going to be visiting this place again

I am from out of town and attended a wedding this past weekend in Peoria. Sophia, I think is her name, did an amazing job styling my hair!!! She was very pleasant and professional. I have very thick hair and she was able to get it done in an hour. If I lived nearby, I would see Sophia for my hair needs.

Updating my prior review now that it’s been a month since my initial visit. Honestly, my hair is in pretty bad shape after going here, but they have excellent customer service! I was able to speak to the owner after an initial color mess-up and she fit me in a few days later to fix it with another gal, who was super nice and helped as much as she could. Unfortunately, my hair is horribly dry now and is just an uglier version of the color I had before. I feel like I paid to destroy my hair. I won’t be back, but I truly appreciate their kindness and willingness to work with me and help out where they could. I highly recommend doing a color consult prior to making any kind of change. Also, thank you to Rachel Sever, who did a great job helping during my follow-up fix-it appointment. Super kind and patient and informative. Def recommend her if you’re going to venture in for color.

I was a bit nervous when it comes to trusting a new hairstylist after a few bad experiences in the past. Shortly after moving here, I knew I had to face the inevitable. But, let me just say Im truly glad I found Pure Bliss. I was very impressed with the stylist they suggested. Alexis took the time to listen and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. She made me feel at ease right from the start. I would definitely go back and recommend her to everyone.

I had such a phenomenal experience. This was my first time at the salon. It’s beautiful, clean, & very modern feel! I just did a hair treatment and it was so incredibly relaxing. Being 39 weeks pregnant, it was a great way to pamper myself!

I got my hair done by Dannie this evening and she is absolutely amazing! I have naturally curly hair that I dyed last year and I’m trying to grow it out now. I’ve been struggling with the ends not curling and thinning. I explained what was going on and Dannie knew exactly what to do! She gave me a good wash, trimmed it up, and gave me an amazing blow out! It feels so healthy now! We came up with a plan for me to use the Aveda Botanical shampoo and conditioner and to continue to come for healthy trims so that I can get my dream hair. Dannie is so personable and easy to talk to! Sometimes I feel so awkward and nervous while I’m getting my hair done but she was so warm and welcoming that I felt so comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will 100% be returning to and recommending Dannie at Pure Bliss!

I never write reviews but I had such a great experience here that I had to write one. Alexis Harris cut and styled my hair and it was the best haircut and blowout I have ever gotten. My hair doesnt naturally have a lot of volume but after she cut it she introduced so much volume and texture through the perfect length, layers, and face framing. I had such a positive experience here and if you go, you should definitely ask for Alexis.

My best friend went and had a terrible experience. 80 dollars for her first wax and I had to rewax her legs for her with a 10 box from ulta and there was hair everywhere! Certainly will never be getting our business again, and were definitely sharing our experience with others. She told the person waxing her that she missed some and was turned down and told they were just bumps. She also SAID she went over everything twice and clearly did not. She did call to complain and they just said that its just like that the first time (I doubt it because there was seriously hair everywhere- we used the whole box of strips) and that they could go over it again in a couple days but we already did it. Honestly she should have gotten management and should have received a refund. Ridiculous. I hope not all there services are this bad.

I had a wonderful experience from calling to schedule my appointment to going in to get makeup and hair done for a military ball. Rachel did a fantastic job. She listened to what I wanted, and made me look amazing. I definitely recommend them.

My recent experience at Pure Bliss was more than disappointing. The management of the salon displayed a pure lack of customer service and complete disregard to professionalism.Unfortunately, after a hair service did not end in a satisfactory result to my expectations, I let the salon know of my concerns while still in the chair and again at the register, where I ended up paying for my service in full. I will note, I had experienced 2 positive experiences from my stylist previously with no need to interact with management. On this occasion, I ended up contacting the salon the next day, where I was able to speak to the salon manager. To be frank, the initial conversation certainly had a tone that I was overreacting and she tried to brush off my concerns. After some discussion, I was able to gain a commitment that I could come into the salon and have the result changed through another service. At this time, I was not given a time-frame to do so and I had mentioned to her that I went ahead and booked another service in 4 weeks for correction when I was still at the salon. She stated I could call in and request an earlier appointment if I wanted and would make note of the discussion. A couple days later I ended up in the hospital, which kept me from moving the appointment up, which I would have preferred, of course, as I was not happy with the results. When I came to the scheduled appointment, before the service started, I confirmed that I would be receiving some correction services, without cost, as we discussed. I was certainly prepared to pay for anything additional on this visit, i.e. another trim, 2nd toning, etc. But what I received was a response from management that I had not come in soon enough and they would not be honoring their aforementioned correction or any additional discount on the services needed to fix the previous result I was not happy with. Management didnt even come out to speak to me. I ended up leaving the appointment without having a service. I will note, my stylist, was wonderful through the experience, was certainly concerned and wanted to help make things right, but the management refused to allow that to happen.My take away is that if you never have to interact with management, your experience will most likely be fine, but any issues will lead you to someone who is in compassionate and lacks customer service skills.

I got a shampoo and cut recently from Coby Floyd, and it was amazing! He put in a lot time and went above and beyond to make the experience a great one. I was very happy with my cut and blowout with him. It was my first time going to this salon, and I cant wait to go back again in the future!

Always easy to schedule an appointment. Comfortable chairs and nice layout and decor. Ive used multiple stylist there and have liked each one. They listen to what you say and make suggestions to help you decide what you should do with your hair.

Very expensive and did not listen to what I wanted in color. Said several times that I did not want a brassy color and that is what I ended up with. She even knew when my color came out to immediately put purple shampoo on and let it sit still the color was orange brass color. I went back in to get it fixed and they charged me got product for fixing the mistake they did. Then I was told to keep using purple shampoo. Very frustrating and I paid a double what I usually paid. I could of done better myself. Still trying to get my hair back how it was before I went to the salon.

I have had better customer service. They don’t care about a potential sale and were unwilling to help me with my request to simply have my hair matched to the hair extensions they offer. They would have rather me schedule a consultation, waste the hair stylist’s time and my own, instead of being willing to match me, talk to me and schedule an appointment to cut my hair and the extensions hair to blend in flawlessly, they simply said that if I am not getting fusion hair extensions than I cannot be matched. This salon’s stubborness and unwillingness is far too significant. I am a potential client, one who has engagement photos coming up, one who gets hair cuts frequently, and one who will need a bridal updo.

Sam was great, not only did she help me with a new hairstyle she helped choose a color for my hair. It was only a half hour when a young man complimented me on the color of my hair and said he couldnt tell if it was my natural color!

I recently had a shampoo and styling at Pure Bliss with stylist Coby Floyd. The entire experience really was Pure Bliss! Coby was delightful and did a beautiful job with my long thick hair which can be a chalenge for others. If I lived in the Peoria area I would be here often...but live in California so must wait to return here on my next visit....but I look forward to it!!

I went to Pure Bliss for the first time this week. Coby is absolutely fantastic! Everyone was nice and professional. I recently moved to peoria and had no idea what stylist to go to, ive had previous bad experiences back home so i was particular where i went. im so glad i picked Pure Bliss. I walked in a mess, walked out like a movie star! Coby did this with just a cut and style! Coby will be my permanent stylist from now on. Also, i made an appointment in the morning the day of, was there about 10 minutes early, and was in the stylist chair right away, there was no wait at all. 5 stars from me!
