Took 2002 Chevy Trailbkazer in for coolant leak and water pump replacement. Was treated very professionally by Robert. Explained everything in detail. Did not take advantage of the situation and only replaced what was needed instead of trying to charge for extra unnecessary parts. Now have a smooth running vehicle with a nice warranty. I brought my 54 Ford to them with a list of things to do, Shawn and Robert Itemized each service and we got the ball rolling. They installed Turn Signals, fixed oil leaks, did a bunch of wiring repair, installed an aluminum radiator that had to be custom fit and did a very overdo alignment that makes it steer like a dream. Among the best, honest, trustworthy auto repair shop is Trend in Peoria. The service is second to none. Staff have years of experience, and the owner personally is a mechanic, leading his team right on the floor, while his wife Erika is managing the office with smile, and follow up orders. At the visit my car was checked prior to any work done, and recommendations were given in very reasonable price. Way to go. Shaun and Erika did an amazing job on my 1965 Mustang, constant communication, extremely detailed and over the top fabrication work, they where very knowledgeable about why and how they where completing each individual job. I am not an easy person or customer to do business with and they where able to clearly explain the processes in a way that I felt comfortable with and that made sense. I highly recommend them, towards the end of the build I had them actually pick parts out blindly and install them on the mustang, I could tell that this is there passion and I felt that there ideas where way more superior than mine. Trend is top notch. I was using another shop for general repairs on my 2004 Chevy Suburban 2500 . . . and they were bleeding me dry. I had a recurrent clunk and they never diagnosed the problem even suggesting that I must be imagining the problem. A guy I met told me to take my car to Trend. Their mechanic Robert (with 30 years of hands on experience) jumped in the car with me, we drove around the block, and he said “broken engine mount.” That was it! They fixed it the next day at a very reasonable price. Now my Chevy runs like a top. . . . smooth, safe, quiet, and powerful. I will only take my cars to Trend Auto Repair from now on . . . they are the real deal.

Well let me first say that the owners are fabulous people. Shawn and Erika are service orientated professionals and that makes for me a much better relationship. I myself am a fairly knowledgeable, mechanically inclined person but I lack the patience or skill Shawn has developed during his career. He absolutely stands behind his work, and does a great job in a timely fashion. They dont just shove your car thru they take the time to check it out kind of like a Doctor at a regular checkup. I feel confident when I travel to remote destinations like Mexico that I will be driving back in the same vehicle I went in. They have serviced most of my mechanical needs on about 9-10 vehicles over the years. Whether its Chris or Erika at the front end you always get a smile. Thumbs up!

If there are problems....they stand behind their work until it IS fixed correctly. Both the owner and his wife are very welcoming and easy to work with.
