Dealerships are only as good as their employees abilities to inform the client of the facts and then execute the proper paperwork for a smooth process of sale. We were pleased to work with the salesman, Alan, for the purchase of our first Subaru this past week. Alan knew the product and was able to communicate the information we would need as well as answer the questions we had about the vehicle. That is an important statement when it comes to salesmen in any line of sales. We could tell Alan had educated himself well on the Subaru product. This was the best buying experience I have ever had. My sales person, Spencer Roe, was a breath of fresh air. No hard sell, no pressure and he knew everything about the car I intended to buy. He didnt have to look anything up. And so nice. He added a couple perks to my purchase which made me sign on the dotted line. A former BMW owner has been converted to a Subaru Forester owner. Our second Subaru purchased at Moore/Peoria Subaru - even though we live near Desert Ridge, was worth the drive. For some reason, they always seem to have the car we want at a reasonable price. Salesman Alan Nestor was the best! Laid back dude with a TON of Subaru knowledge. Very pleasant, no pressure approach. Would recommend the dealership and the salesman.

Today 05/05/2021 I brought my Subaru Crosstrek to Peoria Subaru for a recall on the coils. When I was picking it up there was grease prints in hood latch area and a small scratch in same area. My Crosstrek is in pristine condition. With little use. When I pointed these items out to Brandon, the service person, he dismissed these items. I know how my Crosstreks hood looks because its by the door to the house and I see it every time I go in and out to the garage. This was very poor attention to detail... the grease and then the small scratch really totally got me mad. Unacceptable Service. And Brandon just dismissing these items was sad.

I just spent $2200 getting my car serviced at their service location and upon return not only the car filthy but somebody stole or used and entire tank of fuel out of the car. When I brought it to them for Service it had between 3/4 and a full tank of fuel . When i brought this to the attention of the manager he just told me to leave a refused to fix the situation

Absolutely terrible dealership from top to bottom. Car itself is great and that is only a testament to Subaru, not this dealership. They dont return calls and make empty promises. Both sales and finance teams are sketchy and dont care about the customer. Once again, Subaru makes a great vehicle, just buy it from any dealership other than this one.

Stopped in to Peoria Subaru because we needed 2 new vehicles. With stock being low everywhere these days, it was a supply and demand bargaining session. It took two days, but I was happy to make a deal for two new Subarus. I believe the GM and I both compromised and I was happy. We were treated very well by my salesman, Simon, and the GM, Anthony. I will enjoy when their new showroom and service facility is finished in the fall.I had a good experience overall.

Spencer and Chris at Peoria Subaru helped me find the right car (a WRX) and worked with me to get to the price I was comfortable with, while honoring a good value for my trade. I was very happy with the process, and they were straightforward with the numbers on the deal sheet. I felt very comfortable through the whole process and left with a great new car. I purchased my new Subaru through the Costco Auto Program and it brought me to Peoria Subaru. The site was under construction therefore the sales-staff is in a trailer in the Jeep lot. However, this does not mean that the service was crippled in any way. I had an amazing experience with Peoria Subaru and was very please with how seamless the process was. I bought a used vehicle from Moore Subaru a couple weeks ago. It was a great experience. Simon was our sales guy, and he was friendly and efficient. Troy was the finance person that helped us, and he was also great. The only blip was that as I was leaving in my new (to me) vehicle I noticed that one of the knobs for moving the seat was missing. I was told that they would look into having that replaced, but I never heard anything back. All in all, though, they were great to work with!

Great experience with Peoria Subaru sales. My wife and I traveled from Nevada because Peoria Subaru made us a great deal on a new Ascent. Contact and negotiation was done over email and phone, making it easy and stress free. After deciding on an Ascent, Peoria Subaru contacted me that the vehicle had some minor body damage. They made it right by offering me a lower price on the model year newer! Would definitely travel to Peoria again for any future Subaru vehicle.

This has been by far the best car purchasing experience in the Phoenix area. They truly give you a sense of a family feel just like one would receive from dealerships back in our former Midwest home. I left their after test driving a vehicle and was headed to another dealer to look at more vehicles. Half way to the other dealership I decided to give Peoria Subaru my business because of the way I was treated . Over the years, I’ve had some good experiences and some nightmarish experiences with car dealerships. I have to say that of all of the purchases over the years, our recent purchase from Peoria Subaru has to be the best. I started inquiring about the Subaru Forester through their website. The responses were quick and informative. My wife and I went down that afternoon to test drive the Forester. Since this is a review of the dealership and not the vehicle itself, I’ll just leave the comment on the Forester as: the whole Subaru “love” thing – yep, it was and is.Anyway, we met with Eva who showed us the vehicle and came with us on the test drive. She was low/no pressure and just answered our questions and didn’t interject when we didn’t need it. It was refreshing and we were starting to see how this was going to go.We went home that evening and discussed the various cars we had driven over the past week, and very quickly decided on the Forester for a variety of reasons about the vehicle and about the dealership itself. We made an appointment to come down the next day so they could appraise our trade-in. We met again with Eva and they made us an offer. The negotiating experience was pretty standard but in no way high-pressure. It was, as my kids would say, a “pretty chill experience.” We went back and forth with the sales manager a few times and settled on just about our exact anticipated out-the-door price. There was only one “add-on” purchase that was offered at this time and that was a few different subscription levels that allow you to start/unlock/monitor your vehicle with a smartphone app. We’re talking $25 or so per year, so it wasn’t a big “add.”While they detailed the vehicle, we waited for the finance manager to finish up with another customer. As this is a smaller dealership, they don’t have an army of finance people. That’s ok as the wait to go to the finance manager was spent going over the owner’s manual, something that was never offered to me by any other dealership.We then went in to see Troy, the Finance Manager. Traditionally, this is the part of the buying experience that I like the least. Having to sit through an endless (over an hour) sales pitch for every possible extra you can imagine (and some that you probably couldn’t) and then another hour of signing a stack of paperwork. What a surprise when one of the first things that Troy said was, “Congratulations on your new Subaru Forester. This should only take about 20-30 minutes and I’ll have you on your way.” Troy only offered us one option, an extended warranty package, which we discussed, and that was it. The paperwork was already drawn-up and ready to sign. We signed and he was as good as his word that we’d be out of there in 20-30 minutes but we sat for a few and chatted about a stuff not related to cars. What a pleasant surprise.The vehicle was ready when we left Troy’s office and we hit the road. The vehicle is excellent as was the buying experience. I’ve received a follow-up from Eva as well as someone from the dealership management. I highly recommend Peoria Subaru for an excellent buying experience.

The worst dealership Ive ever worked with.Go to camelback. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. Every single time Ive had to interact with this dealership whether its sales or service theyve been not upfront with me and wasted my time. They are not friendly they wont take care of you and they will not going to give you a good deal. Its absolutely worth the drive to go to a different dealership.If this was the only place I could buy a Subaru I certainly would not own one.It must be a problem with the management because everyone there seems miserable.This dealership is less than ten miles from my house. I will be making the drive 40 minutes to Camelback if I ever need anything.

No pressure just hearing my desires in my next car and helping me make a very informed decision. Simon from the moment we met was upfront in discussing Forester vs Crosstrek. I had an older Crosstrek I wanted to trade so I was familiar with the strong giddy up and go plus the well made strength of the model. We talked about the different trims and I decided I wanted a Crosstrek Limited. Did Simon deliver? Yes he did! The whole process was remarkable. I got the best car for the best deal. Richard was great too managing the financial process. At no time did I feel the typical car salesman routine where they make you have to make your decision right here right now. Just before Christmas I was in the market to purchase a new or slightly used sports car. I have always been a Honda guy, but have always liked the Impreza WRX. After test driving a Civic Si at Arrowhead Honda, I stopped by Peoria Subaru to test drive a WRX. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a sales person. He retrieved the keys to a new WRX and I looked at the interior of the vehicle. I asked if they had a used one on the lot I could test drive, to which he responded that the only used one was away getting service. I pointed out that there was a used WRX about 30 feet away from us, at which point he quickly rushed me inside as if that conversation was settled. We sat down at his desk and this gentleman had the nerve to ask so, do you want to buy this car? I couldnt possibly guess which car he could be talking about, since I hadnt test driven any cars. I am absolutely bewildered that this guy expected me to hard pull my credit without even test driving a vehicle. Needless to say, I am LOVING my almost new Civic Si that I purchased from Alex over at Arrowhead Honda.

The worst experience ever. I came in October of 2020 for my 2005 Subaru outbacks second airbag recall. They offered a car and a free oil change. I also got a tune up plugs replaced. I have about 120.000 miles .When I came to pick up my car the glove box was broken as well as the dashboard and my cd player. The car was filthy. It looked like it had been stolen! So I left it there because you could not even close the glove box. It took weeks to fix it and clean .I asked to check the car out thoroughly and I have a gas tank issue that I need to fix but it can wait. I just wanted the car inspected fluid levels since they had the car there for over a month. They finally said the car was done and I came to pick it up. I drove it home and noticed a large puddle under my front passenger side. I brought the car back the next day and they told me my radiator was badly leaking and it was not drivable but they let me drive home with it that way the night before. I had to pay their price to now get that fixed! I finally got that fixed for over 5 hundred dollars. by this time we are well into 2021! I noticed the Bluetooth was not working and I took it to Best buy who said i had a warranty and fixed it for free but told me the mike on the Bluetooth had been ripped out and the dashboard was still cracked and broken. They fixed the mike and the stereo but told me to go back to Subaru to fix the broken dash parts. It took Subaru over a month to get the parts and after sitting there one day for two hours they told me they did not know where they put the part they ordered for me and I had to come back. I had asked them to give my car an inspection which they did not ever do. When I came back the next week to finally replace the broke part and asked they look at the engine mounts and a noisy wheel bearings., which they did not fix. But did say it needed to be fixed. I left and after having reported this to Subaru they gave me 35o Subaru dollars to fix. I am 68 and disabled and when they walked me out the owner told me not to come back. I told Peoria Subaru I had to come back for them to fix what they broke! And I had no intention of ever coming back. I would never have gone there but I had to get the recall done! BY THIS TIME IT WAS MAY 2021! I still have to fix the wheel problem and get the gas tank fixed! I am going to another dealer for the wheel and inspection and a Subaru specialist for the tank! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever It affected my heart and was in the middle of the pandemic for which they closed the shop for in the middle of this fiasco! Horrifying.BTW They called and harassed me about the lender car they had to give me as per their letter!

Spencer was great as our salesman, he asked about our price and features that we needed and found a car on the lot that met two of our most important needs. Everything was transparent about the price. He showed us the Costco price, the KBB price and the Peoria Subaru price. Once we decided to go through with the purchase, it was a L O N G process to complete the purchase. Spencer was great and kept us well informed. I would like to thank Rich Schott from peoria subaru parts department. After ordering a skid plate for my wifes 2020 outback online later finding it was not compatible with the car despite the subaru website saying it was a correct fit. I was able to install correct skid plate at different subaru dealership. The difficult part was getting the original skidplate refunded. I would say it is a complicated task to get a refund from an online order without original receipt. That fault is my own and should no better. A big shout out to rich with 10 plus emails and multiple phone calls he assisted in getting my return. Rich went above and beyond and I just wanted to give him a shout out for all the help.

Everyone from the receptionist to the sales team and finance took time to personalize their concerted service to make a usually difficult/nerve wracking process as enjoyable as possible. After having a terrible experience at Camelback Subaru and backing out of a deal where they changed the terms on me, I visited Peoria Subaru. It was a much more straightforward sales process. Dishonest internet advertising and misleading sales manager leads me to rate this company a 1 star. The price of the car I was looking at was advertised at $14,990, which was a great price. It turns out they charge $1,200 for document and dealer feesin addition to the price. No, you didnt read that wrong, I said TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. So, the $14,990 price is actually $16,190. Sleezy if you ask me. This is clearly a way for them to advertise their cars at a lower price then competitors online to get you in the doors and then slam you with a higher price when you decide to purchase the vehicle. They tried to negotiate $500 off the price of the car. The sales manager called to explain the numbers to me and was very good at making it sound like these additional figures are required fees (as of they dont have any control over them... like a government fee or taxes something). Totally ridiculous.

Best car shopping experience! In a time when everything can be purchased virtually we opted to visit Peoria Subaru in-person because we wanted to get all of our questions answered by the experts, and that’s exactly what we received. Eva and Bob were so helpful, personable and Knowledgeable when it came to helping us look for a car that meet our needs. They were so patient with us, and took the time to show us different models to fit our budget. We we’re dreading the stressful finances part of the process after we found our ideal car in the Ascent and it was anything but stressful! They were extremely helpful in doing everything so quickly that it was honestly faster than selecting the car. Troy’s experience in finance made what can be an hour long process complete in less than 20 minutes.

Regular service took less than 45 minutes, which is great if you still want to reach work and have the car serviced in the morning. Be aware they dont do glass. Also no Car Butler service. No dealer detail either, not even a simple car wash. I guess this is because Jacksons in Peoria is just across the street. A pity.

This was a joint buying experience with my wife and my daughter, as the car was for them. I put in some inquiries via both Costco and the Consumer Reports programs (True Car), and I was contacted by Peoria Subaru, and another Subaru dealership in Central Phoenix. Ive done business previously with the other dealership, and know them to be high pressure. This was reflected in the way the two dealerships followed up on my inquiries. Peoria Subarus response was quick and respectful. The other dealership blasted me relentlessly on two phone lines, text, and via email. Even though Peoria was a hike for us, we decided to visit them first.I set an appointment with Bob Stockwell, and he had two Crosstreks waiting for us, one used, one new. We test drove both, checked out one other new one, and decided to focus on the used one. Bob was great to work with, patient and helpful. While waiting for the finance manager, Troy, he walked my daughter through the pairing process with her phone, and showed her the settings and features she needed to know.Troy in financing turned out to be an absolute gem. He took excellent care of us, and went above and beyond making sure that my daughter would have the best deal possible, including some add-ons that we didnt think we could afford.The only negative to the whole experience was that the process did take a while. However, it was more than worthwhile. I have no hesitation recommending Peoria Subaru, Bob, and Troy, to anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle. They clearly know how to treat their customers.

Shout out to George (from the Sales department)!!! One major factor in buying a car is not only the great deal we get BUT the quality of service being provided. And that is GEORGE! He is not just about selling... he cares more about his clients. He was very courteous and sensitive about our needs/wants when it comes to decision making. He was very informative - made sure that he mentioned almost everything (if not all) that we need to know about the product and answered all our questions. George and his manager were very patient dealing with our demands and made sure we are satisfied with the transaction. Thanks to Pete (from Finance department) too for being patient with us! Just had my second service today for our 2019 Forester. My initial sales experience with Luigi was terrific and he hooked me up with Dan Halliburton for my service needs. The first service was great and the second even better as we are all dealing with the Covid crisis which makes it more challenging for all concerned. Dan reviewed what would be done and said it would take about an hour. In just under an hour the car was ready and he personally wiped down the key and the car with a disinfectant wipe which was a really nice touch. I live in Gilbert but it is well worth the drive to get competent and professional service. I highly recommend Peoria Subaru for sales and service. Well run dealership with top notch staff.

Overall excellent experience with Peoria Subaru. The sales team was very professional and had the car I was interested in ready for a test drive when I pulled up. They were not pushy at all with the sale and gave me as much time as I needed to make my decision. They price their vehicles aggressively and make it worth your trip. They also fairly value your trade-in and didnt try to cut any corners. I was shopping at a few other dealerships and ultimately decided to go with Peoria Subaru. What makes this dealership different is the quality of the service you get after you purchase your vehicle. Anthony (sales manager) has been absolutely great and has provided exceptional service. He truly takes pride in his work and makes sure that I am taken care of. I unfortunately had to replace a broken windshield within the first 2 months of ownership and he organized my service appointment, Eyesight calibration and loaner car. He stopped what he was doing to make sure I was taken care of and fully satisfied with the service I received. Other businesses should take note of how Peoria Subaru runs their dealership.
