Liberty GMC deserves 1 star. Took my truck in because it was having mechanical issues, I explained to the mechanic what exactly was going on with the truck. he told me he was going to check it first and run some test to see what the truck needed. they later called me and told me that it was going to be a certain amount of money to fix the problem . ( i asked again over the phone if that was going to help fix the issue they told me yes). i paid and they fixed it. couple of days later my truck got worse, truck was running on less than 20 mph, engine light was on and telling me that the engine power had reduced. the catalytic converter (what they had fixed) turned super red and the truck had a burning smell to it, called liberty GMC back and told me to take it in so they can check it they gave me a date and had to get a towing truck to take my truck because it would not run. they called me later on and told me a whole other issue that it was now my transmission that was messed up. They wanted me to pay more money for something they messed up on, after i asked them multiple times the first time if that was the only issue with the truck and told me yes! do not come here if you need any of your cars fixed!
As always the service team at Liberty GMC were hands down five stars. From Jim Sepe as a point of contact to Trevor who made sure that I was taken care of when Jim wasnt available, to the entire team. It is always efficient and the best customer experience possible when we take our vehicle in. I would recommend Liberty GMC over any other dealership in the city.
I scheduled an online service appointment to have a few things looked at on my truck, plus I was due for an oil change, so I figured Id get that done as well. The earliest appointment time was for Friday Sept 24 at 2pm. Someone from the dealers BDC called to explain that one of my issues, the transmission, likely couldnt be looked at until at least 10/11 as they are backed up, but if I were to get the truck in earlier, they could look at my drivers side mirror, which is broken, and possibly get it fully fixed, as there would be more time. I was able to make the time to drop the truck off Thursday night, so it would be available all of Friday. After many text messages with the service advisor on Friday, it was determined at 9:07 am, that the mirror couldnt even be looked at until Tuesday of the following week. So now Ive made arrangements to make an online appointment....get the truck there early to have this mirror looked at, and just over 2 hours into business, am told it wasnt going to be looked at until Tuesday and the only service I was able to get done is an over-priced oil change that I could have gotten down down the street from my house for $45 less. I understand things happen...I understand the state of labor we are in...however, I didnt ask for any of these conditions as a favor...I made the appointment, I brought the truck in early when asked, and then was told that there was nothing that could be done. This was hands down the worst service experience Ive ever had in any dealership, as it was my TIME that was wasted and not considered at all. Overpaying for services, items needing to be special ordered, and other things happening are all part of the deal, I get that....but I cannot put a price on the time that was wasted, and the lack of consideration for it, was insulting. LIberty GMC will not be getting any of my service business or any potential new vehicle purchase business in the future. Please use this as an opportunity to be better to future customers that have allowed you to earn their business. As for me, Im done.
Awesome experience. Bought a used 2018 Yukon. Traveled from San tan valley so we did a lot of the legwork over the phone first, but we arrived there at 630, got the trade value we discussed, bought the truck at the price we expected and were on the road by 8-830. Worked with Chip, Matthew, Julian, and one other gentleman (I can’t remember the name, Wesley maybe?). All very kind and patient and very helpful. Would have no issues driving an hour and a half to do business there again. Thanks gents. Truck and experience were great.
Honestly one of the best experiences Ive had with a dealership. Could have been a little faster but that aspect I understand was mostly out of their control.
Everyone we worked with was amazing and very helpful through our whole buying process. It made for a great experience and we will definitely recommend Liberty GMC to our family and friends for their future vehicle needs!
My name is Kevin McNair. As always, I am pleasantly pleased with my automotive services rendered by Liberty GMC. Ive known Mr. Bill Large for a few years now, ever since his previous position at Arrowhead Cadillac, to when he spearheaded the service for my mothers Cadillac. Mr. Large is an asset to Liberty GMC and he should be Top Shelf recognized for his superior industry knowledge, expert automotive and customer service skills. Also, much thanks to Mike, who also renders great customer service to your patrons. Through our discussions, I discovered that Mike is a fellow U.S. Military Service Veteran and were both retired brother Law Enforcement Officers as well. Keep up the fantastic work Liberty GMC!!
This was my first oil change visit at GMC Liberty. I checked with Clint (sorry I dont remember his last name). I asked him if some of my apps could be reorganized and if it would take long for my oil change. I was there for about an hour and a half. when car was done he rearranged my camera icon and showed me how to set driver seat settings. I have had this car for 6 months and was unable to use this function correctly. I do appreciate his patience with me. Clint was very nice and informative
James C. made our experience very pleasant. We did not feel that uncomfortable sale associate and buyer scenario. James was very amiable and professional. We purchased through GMC 5 years ago and had a good experience then, it was nice to return and still see the same courtesy and professionalism.
Honest, upfront service. Kept me informed of status.Great job!!
Kyle was awesome to work with. He knows the GMC lineup like back of his hand and was very helpful in providing me information the I needed to help me make a decision. Was much better of an experience than any other dealer I visited.By the way, when GMC comes out with the EV Terrain, I will back at your place for sure.
This dealership was outstanding as far as trying to meet or exceed my expectations as a customer. Every question, concern and detail was addressed and it was made clear to me every step of the way what processes were going to take place and everything that was promised was provided. This is clearly what a positive buying experience should look like.
My sales guy Tanner was amazing from start to finish. He was patient and kind and extremely knowledge in all products and specs about my new truck. He showed me different options to ensure I got exactly what I was looking for; all while not be pushy. Really top notch service!!!
I went in for an oil change today and started browsing around . Diane Marquez with liberty GMC is hands down one of the good ones in the business and everyone else I had contact with was awesome . They run a good gig over there, no pressure and willing to make a deal. I’m happy with my purchase and happy I got to purchase from good people.
My service advisor was Eric. He was GREAT! He was very polite and answered all of my questions. He told me my car would be great within 2 hours and it was! He called me right away, once my car was ready for pick up.When I went in to pick up my car, he recognized me right away and walked me over to the cashier to get my keys. Thanks Eric!
Very professional polite staff at Liberty GMC. We inquired online with Lydia and the car was waiting for us when we arrived for our appointment. It was an amazing fit and Matt showed us all the options and extras. It was really exactly what we were looking for. We did not want high payments and the Online Manger Matthew was so accommodating and made the deal happen. John explained insurance options and showed us the additional options we could order for our Acadia. Hobby made the usual paperwork interesting, what a nice man. Everyone at that dealership were top notch and we appreciate their professionalism and character.
Everyone gets involved in the sale to ensure you are satisfied. The finance officer, Dan Kirkendall listened to us and what we could afford. He didnt pressure us so that made me comfortable. He called us on his day off to make sure we were still interested. All the Liberty GMC staff are wonderful...from the sales associate..manager ..parts etc
Bought a vehicle here from Mr. Ryan Shippy, he was a nice enough fella and helped us find a very nice vehicle. The one star review is going straight to the finance department. We bought this vehicle on a signed 4.5% interest rate. Course we get a call back a week later (more than a few days according to contract) saying We were unable to honor that rate, best we can do is 6.3%, please come back so we can re-sign. This was less than thrilling news as we were not informed of the spot agreement (that explicitly states a few days to find a lender, most legal definitions of a few days is 2 or 3 days, not a week) that was on the back in small print. Of course. So when we came back in and tried to contest this, magically a better rate of 5.49% appeared, nice. We signed the new deal. The next day I look at my credit report and they had shopped my credit to 6 different lenders. 6 different hits. Once again, no disclosure they were shotgunning my credit all over creation. This facility loves to rope you in with a sweet deal but fails to deliver. Not impressed at all. If I could do it again, I would not.
The spare tire could not be removed when I needed it. When I went to Liberty I told the service Bill and he said the bolt was not there and this is why I couldn’t get it out. They put the bolt in that was supposed to be there and charged me $20 for a factory deflect . There’s no reason why I should have to pay for something that was defected.
My sister get her Yukon her and came with her, as long I was there is great customer service and people really nice.
This is actually not the first time that Ive had my truck worked on at Liberty GMC. Ive taken it there several times now, and each time Erik Hernandez has been my direct contact through the entire process. For everything from a couple of manufacturer recalls to difficult to diagnose little problems. Each time Ive gone there, I pull up under the covered service drop off area and Im greeted quickly by someone who asks me my name and immediately notifies Erik that Im there and he meets me in the driveway within a few minutes of my arrival. He makes sure I have a ride or a comfortable place to wait for short visits and he gives me updates as theyre working on my truck.Ive never been one to believe that a dealership always has your best interest in mind when they work on your vehicle, because Ive always been worried that theyre more interested in selling me a newer model, but Liberty GMC has honestly shown me that they really care about keeping your current vehicle in the best shape it can be, AND they charge a very fair fee for their services.I would absolutely recommend Liberty GMC to anyone looking to have their vehicle serviced or repaired there. Theyre not afraid to dig in and find oddball problems and the mechanics really care about making sure that they keep your service advisor informed about everything theyre doing to fix or maintain your vehicle. And the service advisor, in my case Im speaking about Erik, really makes everything easy on the customers end.Theyre really great!!! :)
Ryan Shippy is a great sales source.Hes prompt, knowledgeable and personable. It was a pleasure doing business with him.
Brought my 2007 Sierra in for air bag recall, was done in an hour and even washed my truck, 👍
Jim Sepe is amazing! He has been there for us for years and continues to do his best for us. Love this place!
Honestly easiest truck buying experience I’ve ever had. Found a truck online I liked. Told them about my trade in they offered a fair amount eight unseen even! Did all the financing before I came in. Saw the truck once I came in and signed paper work, out in less than an hour. Will be back for another vehicle when needed.
Very professional. Work completed in a reasonable time. No pressure. Very congenial
Marie was my service contact she serviced both of my vehicles and fixed two recalls on my g8 in a timely manner and full brake job on my Silverado for a competitive price. She did me a very good job. Very pleased. See you the next time. Thanks Chris.
Very helpful, knowledgeable and straight forward. Omer was a pleasure to work with. There were no “surprises”. Everyone at the dealership were always friendly and very welcoming when I came in.
Bill (service advisor) gave excellent service and ensured that the vehicle was properly taken care of.
My experience was very good my salesman was very helpful very charming and very knowledgeable he was able to answer every question that I ask him and he was very attentive I would definitely go to him again and I definitely would buy again at liberty GMC my salesman was James Cooper.
My sales rep (Lydia Falcon) was very pleasant to work with. I appreciated her can do attitude to make my purchase go smoothly. The vehicle was not at the dealership when I first called but she let me know it had just arrived at the railyard in that area. Lydia kept me informed every step of the way. I live 450 miles from the Liberty GMC dealership and she went out of her way to get my 2021 Yukon Denali delivered. I will recommend her to any of my friends wanting to purchase a GMC.
It was all good, just always room to improve. Erik kept me informed of work being done. If people are waiting for service, maybe have a lot boy that can run for burgers or things like that to keep it more comfortable.
Could not resolve Camera problems, TPMS for trailer will not work on my trailer (response from GM was to change wheels on trailer). Cameras for trailer will not connect to truck because of truck out put power to trailer. No fix from dealer at this time waiting on fix from camera manufacture, GM does not appear to be interested in fixing their problems.Made an appointment but was not put on schedule. Dealer had truck for almost 2 complete days most of my problems did not get resolved. GMC should explain TPMS issue and camera compatibility problems to customer prior to selling vehicles. Sales personnel do not appear to know these issues. The dealer should also make people aware of which 5th wheel hitches that will fit in their trucks with out damaging the truck.

These guys are trash I was approved for my 2020 GMC TERRAIN SLE I ASKED IF EVERYTHING WAS GOOD I PERSONALLY TEXT WINSTON THE SALES MANAGER NO COMMUNICATION THEY SOLD ME THE VEHICLE WITH A BAC CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD AND THE INSIDE OF THE CAR WASN’t detailed at all this place is a joke and last but not least they keep running my credit through banks after I returned the vehicle on 08/20 I had to call the bank to find out the documents were never sent to them I will never ever do business with them again and you shouldn’t either promises that aren’t fulfilled
I was met by my Service Writer Bill at his desk @ the scheduled time of 9am. He wrote up the service order as we had previously discussed. He went to the car to get some stats; when he returned he said the clock, which looses time over 3-4 months was displaying the correct time today. I said I know, but it does loose time. He said his tech that could look at it was 20 cars deep and could we skip it this time; however he never offered to set another appointment whereupon this master tech could look at the car. He resolved our questions regarding the My Apps that is displayed occasionally on the infotainment center. He also answered our question as to possible causes of the Forward Crash system displaying occasional unavailability while driving. He guided me to the waiting room and said he would let me know of any issues. Shortly thereafter he came as showed me that the Cabin Air Filter and Engine Air Filter were very dirty and should be replaced - which I okayed. I noticed the car parked in the driveway at about 1020am. At 1040am I proceeded to the cashier to pay the bill; I stated that it would have been nice to have been told the car was ready and I didnt need to sit there unnecessarily for 20 minutes. She apologized, but I never saw Bill after I okayed the filter replacements. I think that is odd, but this being my first time to this dealership - maybe that is how business is conducted. Ill have to think about whether I return for the scheduled service in December.
Friendly serviceEric was very helpful and supportiveNo high pressure sales tactics, such a relief
I recently purchased a vehicle through Libertys online sales team. Talk about a well thought out, easy and convenient way to purchase a vehicle. Liberty GMC has a great program AND people in place. I had the pleasure of working with Juan Manrique as my sales profession. Juan exceeded in meeting my needs, requests and expectations throughout the process!I never felt pressured, but at the opposite end, I did feel attended to with prompt and complete communication. I am sure in a non-personal, distant sales relationship (1800 miles away), that is not an easy task. When I am looking for another vehicle I will definitely look to Liberty GMC.
This place is an absolute JOKE. I applied for a job and met with A woman from the cashier department. She was nice… at first. Then I did all my new hire paperwork and met with Sam Ganczaruk the service manager. After my interview he didn’t even tell me if I got the job, I had to be the one to call and figure it out for them. Finally Lexi got back to me with a TEXT saying they wanted to proceed with me. I went down there to drop everything off and she proceeded to say that Buick wanted someone over there, but she “wanted to keep me at GMC and fight for me to stay there”. Pfff. So I go about my day. Two hours later she texts me and says “I want you to meet with the office manager at Buick”. I said okay, but I got the courage to ask why. She said “because they really need someone” so I just politely said, “I’m sorry, I will be accepting another job offer”. Do NOT WORK OR BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE.
If you’re in the market for a GMC, or any of the vehicles from here, ask for Ryan Shippy! He’s awesome, straightforward and does things right. He’ll check to see what you qualify for before you begin so your time isn’t wasted.Tell him you saw Gabe Zermeno’s review if you like!
Shawna Broome was great. She helped us through the process by explaining everything and keeping us informed on progress. She also made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Thanks Shawna!
Adam and everybody were very helpful, polite and made the whole process a breeze! If needing another GMC, will definitely be back to Liberty GMC!
Bill Large was my service advisor. My truck went into limp mode, leaving me without my work vehicle. When I called to schedule the service, I was told they were very busy and would try and get to it. When I had the vehicle towed in, I spoke with Bill and told him my circumstances. He had my truck repaired and back to me the very next day. My truck ran great, and the customer service was excellent! Thank you Bill and the techs at Liberty GMC!
Chris Scott and his team were amazing. Quick, easy, no hassle!
The work done is good so far. They got me in pretty fast to fix a brake issue. The person that wash the vehicles needs to have more pride. I brought my truck in freshly washed and got it back parked on a line where it looked like they got a hose out and just hosed it off a little with water mixed with dirt drying all over the truck. I wished they wouldn’t have washed it at all since my truck is black and obviously they were in a hurry to leave on a Friday.
Steve cox our sales rep was outstanding. he answered all of our questions immediately and without hesitation. sat with us in the truck, showed us how to use all the accessories. it will be my pleasure to send my friends and acquaintances to Liberty gmc to let Steve Cox sell them a beautiful gmc truck like I own. we are very pleased with our beautiful sierra 1500, cayenne red tint-coat, wow it draws attention wherever we are. thanks Steve Cox for making our adventure a great one. we love our new GMC Sierra 1500!jimmy weber
We have been going to Liberty GMC since 2011 when we bought our first GMC vehicle and have always used Jim Sepe as our service advisor. He has always been up front and honest, looked out for us, and done his best for us when servicing and repairing our vehicles. We appreciate his friendship, knowledge, and service and will continue to count on Liberty GMC in Peoria, AZ to help us with our needs. Thank you.
This dealership is the worse. I’ve have never been to such a terrible dealership. We traded my wife’s car in just to find out they did the payoff wrong now we have to go back and undo the deal. Then someone at the dealership won’t say a name was mean to my wife. I wish I could give negative stars. I would.
AS always, Jim Sepe did a fantastic job. He always keeps me informed of the condition of the vehicle repair, and lets me know when theres a delay due to parts or technician availability. Bottom line: I trust Liberty GMC to fix my vehicle right the first time. Just exceptional service!
You buy a luxury car expecting for it to drive what it’s worth. My car has been in the shop more than it’s been in my home. Service is horrible. When purchasing a car they are the sweetest of people. When you bring it in for repairs under warranty they do not want to cover them.
Vanessa always takes care of any of my concerns. I can just call her.hwe and it is done. She is a hard worker. I am glad to have came in contact with her.
Knowledgeable staff and very friendly. A place where they care for their customers satisfaction. I’ll definitely be going back for my next auto purchase!
Great customer service, oil change very fast with out appointment thanks, to buy any car please ask for James Cooper, he will do his best to make sure you are happy with your new purchase or trade-in, 👍💪😀!
Sales team made me a deal I am very happy with and we love our new terrain!
Ryan Shippy is like family. He is the best! We told him what we wanted and he made it happen. We will not buy a car anywhere else.
Emad was our salesman & he was excellent. We didnt feel pressured & all of our questions were answered with professionalism. Everyone helped us with courtesy & professionalism, from the sales manager, the girl in insurance department & the gentleman in finance. We definitely had a great experience with Liberty GMC & am very happy with our new GMC Terrain.
Service was good. Had some blue spots on my truck. Then I had to replace my things in glove box that were left on floor board. Service guy helped with blue on outside door.
Very friendly staff and did repair quicker than expected!🙂
The only dealership I will take my car to! Always the most professional and friendly staff. I would recommend my service advisor Erik to all my friends and family.
I would never recommend Liberty for the sales department. I will never try to buy, or browse Liberty for a new or used car. But, Bill is my service advisor and he is why I have service done, and would recommend your service department.
I had indicated to the operator making my appointment as well as the service advisor that the steering seemed to have a knock and play in it. This was indicated on the service intake form. On my post service report there was no mention of this being checked. And the service advisor did not follow up with me. After not being satisfied, I took my truck to Van GMC and they diagnosed an issue that would need the steering column replaced. This service is still in progress. I feel that your dealership did not take my issue seriously.
I purchased at GMC Denali Duromax in April 2021. Very good experience as we went through the process and had to work out a couple issues that arose from the agreement of the purchase and the actual documents that we being signed. I was pleased in how they handled it. A few days after purchase it was leaking Transmission fluid and Liberty GMC took care of the issue quickly. The only part that was disappointing was the fact that I explained the vehicle would be plated in Ohio. In Mid May I took the documents I have to the Ohio DMV to get plates and they sent me to the title office because it was not titled in Ohio. It’s been a real pain getting the original AZ title to Ohio so I can get plates. When I requested the documents they sent the title office copies. I was under the impression at the time of purchase that the dealership would handle this for me instead of passing a telephone number to contact and let me figure it out on my own. That’s either get 3 stars.
Our experience was excellent, James was amazing very professional. If anyone needs help finding a car James is the guy that will help you find what your looking for. Excellent service!!
Lydia made the buying process simple and easy. I am very pleased with this dealership.
I bought my vehicle on May 1st, it took over three weeks and 5 phone calls to get scheduled to get the bed liner and tonneau cover put on. Then when I picked it up, all the fittings for the tonneau cover were loose and falling off. The rubber pieces were hanging out all sloppy… I’m surprised the entire cover didn’t fly off on the freeway, all 4 clamps were loose.. And when I called and left a message no one called me back… it’s been 3 days and I still haven’t gotten a call back. I want the $105 back that you charged for installation, the job was not done properly. You should be ashamed.
Jay Saltz was wonderful to deal with. He always kept me in the loop as far as where my truck was and when it would arrive.
This place is a joke on the service department, trying to get an oil change on my 2021 Yukon Denali (first one) and I’m told that I will have to wait 1 1/2 weeks for an appointment?!!! What happened ?!!!! Rude personal (Erick) service department and very unprofessional.
Thank you for you for your friendly service. And... thank you for sponsoring our Sun City West Senior Softball program. Dennis.
ERIK HERNANDEZ IS THE BEST! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!
Awesome experience. Service advisor took my vehicle in without an appointment and got it done! Appreciate his work ethic and will be back
Very pleasant felt the trust of my service advisor
Great customer service! I liked how the dealer provided lyft transportation so I could get to and from work while my truck was being serviced.
I called service dept. on Tuesday, I was getting service messages and needed to find out what they meant. I talked to Richard in the service dept. and he told me not to slam on the brakes and to get the SUV in on Saturday when Erik would be back from vacation and they would fit me in some time that day and figure out what was wrong with my SUV. Erik called me around 2 in the afternoon and explained in detail what had been going on with the SUV and that they had figured what was wrong with her. I told if she starts giving those error messages out again to bring the SUV in and they would change the battery. The service was excellent from Richard to Erik and I have my beautiful SUV back and no error messages. Thank you so very much
Very accommodating to what I needed. The service was prompt, customer service was perfect.
This was my first time using the service department and it was the best experience. Erik was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I always worry that I will get taken advantage of when my vehicle needs service and it never crossed my mind when I dealt with Erik, he even took care of my key fob needs and not because he had to but more because it needed to be done and put my mind at ease. Class act, I will definitely return. Best experience ever!
Jay Saltz was fantastic. Just made the process very easy and supportive of all my questions.
I brought my SUV in for an oil change. It’s always a pleasure dealing with Eric, my service advisor. Everyone in your service department is friendly and helpful.
Very disappointed customer. I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday late afternoon. Was told that they would need (6) hours or a day for the repair. They were nice enough to get me a rent-a-car for the amount of time they were keeping the vehicle. 2nd day in they sent a message stating they need more time and extended the car rental for an extra day. That was all great. The repair turned out great. The disappointed part is when I picked up my vehicle (keep in mind it was dropped off clean) this is what I got when I picked it up. I dont have a kid nor does anyone in my household or neighbors have someone with that little of feet. How does someone put their child on someone elses vehicle? Very rude.
Eric and Richard and Ed are awesome and always take care of my car and keep it running smooth.
Our salesman Emad Rabadi was extremely friendly and fantastic to work with. The whole process was great and now we are enjoying our 2021 Acadia. Thanks so much !!!!
I was in and out in a limited time, for my oil change as always, I had a new service advisor, and he introduced himself, very pleasant, and let me know if there was any problems, he reminded me that my tires will need to be replaced soon.I stayed and waited for the oil change in the waiting room which was very peaceful and quiet,Thank you Liberty Buick-GMC
Jim Sepe is my Service Manager and I cannot say enough about Jim. He is always very thorough, courteous/communicates extremely well and he always provides great service! Jim is the best service Manager I have experienced in all the dealerships where I have conducted business. In addition, the work done on my vehicles has always been great. My compliments to you, your service team and especially to Jim! Thank you, Joe Meza
The customer service I received from Sam @ Liberty Buick, and from General Motors was AWESOME! I am very happy with the work that was done on my Suburban. Thank you!
My Service Expert, Erik H, is always so helpful and listens to the things I am looking to do for my vehicle and helps me make informed decisions. He is simply amazing.
Overall a good experience. Was late for original appt time but was accommodated and helped immediately upon arrival by Eric. I would recommend this dealership for service on your GM car/truck/suv.Thanks Liberty GMC!
They were all very helpful and pleasant. Was very pleased with the service.
Ill be picking up my 2021 Yukon XL next week. But I wanted to go ahead and say THANK YOU to Jay Saltz! He has been amazing! I have five kids and finding the perfect vehicle to meet our needs is tough. Jay was response and very helpful. He was not pushy and listened to my needs. I had other dealers REFUSE to allow me to test drive a new Yukon with my five kids because they were selling so quickly and they didnt want to put miles on the car without agreeing to purchase. However, they are redesigned and to know if they fit our family, I needed to drive it with the kids in tow! Jay said OF COURSE! He even pulled the car in the shade and had it cooled off and ready for us to go when I got there. Gave all the kids cold water and was just a pleasure! My car got delivered to the delivership today and is getting prepped--he sent me pictures and has updated me on the process. And BIG BONUS - Libery GMC is one of very few dealers NOT marking up these SUVs over MSRP.
Adam was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very flexible in showing us different vehicles and talking about all the features. One of the best experiences was their style of not trying to pressure customers into all these unnecessary costs and upgrades and let the customer voice be heard.
This visit for replacing the recalled airbag was fine. The reason for the 0 rating on likelihood to recommend is twofold. When we originally bought this vehicle it rolled backwards in drive on an incline. Also, the dashboard started cracking early on and it currently has eight cracks in it. Not only LIberty GMC, but GMC Corporate, both REFUSED to fix both of those issues. So, I REFUSE to ever recommend GMC, or buy another GMC vehicle.UPDATE 04-29-21: I emailed Mr. Weatherly 2 weeks ago, 04-15-21 at his request below to discuss my review. He has not responded to my email.
GREAT SERVICE CAME FROM OUT OF TOWN AND THEY TOOK CARE OF ME LIKE I BOUGHT THE TRUCK FROM THEM.
My service advisor, Jim, was great and the repair was done to my satisfaction. But the cost was out of line with what it should have cost and was more than I was quoted. When I challenged the final cost with the cashier, I was told I was wrong and I had agreed to the cost, which was not correct. After I contacted my service advisor the next day, he also agreed that I was charged too much and corrected some of the overcharge, which he gave me as a credit on my account, which really should have been a refund to my credit card instead, although not all of the overcharge was credited back to me. I was overcharged by about $200 and was only credited back $85. I thought I could trust that the quote I got over the phone after they had looked at what needed to be done, as the correct cost, but was charge about $200 more than that quote, which they adjusted by $85 after I complained to my service advisor. Looks like I cant trust a verbal cost quote from the dealer in the future.
Not willing to step up on my trade. Still using the ancient Four Square method of negotiating. Hard pass.
(HONOR)the reason why am giving it a one star is because...my experience with liberty GM went from a great to a bad experience for a first time buyer ....i looked at a beautiful used 2020 gmc sierra online for $50,999 and i thought it was a good deal ...we met james cooper he was very friendly and helpful i knew i had no credit and i probably needed to leave a good down payment and my interest could be higher than most for the vehicle that i wanted ... after more than 4 hours trying to get approved... finally i got a loan after all that time they didnt even knew the price of the truck yet ...the tag said $59,999 but i had ask james if that was the price and he said not to worry that it was cheaper which i knew!!! close to signing the deal i ask james how much was the truck he said $54,999 after that i showed him the price online He made us felt really special wen he said he was gonna (HONOR) the price 50,999........!!!!!! James has been working for 5 years for the company .... for a while he left to talk to a manager he didnt came back . Manager Julian Grubbs came back instead he said it was a BIG NO NO on the price... it was a BIG LOSER .that i was even lucky they where making a dael with me. Out the windows I saw James very upset because the company didnt backed him on his deal ...After 5 hours i agreed on there deal... it was a really bittersweet experience ... hope to hear from management
