Best experience I have ever had getting my cars oil changed. It was a woman at the desk, wish I would have got her name. Which as a women is refreshing not dealing with being over charged or feeling like the men are taking advantage of your money “because you know nothing about cars.” I was in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommend. Was straight to the point in and out so I could get on with me day!

The service was really quick. They called to ask if I wanted my cabin filter replaced while they were changing my oil, which I appreciate them looking at. Ill definitely be using them again.

I booked my appointment online and the ladies there were very personable and on time. They had my oil change done quickly and I will go back there again.

Needed a new Meineke location as the previous one I had been using was sold to someone else & the new owners were not working in my best interest. This location was unfortunately not much better. I will continue to look for a Meineke dealer that wants my business & won’t tell me things just to make a buck.

I strolled in here last minute one day because my brakes were making a lot of noise suddenly. I had gotten them checked at least three times in the last year at my favorite place, who apparently didnt really check them. I also had a receipt from Nissan claiming they were good at 8 MM just a few months prior. My brake pads were like an uneven slice of cheese, literally metal grinding on a metal with chunks of metal missing. My rotors were pretty bad too. The lady there took me in right away, had a diagnosis within minutes and was straight to the point which I like. They seemed pretty knowledgeable. They may have been about 50 bucks more than places like Firestone even with coupon, but I think I got much better honesty, quality and service. Was in and out of there in under 2 hours.

Made appointment, Upon arrival they took car in immediately and went to work. Price was Better than shop a few blocks away that takes walk-ins. Work was professional and thorough !

Continued to try to upsale to me, as they assured me all work had to be done that day. Repeatedly told them, I would schedule work for next month. After bulling me into spending another $200+, under the premise of a deal, only available that day... When I went in to pay, the price went up even more, rediculas! I paid pretty much the original price. Wont get my business again! GO TO WILHELM, A+++ service! Great prices, you pay what they quote you over the phone, ALWAYS! Shouldve listen to my wife, its were she always takes my car!!!!!! Meineke = less than standard service and dealer prices (and we know how those are!!). Not worth it go elsewhere!!!

I generally buy and maintain older vehicles. I was looking for a shop I could trust to give my business to for many years to come and keep my vehicles in good working condition. This shop charged over$500 for front brakes and rotors ($60 in parts) and kept pushing to charge more to replace parts that were newly installed 4 months ago. They displayed a lack of knowledge and competence in their questions and suggestions. I will be sure to steer my employees and patients well clear of any Meineke Car Care Center.

FRAUD ALERT! STAY AWAY!Brought my company vehicle in to this location to have 4 tires changed. After several hours of waiting in the lobby I was approached by Michaela (manager/owner?) who proceeded to tell me that the reason it was taking so long was because I was missing a tire pressure sensor. Im in the automotive industry and the vehicle was new and had never had the tires changed before. It was VERY clear they broke the sensor when removing the tire from the rim but instead of just owning up to it, they chose to lie to my face. They literally expected me to believe that a tire pressure sensor was just missing from when the car was built. I questioned her about it and she continued to lie to me telling me it just wasnt there and they refused to replace it. I left with a tire pressure light on due to the sensor they broke and had to file a claim with my company to have the vehicle fixed properly.Stuff happens, I get it, but when you lie to your customers in an industry like this, its a clear indication you dont care about your customers. If theyre willing to lie about a $70 sensor, think what theyll lie about in regards to your vehicles needs?! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

This Meineke location has awesome staff that repeatedly help me with all my car needs. A previous repair shop couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my car, but as soon as Ana saw my car, she gave me a thorough oil change and immediately recognized that my car a bad secondary air injection system and saved me a headache. I receive email vouchers from meineke regularly since i have taken many of our cars there over the years. The voucher was for a $17.95 oil change. Says click here to book. I did that. Twice they have refused to honor the voucher. Something about because they topped off the fluids which the voucher says nothing about. I booked the oil change and no one ever asked about topping off anything! Anyway since they then charged over $40 for my $17.95 oil change, we wint be back! And we will make sure anyone we know knows about their new tactic. While they are never cordial or even just nice, she made sure she said have a nice day every so sarcastically when i left. Shes never even thanked for the business let alone said have a nice day! This is twice now just in the last month that they played this game! Never again!

I would like to give a 1 star review but I’m considering the actual work done to my car, which was an oil change. That was done fine. However, I wasn’t too happy about the scheduling of my appointment and pricing. Online, the option to schedule an oil change has misleading times and no prices listed. In addition, there were advertised coupons that I could not use or choose. When I called to confirm pricing I was told a basic oil change would be $24.99. When I walked out the door to pay, I paid a grand total of $46. Not too happy.

Had my spark plugs and oil changed. John was very helpful when I called. The service was done quicker than expected. However, the two days later I had to go back because they didnt refill all of the fluids that is included with an oil change.

Replaced front rotors and brake pads. Called me back and said how much the cost would be plus tax. I agreed to have the work done. On the receipt, there was a $30.00 fee for shop supplies. It would have been courteous if this extra $30.00 was brought to my attention when they called me back. Don’t think I’ll be bringing my vehicle back here again.

This is a progressive and professional car care business. The women that serviced my car made me feel welcomed, and that my car was in good, honest hands. I got a fair price and left assured that they went above and beyond in their service. I will be returning and recommending my friends to support this business.

There service rates are reasonable & they would try to work with you in making payments. They are very transparent of explaining problems & whats needed for my car. Thus far I get excellent service.

Me and my mother know very little about cars... we got my moms oil changed and they told us our brakes were looking bad and we would need new ones... she gave us a paper with prices if we got our brakes done it came out to 700 bucks so me and my mom went to another mechanic just to be told they were fine... don’t let them take advantage of you here would not recommend at all

I dont come to this Meineke (83rd & TBird) just because its run by women. I come here because they are ALWAYS straight with me & I am never pressured into services I cant afford. They make recommendations, make sure that I know what needs to be done sooner rather than later. I first used this Meineke in 04 for transmission repair & wouldnt hesitate to recommend this store to anyone looking for reliable car repair

It has a couple female mechanics which I found refreshing. I got an honest assessment of my vehicle unlike Larry Miller Hyundai. I appreciated the mechanic letting me know other issues that the dealership clearly ignored. She then offered to inspect the issue I wasnt even bringing my car in for initially. It appears to be an establishment of integrity and honestly. I would definitely return!

Love the fact that this place seems to be run by all women! But most importantly, they were super quick, friendly and seemed to be very honest. I have already recommended them to a few of my friends!

Went to this location this morning on 83rd Ave and after getting a brake inspection they told me all 4 pads needed to be changed which I already knew. But I also knew it needed rotors and hardware but they didn’t mention rotors until I pressed them. They then quoted me $100 more than what another shop did who was more thorough and transparent. So I declined the service over the phone and went to pick up my car and that’s when it got worse.When I arrived my car was sitting in the parking lot with all 4 windows rolled down. My car like most people’s cars contain valuables inside. When I made my concerns known to the lady in front she blew me off saying that it’s hot and it’s normal practice to leave the windows rolled down and there are cameras in the parking lot! Well what does being hot have to do with leaving the windows down on a parked car? Further more, cameras don’t stop people from stealing things in plain view and given easy opportunity. I own and operate a security company, but that should be common sense! After getting a attitude with the woman who at the counter I talked to the manager and she had the same attitude and lack of concern. I would NOT RECOMMEND this establishment. This is the closest shop to my house but I will never go back there for any reason!

Went here for a quick brake check and for quote. Thought it was the back brake but ended up being the front! They explained how and why. Then asked if I had the brakes to bring the prices lower to help me out. Super thoughtful of them that I went right ahead with a brake flush as well. Within a hour and half they had it all changed out. Paid about 210 for everything. Wasnt bad, was hella fast, they did EVERYTHING they said they were going to do. I left happy and I know you will too.

Staff was friendly but my car started leaking oil after an oil change. They were nice enough to inspect the car after and found that one of the seals was missing and asked me to bring my car back in if I had any problems. First experience with an oil leak like that. Figured I would try meineke since it was closer to where I live, but going to stick with the dealership instead.

After waiting around for 3.5 hours for a place down the street to do my oil change, I called Meineke and they were incredibly sweet, patient, and efficient! We were in and out in 20 minutes. This place saved my butt! I was having an absolutely terrible morning and waiting around with a toddler is never a stress free task. Their prices were cheaper then anywhere else Ive gone, they never tried/pushed any additional car maintenance/repair sales on me, and they work on BMWs (which is difficult to find someone who does as it is). I cant thank you guys enough for putting an end to a miserable/stressful morning! Thank you!

I went in for an oil change and during the inspection was told that my back brakes were almost metal on metal and that I needed to get them done right away. Sceptical (as I was not hearing any squeaking or feeling as if my brakes were off) I decided to wait and get another opinion. I went to a second shop and had them do a brake inspection and the second shop had told me that I still had 6mm left on my brake pads. Im glad I trusted my instincts and didnt let them take advantage of me.

I just recently moved from Illnois to Arizona. I was going to get oil change done for my Kia Soul. The service took forever i left because of how the owner John was yelling and cursing at his techs. I felt that was very inappropriate and need to be addressed. You should never curse at your tech when there are customers present. I was shocked; i got my keys and left went to kia around the block to get my oil change.

I never do reviews, mostly due to my busy lifestyle. However, when you make my mother uncomfortable and cry, I feel something needs to be addressed! My mother is 62 years old, and tends to be a very trusting individual. She decided to try your place for a simple oil change. During the process your company attempted to sell her a bunch of items. My mother described the man as an older man, bald head, and raspy voice. Unfortunately, she did not remember his name. She felt like she was being pressured to buy, and this man was very angry towards the end as well.Last week, we had a second opinion done, and according to the guys at Larry Miller Toyota everything looks great!I am sad to hear this, as all my friends have told me to stay away from dealers over the years. I have taken my cars, plural, several times. Each time I was told I had an internal oil filter and charged me $30.00 more. They wanted to charge me $600 for a tune-up, told me I needed new brakes for $300. I took my car for a second opinion, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. This time, I took it to a different place for an oil change, I was told I was missing 3 screws, the oil filter was put in incorrectly, and was missing a gasket, I was lucky it didnt spew oil everywhere. Never again will I go here.

BEWARE!! This location is a joke. I took my car in for an uber inspection and oil change. They look for anything to be wrong with your car. They told me I needed a new air filter, so I had them do it right then, then they said I needed $1200 of work done. So I took my car into the dealership to get a second opinion and they said nothing was wrong with it. I appreciate your associate, Adrianna, wasting my time and proving all the car shop stereotypes. Taking advantage of a female who brings a car in and trying to get the most money out of them. Seems like a normal business practice at this location. This was completely unnecessary! Maybe Meineke should teach their associates the difference between oil and armor all. This was my first and last time to Meineke. I suggest you go somewhere else to save time and money!

This is my usual location for regular oil changes and other services and has been for my last two cars. The service has always been fast, friendly and reliable and there are two women who are always there and give great service every time!

Your original message (6/25/2019 8:54:22 PM Central ST)I went to Meineke on Thunderbird Rd. in Peoria, AZ. for a oil change on my 2014 Mustang. They advertised a $19.95 basic oil change which brought me in. Upon arriving I decided to get the synthetic blend in which I was quoted a price of $34.95 plus more if the car needed additional oil. While waiting for the car to be done I was approached by a employee that told me my car calls for fully synthetic oil which would be a $69.95 charge. I reluctantly agreed as I did not want to put in the wrong oil. When the car was finished they handed me a bill for for $137 which they did reduce to $119 after being stunned and complaining how ridiculous that price was for a oil change. I went to the Ford dealer in Glendale Az. afterwards and found out the car does not require fully synthetic oil and that they use semi-synthetic oil for the oil changes on my car. On top of that I could of had a complete oil and filter change done at the dealership for $49.95 which is less than 1/2 the price that Meineke charged me. I felt very deceived that Meineke was not up front with the total pricing. I went to Meineke to save money on a oil change as dealers are usually higher in price than most other independent car shops. Was I ever wrong. Needless to say I will never return to Meineke for any services or recommend them to anyone. I have never dealt with any shop that does not give you a upfront price for a simple oil change in my 50 years of automobile ownership. Got my oil changed fine, but they didnt look to see or tell me my battery cables went to hell.

Went in not knowing what was going on with my car. Did a diagnostic and explained everything to me; the manager even showed me on my car exactly what was wrong. Great customer service! Ill be referring this place to everyone I know. Thanks for all your help.
