5 STARS to Employees. I Star to Poolwerks as Service Provider.Unfortunately and Sadly enough for the Customers AND (in the last year or so) for the employees.....Poolwerx has Continuously and RAPIDLY gone DOWNHILL.The staff has continued to make every effort to serve and support their customers as best THEY can.....However if Poolwerks does NOT provide the the required Tools and supplies for employees to do their job and sell the required products to their customers.... Customers WILL (and have) eventually find a store that will service and supply them with the chemicals, parts, etc....that are needed to maintain their pools. Several times I have been forced to go buy the required chemicals to another pool store closer to my home...This after having my water sample tested at Poolwerks, simply because the supplies have not come in for over a week or so. Very disappointing!!Sad enough....I noticed the many signs of Issues in the making during the first 3-6 months after Poolwerx acquired Suburban from Michael...however I gave the New Poolwerks Owners/Mgmt, the Benefit of the Doubt for the transition from Suburban to Poolwerks. Unfortunately, the new Management at Poolwerks never truly stepped up to the plate in making a great Pool Store (under the Suburban Pool name).... even better as was being marketed by Poolwerks Flyers, emails, magazine marketing, etc.I truly use to enjoy stopping by the store EVERY week to see the staff and chat for a few....have them test my water and sell me the chemicals (or parts) I may have needed that week (if any at all). It was always a stop that I would look forward to making every week after my golf game, thanks to the staff that I have known for over 20 years. However in the last year, it seems that with the exception of 1 or 2 employees, for the last year or so, seems the store is a revolving door with new employees that are there for a bit and then quit. Statistics show that Most employees dont leave their job because they dont like it....They leave their job because of Mgmt. For several months now, its become more and more disappointing to see how the stores have been deteriorating due to Top Mgmts lack of attention in keeping their stores supplied for their own Sales & Service...but for their Customers....not to mention how good employees have been leaving due to working conditions. After using Suburban Pools for 17+ years for all my equipment repairs/replacement parts and weekly Pool service 3 months a year...I have even stopped calling Poolwerks for repairs on my equipment or Weekly Pook service for close to 3 years now.In my humble opinion.... I have sadly noticed in the last 4-5 months that the few long-time employees that Poolwerks still have left that were ALWAYS Very cheerful, happy and vibrant while doing their jobs and serving their customers.... seem to be hanging on by a thread. And although they STILL continue to serve their customers with a smile.... They just Dont seem to be very happy anymore. If not for these employees.... I would have stopped supporting Poolwerks stores well over a year ago!!!Im not one to leave many Reviews, however after being a customer for 21 years....its sad to see what has been happening to this business since Poolwerks acquired the Suburban Pool Brand.

The only reason Im giving two stars is because the young dude at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Aside from that this place looks pretty run down. Noticed there was 3 guys in the back office that didnt offer any help until I waited about 10 minutes. Also saw a sign that says covid 19 precautions observed and masks required but none of the 3 guys had masks on. Not coming back here. Ill drive another 5 minutes to go to pinch a penny.

Good staff but this place has gone way downhill since Suburban days. Typically out of stock, even after the renovation. And I had to post the curtailed hours!

Update June 2021:I needed to add a a Nature2 Fusion In Ground Unit to my Pool. The vendor Fluidra (Nature2/Jandy) had Poolworx listed as a Authorized Reseller and Installer so I figured I would give them a second chance to redeem themselves. I like supporting local business when I can.A very nice person took my information over the phone and said someone would get back to me in a few days.Three weeks later I still had not gotten a call back. Same as the first time I asked for the Pool Heater quote. I wound up spending Over 8K with one of their local competitors on a Pool Heater and a Chlorine Generator and kept my older Nature 2 Vessel which I found out I can still get cartridges for. Doesnt make any sense why they would throw away possible large ticket sales like this. Not surprised at all. To bad I cant give negative stars.Original ReviewWe had used Suburban Pools at Pines & Palm for over 20 years and their people were always super nice and had good knowledge, Suburban always had a full stock of chemicals and accessories (Thank you, Henry!). Suburban was recently sold to poolworx and it is exactly the opposite of what it was. A few months ago I called about wanting to add a Pool Heater and it took them almost two weeks to respond. I figured they werent interested and someone else got the business. And a few weeks ago we went for water testing and it needed Calcium Chloride and they told us to go to Walmart since they had none. and finally today we again went for water testing and Liquid Chlorine and they said they had none, come back on Monday. Imagine a Pool Store with no Chlorine. This is like a Ribs Restaurant with no Ribs! We are done forever. There are other pool Stores in our neighborhood. I can also get all of the chemicals cheaper on Amazon and Walmart but we liked supporting local businesses. I doubt poolworx will last long at all.

This place is ok moreso if you have toddlers too small for Chuck E. Cheese. Its mostly bounce house type things (about 6) and a few games, but thats really it. They do have prizes you can get for tickets too. The only thing is that the bounce houses feel super deflated and a little unstable.
