Taekwondo gives other kids their belts after testing like giving them a second chance but yet cannot give other kids chances because they were traveling but they clearly know their form? Personally I don’t think the lack of communication that goes on in here should definitely be changed.

Our goal was to have our son take classes for the summer. What we didnt expect was for him to fall in love with the program..so much that he wanted to continue pursuing all belt titles. The classes not only became fun and a learning experience for him, but the staff were beyond friendly, loving, and full of excitement. We definitely will continue on, and next summer we plan on having our 2 year old daughter in the program as well. Totally remarkable!!

At first I went there for my son, after 2 or 3 classes I got in myself. Family classes are amazing, what a great opportunity to bond with your kids. Master Yu and Master Ray are awesome teachers. Its like a big family.

If you want your kids to learn discipline and self defense in a clean and healthy environment you cant ask for a better place. My son has been attending the school with Master Yu for about 2 years. He started at 4 years old. We have been treated with nothing but respect and kindness. Master Yu and Master Ray truly care for and are invested in their students. The facility is clean and well maintained. They are great with children and students of all ages. Yong in Tiger Tae kwon do is a great place to train. Master Yu is amazing with the kids, including my daughter and has helped her break out of her shyness to a point where she has become a fierce little tiger. He has also helped set me on a path to live a healthier life. Since i started, i have lost a substantial amount of weight from his vigorous but fair martial arts training. Master Yu, Master Rey and all of the instructors are amazing and helpful and know that we all come from all walks of life and help you get in shape at your pace while encouraging you to never give up. They genuinely love what they do and take pride in it. My daughter, wife and myself all train here. This is a place where families can learn martial arts while also bonding together. I recommend everyone come and train here.

I started my daughter in Taekwondo with Master Yu when she had just turned 3. She is almost 5 now and she is already a blue belt! He is simply amazing and its unbelievable the way he gets the kids involved from such an early age. He and his wife are very humble and I highly recommend his school for all ages!

My entire family has been going here for years. We had tried a different TKD school in the area when we first moved here but were not happy. We have NEVER been disappointed that we switched. Master Yu and his assistant instructor are amazing with all of the students, especially the young children. We love that there is a family class offered when all of us can practice together even at different belt levels...their dad even joined in the fun! Many years ago I attended yong in tiger tae kwondo, its a great place for people of all ages to learn tae kwondo and Id recommend it it anyone looking for a tae kwondo studio!

Imagine my surprise when I came across this school on the Internet. I stop by during a class to get some info to find the instructor fully involved. He starts a drill to keep the students busy and greets me right away. Points for service right there.I call my wife right away and have her bring our son over.My son was hesitant briefly when in street clothes Master Yu invites him on to the floor and had him punching, kicking, jumping, and laughing in MINUTES.We were sold then and there. Weve heard nothing but great things from other parents and even his older sister wants to join because it looks like fun...Just recently Master Yu and his wife Kim (they are both extremely friendly and courteous, by the way) had a picnic for some students (age apropriate, of course) and the families. WE HAD A BLAST!!Stop by, watch a class. Take a free intro class, but get there...!

My 6 year old has been practicing Tae Kwon Do at this location for over a year now. I must say shes come a long way starting out closed up in a shell with very little confidence. Its amazing how Master Yu, his class and methods have helped my daughter progress. Its crazy how he remembers all the names of the hundreds of kids that go there :-); he truly cares about them. I recommend this particular location w/Master Yu to any family. You will defintely see positive changes in your kids.

We were looking to get our 4 year old daughter into activities after moving into Pembroke Pines, Florida, and my wife heard about this Tae Kwon Do school. We had visited Korea and were impressed by the country and its people, so we opted to go with TKD instead of Karate. The day we went to visit, my daughter wanted to start right away. She was interested immediately. We registered her and got uniforms and she started the next week. Master Yu has a way with the young ones, making it fun while they train. My daughter goes 3 times a week and does not want to miss a day, even if she is in the woods. In has only been 9 months since we signed her up and she has already graduated 4 levels from her white belt and is testing for her fifth shortly. We are amazed at the progress she has made.The training here is amazing. Master Yu keeps them disciplined and his school is always very clean. You can smell the bleach when you walk in.If you want your kid to have a professional and disciplined training in Tae Kwon Do, I highly recommend Yong In Tiger and Master Yu.

I think there is no better reference than the one that comes from a childs heart:Hi, my name is Daniel Gomez and I am 9 years old. I started Tae Kwon Do before I turned 4. My dad was looking for a good Master to train me and one day we found the best: Master Yu. I went to my first class and I was the only students there. I had a great time that day because Master Yu was very clever and nice with me. I liked it so much that I went home and told my cousins Alyssa and Robert. The next class they came with me to try it and they loved it too. Since that day, five years ago, I looked forward everyday to come to my practices.In Tae Kwon Do I have learned self-defense like blocking, kicking, punching, forms and sparring. I have been to many local and state competitions and have won many medals and trophies. I also became part of our school’s Black Belt Club and then the Demo Team and those were the best teams ever. I enjoy training with my classmates and learning new forms and techniques. But most important I have learned that Tae Kwon Do is not about kicking and punching; it is about being on time, show courtesy and mostly about respecting people and your team.I’ve also learned that when I cannot do it the first time I have to try and try until I get it right. This family run business treats your child like royality. Master Yu is passionate about his craft and it shows. He pours his heart out each and every single day. He just loves working with the children, teaching them self confidence, discipline, and respect in a traditional atmosphere. He engages them to have fun while learning. My son (8 y.o.) and I (42 y.o.) started Tae Kwon Do with Master Yu about 2.5 years ago after trying several other martial arts locations. We currently take the family class in the evening. My son started in the little tigers and moved up the junior class until he was old enough for family class. My second son (now 4 years old) started 1.5 years ago in the little tigers class. We have never been happier.We love the classes and the individual attention we get from Master Yu and the other instructors.Master Yu is AMAZING with the children. Having an incredibly shy child who would not even step on the mat in two other TKD institutions, Master Yu drew him out of his shell and got him involved at his own pace. 2 years later, this shy kid is now a high-red belt and has competed in two tournaments. Although he may not be getting gold medals, just getting up alone, in front of hundred of people, and doing his forms and breaking boards, is such an accomplishment. The self-confidence he has aquired from going to Yong-in Martial Arts is impressive. We attribute this to Master Yu.I would also like to mention that the other families we have met while attending classes are fantastic. The kids and parents who attend class and come to watch, have become like an extended family. I would definitely choose Yong-In Martial Arts to obtain my familys training, without a doubt!!
