Roadside assistant is a complete joke. If a female is stranded at night on the side of the road by herself she’s told to wait three hours for the tow truck to get there……That is not how roadside assistance works. It is an emergency, especially if it is at night and you expressed to the insurance agent assisting you are not in a safe place. As an insurance company who charges for road side assistance you should do your due diligence to find a tow truck that will get to your client a lot faster than three hours. I am definitely NOT in good hands…..Extremely disappointed.

Initially I was very excited to switch to Allstate after being with State Farm for over 7 years. I was given a quote over the phone that sounded great, but was told I needed to go into my local office because I had to sign a waiver because of an accident I had a few years back to exclude me as a driver. When I went in the agent said that was not possible, but it was fine because the quote was the same with my husband and me on the policy because my accident was not showing up. Sharon told me I was ready to go. A few days later I receive emails stating I need to show proof I was with State Farm for so many year. I submitted it. Then I receive emails stating she needs proof of payment (which you would think if I had been with them 7 years I was paying my bill). Finally, once I turn everything in Sharon emails me to let me know that someone deleted my accident from their system and my payment is going to have to go up and I cannot sign the waiver excluding me as a driver. I would have been better off staying with State Farm. They may be just as expensive, but at least the give you their pricing upfront!
