My smoke alarm has been going off non stop for the past 2 hours. I called the emergency line but they refuse to contact maintenance since this is not an emergency. I guess me unplugging my batteries and putting me and my family at risk during the night is more safe than having MAINTENANCE be contacted to call me and discuss what is going on.So now me and my three young school aged children will try to sleep with either fire alarms going off all night or try to sleep knowing that even if there is a fire we might not know because the overnight call center staff, Javier, cant do his job and contact maintenance. Unacceptable and absolutely unbelievable.

My roommate and I went in to apply for our very first apartment together, right off the bat the place was very clean & inviting! The agent helping us is named Eddie & the day of me writing this review is his very FIRST DAY, let me tell you MY MAN KILLED IT 💪Eddie was Polite, Professional, had a good sense of humor and was very welcoming to talk with.They answered all of our questions & let us tour the place!We got approved!!!Couldn’t be any happier with the location and service we received here, I definitely recommend this place for renters & first time renters especially. 💯

Just moved in. Move in process had its hiccups (nothing big) but the staff was very responsive and efficient with any fixes. Residents are very friendly, even offered to help move some of our bigger items. Happy with the move.

If youre looking for somewhere to stay in the Peabody area do not move into this complex. Worst staff and customer service ive ever experienced in my life. Took over 6 months to fix a broken dishwasher and they continue to lose any packages i have delivered.

THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX TO EVER LIVE IN. DO NOT SUGGEST LIVING HERE AT ALL! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EVEN WORST EMPLOYEES. SEVERAL PACKAGES HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM ME AND THEY DONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT LIVING HERE.

Electricity gone last 8 hours and no one trying to fix it and hard to sleep without Air conditioning and fans, theres no one known why power is gone no help hardly walk to stairs and came to my apartment, 👎👎👎

So far very happy .. Only thing is I’m lthe only one in my building that uses a the key to swipe to get in the building . Everyone els has a code to get in even people who have moved in after me .. I asked for a code but never got one was told they don’t do codes 🤷‍♀️.... Definitely the staff are friendly and maintenance fix things on a timely manner ...

Multiple recent incidents of water damage. I live up the top floor of 2200. ALL of these photos were taken in the earlier part of 2018. I had water damage to three areas. A storage are in the main building, My bedroom ceiling and my utility closet that is on the opposite wall of my bedroom. Its been a real PITA. Took them forever, months to fix everything. It took up a major portion of my 2018.I have so much to say but I wont be leaving a review like that until the moment I leave 14 North. Been here 16 years and I have LOTS to say. For some reason they keep trying real hard to remove my photos and videos of this mold damage that occurred. I uploaded a video to facebook and they deleted it. I uploaded photos on my review on yelp and 6 months later try to claim that this damage did not occur on their property but I have enough proof for it to stand up in court.I used to work for Google....Google Library Project...so please dont delete my photos without giving me the opportunity to prove they are real!

I lived here for 15 years now. The facilities and amenities are exceptional. Plenty of storage space and nice appliances in our unit. I have found the staff to be excellent; very responsive and courteous. When we had a couple of small items to be fixed, the maintenance person arrived immediately to fix them. The other residents here are very nice and responsible. The location is terrific. I highly recommend 14North

Lauren and Nico in the front office were the kindest and most welcoming leasing agents I have ever met. We feel right at home here and the apartments are beautiful and well maintained too. We could not be happier!

Marina resident manger is amazing so helpful, patient and kind she answers all my questions to best of her ability. We love her !

As of right now everything is a breeze!Moving in was smooth and a fast process!There were small hiccups probably because maintenance was lazy but overall. I love my space and all of the amenities!The neighbors upstairs are SUPER LOUD!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! The staff that works here are rude, ignorant, and liars. These apartment complex is full of thieves looking to steal your money. The neighborhood is unsafe and not a place for anyone looking to raise their children. The tenants sell drugs out of their homes. If you bring your children to the park old men with no children will sit there and watch your children playing. I should not feel uncomfortable in my own home. I do not feel safe living here at all. I doubt the staff do thorough background checks on the people who live here. While I was pregnant my apartment was broken into twice within weeks of each other and when I reported it to staff I got attitude and the response what do you want us to do about it. A man in a hoodie was outside my back door trying to break down my door. The man ran off when I got a weapon and told him I was calling the police. I contacted the police several times and there was nothing they could do about it. The staff were more concerned about the rules regarding breaking your lease then my family’s safety. If you report an issue expect to be retaliated against and sent an eviction notice the next day. Be prepared to hear the tenants fighting and yelling with each other and the police are called for domestic disputes all the time. On top of that you are charged for every little thing from receiving mail and packages to parking. You are basically paying for an “upscale ghetto”.

Where do I begin? Moving to this complex was one of the worst decisions I ever made. Do not believe UDR’s tagline “we care”, and “you’re family “. UDR is not in the business of providing luxury apartment living. Inside of one year I was without a working washer, dryer and refrigerator and AC for two months. The hot water heater is outside in a closet that requires the pilot be turned to keep it from freezing. You’ll pay for that added expense. You can literally feel the cold air coming through your subpar windows. I paid more for utilities and water than when I owned a 3 story house. There were 4 property managers in one year. Excuse after excuse. You will never hear from the office unless they are figuring out how they can extort money from you. Move out will automatically charge you to replace carpet. Beware, the prior tenant was also charged. BUT the carpet is not replaced. Once you move in you’ll feel just how matted and molded the carpet is. Lift up the carpet, which isn’t tacked and you’ll find urine stains from the prior pets. Even if you point out the condition at move in you’ll still be charged. Don’t expect to be able to park your car anytime after 5 pm. Do yourself and your family a favor-rent from people who actually do care. I cannot imagine having to live here during this pandemic. Believe me when I tell you they are hard at work trying to figure out how to attach penalties and late fees. They cannot wait for courts to open and fill the docket with evictions-even if you pay your rent within that same month. There is no grace. There is no compassion. They do not care about their “families “.

The staff responds to certain people. They dont care if a complaint is true or not. They send threating notices. The people are judgemental. It is not a neighborly environment. Children get the codes for the individual buildings and run through the hallways bullying other kids and fistfighting.

I have seen management be flexible with special circumstances.

I am really happy with maintenance here lately at 14 North. I think I got one of the faulty hot water tanks that were recently installed at the community. I had to call maintenance when I had no heat & hot water not too long ago and Chris was here within a short time, re-lit my pilot & even gave me his number in case it went out again. Yesterday I had to call the Emergency Maintainance # and John, the on call worker who doesnt live around here or work at this community, was here within 35 minutes! He got a plumber here who didnt want to touch my tank. John told me the office was contacting the installation plumbers and even called me back last night to inform me they would be coming in the morning and offered to bring me a portable heater! Love living here at 14 North!!!

The property is very clean! They had everything we were looking for in an apartment complex. As soon as we went on a tour through this property, there was no question, no other place could compare. I am very excited to be living there soon!

Worst place ever to rent from... Especially there first floor units they have a huge mold problem my friend lived there for 8 years and her kids were always getting sick because of the mold and she had to throw away a couple thousand dollars worth of clothes bedding and furniture due to the mold issue this place should be shut down until they get the mold problem fixed correctly not just temporary fix them it comes back... On top of the mold the management are extremely rude and could careless about the health and safety of the residents. Instead of fixing the mold problem they tried to blame my friends saying her furniture was to close too the wall the wall needs room to breathe and she needed to keep her vents in her closet open at all times even doing these ridiculous things they told her to do the mold continued to come back...I would give 0 stars if it would allow me to. Please especially if you have kids do not rent one of there first floor units not sure about the other units on higher floors but I do know the first floor ones have huge mold problems.

Loved the place! Somewhat peaceful. Some neighbors were friendly others not so much! People within the community complain about EVERYTHING! Only problem I had was when I moved out. Took pictures of every room & seen that they took $560 to replace the one carpet I had in my apartment and said that there was rips and wholes in it. I feel as though that is a crazy amount for 1 carpet! So when you move out make sure to take pictures so they don’t try to take a bunch of money from you! Way to expensive for what you have to deal with.

Great place to live! I loved the ease to move in and it was just painless. Price is a little high but you get what you pay for! I got a great location, luxurious apartment and pet friendly for my lovely lab :) Win win!

Staff and apt itself aren’t the problem (although it is extremely overpriced for what you get) but the real problem is that you will have neighbors banging on their ceilings because you’re walking too loudly and then you will also have neighbors that will try and complain about everything you do. It would be a great place to live if the people that complained about everything (but smiled to your face) maybe focused more on the annoying and bothersome stuff they did on a daily basis!

Terrible management. They are making us pay to get our mail delivered, which is absolutely ridiculous. There is always something wrong with the apartment and when we put work orders in it takes them weeks to come and fix it. Sometimes they will just delete your work order without even fixing it!! Aweful place to live!! Will be moving out at the end of the lease!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE.... you pay close to $3000 rent you will come home to no parking and when you complain to the office they will tell you that it’s public parking your not guarantee parking unless you pay additional for a parking spot.My ac didn’t work all summer they put a window ac and when i complained because the house was still hot they maintence man said that it’s not his problem that I have to deal with it. When I told him it is his problem because I pay $3000 to live here he told me he doesn’t want to hear that he hears it all day.I have maintence request that get closed out as done and are never completed.Horriable Service very unorganized.

I currently live here. I would give then a 3.5 because the apartment is nice but the management is God awful.1. There was a package delivery room here where all packages would go. There are secured lockers there if you want more security and not search through piles of packages to find your own. But management is now not allowing any packages to be delivered to that room if you dont rent a locker for 25$ a month. There is no other options. Either you take the locker or they force people just to deliver things in the middle of the road (and I lost a 700$ package there) or you have to drive to USPS to pick up. It is basically extortion.2. The service is slow. I had to wait 2 weeks for my washing machine to be fixed. They fixed the exhaust fan in the main bathroom and next day it stopped working.3. People trash the corridors regularly and management wont do anything about it.4. They only have one garbage disposal area which is not located centrally so you have to carry your garbage a long way if you get unlucky.I was going to extend my lease and stay here for couple of years at least but the mail room fiasco is unacceptable. This sort of greed shows what the management is about. They only care about how to milk money from the tenant and dont give a damn about anything else. Dont rent here if you dont want to make multiple trips to post office every week.

We have only lived here for two weeks and have had a maintenence issue every single day. Most recently we learned that the computers in the business center do not work and the front desk expressed no intention of fixing this. We were without a working washing machine for the first two weeks. Extremely rude neighbors creating an unsafe environment. Very disappointing place to live. Would never recommend.

Police are always at this complex, there is always yelling late at night. Parking signs are constantly falling out of place and are not fixed for days. This complex is overpriced for the accommodations provided. It is also difficult getting a hold of office staff, several calls need to be made.

Moving in was easy - keys and garage remote were arranged beforehand. It took one day to set the internet access (ComCast). Apartment is clean. The carpet in the hall is a bit worn out, but it will be changed next week.However, things changed dramatically with the new management team. Responsiveness for service/maintenance has been degraded - last week request to fix a blocked sink has still not been addressed. We contacted the leasing officer for help but were met with a dont care attitude.

This place seems glamorous but after a couple days you will begin counting down until your lease is up. We have neighbors continuously banging on their ceiling when I walk across my living room because I am too loud. On top of that numerous restricted breed dogs live in this complex and one large pit bull who has had NUMEROUS complaints attacked my dog, attacked a different neighbors dog, and despite all these issues still manages to live here.I feel extremely threatened living here and fear for my own safety and despite telling that to the management team they do nothing about it. instead they mumble off some bullshit law about how im tied to my lease and there is nothing they can do to help me. I would move out tomorrow If they allowed me to, but instead I am stuck here for 8 more hellish months unless I come up with nearly $4,000 to break my lease.DO NOT RENT FROM ANY UDR APARTMENTI will be telling everyone and anyone I see getting a tour to avoid this place!I have lived in numerous complexes in different states and have NEVER had to deal with a situation like this. Trust me when I say living here will be the biggest regret of your life!On top of all this these are smoking apartments and do not tell you that when you are signing the lease. Dont be surprised if your neighbors are smoking in the buildings!

Staff/management has made it to dangerous to walk small dogs. They have a german shepard-not registered with ADA that has chased every dog in here, and a Doberman that bit my puppy. I cant safely walk outside. If i do get my dog outside, hard to walk cuz these large dogs (including the 2 pitbulls..but they r friendly) but so much dog poop....its hard to walk. I feel unsafe here-plus parking lot is so dark...this place could be nice, but management wont allow that.MY DOG AND I ARE NOT SAFE HERE.

A very beautiful place to live with families with children, playgrounds, walkways, a hot water pool and a jacuzzi. A fairly large number of parking spaces. Comfortable and beautiful apartments with many lockers in the kitchen and toilet, everything is new. I am delighted. Super.
