I had mismatched wood flooring and was a little skeptical that it could be made to look cohesive. With a little trial and error they were able to make it all look like it was all the same! I love it and he was so great to work with!

About a year ago I had these guys come and refinish the old hardwood floor that was hidden beneath my carpet. The floor was dirty, stained, damaged, uneven, cracked, and had tons and tons of holes from nails and staples. Davenport Flooring was very easy to work with. I have had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, but working with this guy was awesome. He was responsive, friendly, and didnt play games. He came when he said he would, and did the work within the timeframe he promised. I was blown away at how good the floor looked. So much better than I was expecting. They filled all the holes, and fixed bad boards. Its gorgeous. I like it so much that I plan to pull out the rest of my carpet and have them refinish the rest of my floor, instead of getting new carpet.

Kimball did a really awesome job at sanding and re-finishing our floors a couple months ago, they look great and you can tell he really insured he did the best job they could (which is a really great job). He was very nice, and informative and made me confident I can keep these floors nice for a long time. He was on time, responsive, and professional. I would certainly recommend.

I used to work for this place, so Im obviously a little biased. However, Ill tell you this, the service is quality, and the owner is honest. This company does quality hardwood flooring, that is designed to outlast your home. If you listen to the process, your floor will endure anything, and Kimball (the owner) takes pride in his work. Theyll take good care of you, in a timely manner, especially for the high quality job they do.

The guys at Davenport came in and saved my bacon on a job that was done by another hardwood floor company and never finished (in addition to cutting corners). Davenport came out, looked over the job, gave me a firm bid and then stuck to it. Sanded down (very cleanly I might add) all 1,400 square feet of my real wood floors and filled in the knots and cracks with meticulous detail, then put 3 coats of amazing finish. They look stunning ! Could not be happier with the result, with the crew and their attention to detail and professionalism !

I wouldn’t trust anyone but Kimball with my floors. I am convinced he is the best in the industry. I have been woodworking for 20+ years. It’s rare that someone surprises me with their magic. Kimball has done it multiple times.

We had another company install our hardwood flooring which turned into a bad experience. It was a Utah County one man business that had all positive reviews. Installation was good but the sealing process went sour. The guy walked off the job because he was asked to sign a release that he had been paid in full, very good thing to do to protect all parties. We had painters and cabinets on a very tight schedule which made the floor sealing crucial. I called Kimball late afternoon and told him my dilemma. Kimball explained that he had meetings that evening but would come at 9 PM so that we could stay on schedule. He showed up on time but texted us telling us he was on his way. We felt it was good that Kimball came and did the sealing because he uses a superior product then the original installer. Kimball has been to training at the hardwood factories in North Carolina, which speaks highly of his knowledge of hardwood flooring and products. He explained to us how to keep our flooring looking great for years and is getting us a product to make that happens. Kimball also arranged for a protective floor covering to be sent over so that the floor will not be damaged during the cabinet installation. He will be returning to put the final sealing on after the kitchen remodel is completed. We will have him come back in 5 yrs to do a maintenance sealing to keep our floor in tip top shape. I work in the public sector servicing homes and will recommend Kimball for hardwood flooring. Thank you Kimball, you are a true HERO!

I have worked with Davenport Flooring on multiple projects and have always been impressed with their work. Kimball always takes time to answer any of my questions and explains why he needs to do this or that on that particular project. He is very punctual and gets in and gets it done. I wish all of my other subcontractors were more like him.

Davenport flooring is my #1 flooring sub and they have done a phenomenal job on the last 20+ floors weve had them install and finish. Great with all hardwoods and complex flooring, great prices and always finished on schedule and on budget. Working in construction there willways be unknowns, hiccups or issues. Davenport and I have been able to address and solve each issue thus far and Im very confident in his abilities moving forward.We will continue to use Kimball for all our flooring needs. By far the best refinish flooring company Ive ever known..!!!

I had a bad experience with them one time. We had great experience with them 2 other. The bad experience may have cost me money, but I can’t hold it against them when my customer starts to be unreasonable.
