Great work and quick fixing my driveshaft and U Joints on the way through
Had service done back in November. Just getting to the review now. Ron was nice enough and got me in on a moments notice; however, he way overcharged me for a fuel filter replacement ($290) and didnt put my wheel well liner in right, so it blew off while i was driving. Had to pay $40 to get that replaced, too. Im sure there were other things that had to be checked with my truck, as two codes were being thrown, which would explain the price, but I was pretty disappointed about the wheel liner not being put back in correctly.
These guys are the best around. They have always come through for me in a pinch. Always willing to go the extra mile.
Best shop Ive ever used. Ron and his team are some of the best in the business.
That will be my diesel shop for now on, they are really good at what they do. So lucky l found them...
Great service, professional mechanics and reasonable prices! Highly recommend.
First of all, I want to say that Ron (owner) and his crew of mechanics are all very professional. My truck has a DD15. I was driving through Utah and I broke down. I took it to Payson Diesel on a recommendation from a fellow O/O. Cylinder #: 6 failed and coolant filled the oil pan and was pumped all over the engine. Therefore, initially, I had cylinder # 6 replaced (piston, sleeve, bottom end).My truck was repaired in a timely manner based on current capacity. I paid my bill of almost 9K and left. I was very happy and satisfied with the price and workmanship. Approximately 15 miles down the road I had catastrophic engine failure (engine locked up). Ron towed it back to his shop removed the engine, tore it down, and found it to be a rod and main bearing that locked up. Ron did the Honorable thing and rebuilt my engine within 1 week while I stayed in the Quality INN. After my truck was fixed I test drove it approximately 10 miles down the road and it locked up again. Ron towed it back to his shop and found the rods and mains were locked up again. This time I flew back home to Ohio. Ron as promised did the Honorable thing and is a man of his word fixed my truck for the third time. This time replacing everything (Conn rods, rods, mains, piston sleeves, machining the block and the used crank). To make a long story short, third time is the charm. My truck is running great. Ron as promised and a man of his word made everything right. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PAYSON DIESEL TO EVERYONE. ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WITH CAT ENGINES. Most importantly Ron did not charge me 1 penny to make it right for me. BTW Ron treated me like family, invited me to his home, and went above and beyond to assist me during the rebuild(s).
They were so good to me i took my truck in and they told me what was wrong for nothing thanks from A&S trucking
From OUT OF STATE CARRIERcalled the road service ... truck was 6 miles out, fixed right away andpaid $101. Knowledge and honesty here. I challenge anyone reading this review to share a smaller bill for road service. Excellent, top to bottom, anyone i spoke with. Keep it up guys!!!
Really awesome people! Ill use them again
Ron Brody awesome peopleThey know things to deal with
Hey, David White, maybe they dont like you. I had the Evans Waterless Coolant put in my radiator. They are top notch, if they werent they wouldnt have so many customers. Ron has been very helpful.
Payson diesel is awesome
We needed help with our truck in very short notice. Payson Diesel was very helpful and very friendly. we are very grateful for their service and will be going back this week.
Good service when you need something simple like a brake can done ASAP. In and out in 3hrs is good considering I just showed up with little notice.
I use them all the time. There a good honest shop. Fare priced and good so there busy.
Nobody in this country knows Cats better than Ron. Hes saved me a large amount of money through the years by setting up my engine to be efficient. What he charges is more than reasonable.
Took 10 months to rebuild a Cummins, lasted 2000 miles, took it back, now going on 2 months and still not fixed. Used to be a great shop, maybe Ron is getting ready to retire and has lost ambition, or maybe its because I dont belong to his Ward. I used to send people his way for repairs, but not anymore.......Update to previous review, Ron and I talked about my review and my concerns, he made good on the Dodge, up and running again. He stood behind his shops work even though in my opinion a vendor he used to fix the crank was at fault. Have had two other repairs done on our cat sense. Ron has scheduled me in and performed the repairs on time at a reasonable cost. It seems that Ron has made some pretty big changes in the shop. Im glad that he at least understood where I was coming from and undoubtedly took action to address my concerns. I would recommend Payson Diesel again.
I BROUGHT IN MY SEMI TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT THE FIRST TIME. THEY WERE KIND A FRIENDLY BUT NEVER CALLED TO GET PERMISSION TO WORK ON THE TRUCK. JUST DID THE REPAIRS AND GAVE ME A BILL. GOT THE TRUCK BACK WITH ANOTHER PROBLEM. IT WAS SOMETHING THEY WORKED ON. TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR FIXING IT. GOT INTO A ARGUEMENT WITH THE OWNER AND HE YELLED AT ME FINE I WILL FIX IT IF IT SHUTS YOU UP. JUST NEVER COME BACK. I DONT WANT CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU. THEY SEEM LIKE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I THINK. JUST NOT FRIENDLY OR KNOW HOW TO USE A PHONE.
Thanks for all the help . Low prices and high quality work.
