My 4 year old daughter loves this place! Since the beginning, they were all very attentive, professional and friendly. They are family-owned and make you feel like family. This place is also very clean and they do an amazing job cleaning after each class. I highly recommend this place!

Waverly Martial Arts is a class act. The instructors are amazing! Very considerate and genuine and truly care about what they do and seeing you meet your personal best both in fitness and discipline. Our daughter was struggling with focus and since her attending there she has done a complete 180 and is flourishing in all areas and is so excited to go to class. We love this martial arts studio. This is not your typical, punch, kick and break boards school. Their hybrid style of self defense and personal growth is creative and wonderful for children. My only regret is I didnt sign my kids up sooner. My wife has also joined the kickboxing classes and is seeing great results.The Sensei and Sempai are very good at what they do. They are patient, encouraging and fun. I recommend them to all my friends with kids that need to burn off steam, have fun and learn some life skills.

I would definitely recommend Waverly Martial Arts. When I started almost 4 years ago, I was a very shy person. I had low confidence and I believed that I wouldn’t achieve much there. The WMA family proved me wrong. They encouraged me and was there for me the entire way. I was greatly supported and by using their “Yes I Can” attitude, they made me believe I could accomplish anything I wanted to. They built up my confidence and my self-esteem. Amazing atmosphere and energy all around the minute you walk into this place. .. I would be lying if i said I didnt see a difference in our childs attitude and self esteem from the very first class. Shes litterally beaming with pride after every class. There is a ton of places you can practice martial arts but this is the only place with Jackie and Bobby and there wonderful staff !! makes me wish I was a kid again and could have as much fun as these kids are having at Waverly martial arts.

The kickboxing class is amazing!! I saw results faster than I ever did from any other workout routine I did. The environment is very supportive and absolutely nonjudgmental. Everyone there is there for the same goal, bettering themselves. A mixture of solo and group workouts during the kickboxing class allows for everyone to encourage and cheer each other on therefore creating bonds among the classmates, which makes you actually WANT to go to a workout class. I absolutely love this place. I have been kickboxing at a few different places throughout the years. Ur this one is by far my favorite. I love that Im am challenged every time I hit the mat. I often leave sore which is what I want to see results. I have lost 8 pounds in two months which is awesome. I have more endurance on the soccer field and I have a lot of fun working out with friends. Bobby and Jackie always keep your accountable and push you to achieve. Your highest potential. Both my boys took their karate classes and were very motivated. Highly recommend them for both kickboxing and karate.

I joined the adult martial arts class a few weeks ago, and it has been an awesome experience so far! Its a crazy good workout, and super satisfying to see your own progress in learning a new potentially useful skill. Most importantly to me, its really fun, and thats what keeps me coming back.The Sensais are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Everyone has great attitudes, and doing partner or group drills with the other students is a blastHighly recommend anyone to try it out!

I attended this school for 10 years. It was easily the best decision made in my entire life and even after I left (to go to college) I keep finding myself coming back to see how the school has improved over the years. The relationships I built with other students and the teachers are indelible.

Absolutely deserves all 5 stars and than some!!! We are so happy our family is now part of the WMA family. I enrolled my son (6 1/2 yrs) in the 7-13 group. I knew he would be the younger of the class but I also knew that he was mature enough to challenge him a little. Sensai Bobby and Sensai Jackie could not be more patient with my every question. Within less than eight weeks needed to test for his next belt, my son did it!!! Shout out to Senpai Johnny and Senpai Grace. They both are awesome with these kids and bring so much positive energy to each class. We strive to use the “Yes I can” attitude in our everyday life. I love that my son strives to be the best he can every time he hits that mat. #proudWMAmom.

Waverly Martial Arts is a great place for the whole family to learn karate or stay fit with kickboxing! The teachers are great with their students and work hard to make sure their students get to their goals. Very fun and hardworking workouts that will keep the whole family satisfied!

My son started with them in September and we are extremely pleased with his progress! He LOVES karate and wishes he could go all the time. My son was only 3 years old at the time and Waverly prefers that kids are at least 4. Sensei Bobby invited my son down for a little one on one and after a quick evaluation my son was invited into the program early. The staff is AMAZING with the kids. They are very in touch with the parents as well and even go so far to arrange opportunities for the parents to get together and mingle. Very family oriented and very friendly yet professional place.

As parents of children addicted to electronics I think we all look for something to take them away from fortnight or Road blox. As any other parent we tried soccer and baseball. But the hot sun, Gnats flying into our mouths and poor times slots affected us as much as them. My ex and I decided to try martial arts. We found Waverly. We took the opportunity of one of their low cost trials and free uniform to give this a try. Their multiple time slots during the week made it easy for two working parents, in two separate homes, for one if not both of us to make it to classes. Our daughter quickly fell in love with Martial Arts as did we. Weve all be at a competitive sports event with our children and had encountered parents yelling, kids fighting. This happens because in sports like soccer and Baseball all that matters is the W (win). At Waverly the only competition your child has is within themself. The attitude here is Yes I Can! The children are taught that there is no failure when they refuse to give up. One more push up one more sit up is a victory. Each child is taught that they are responsible for not only themselves but their classmates. They cheer and support one another. Theres no one left behind as they succeed as a team. Each child is taught to support one another. In the 2 plus years i have never encountered any negative interaction amongst the kids. When they step on the mat, white belt to black belt they all deserve equal respect and are given it. The Sempais have 15+ years of training and the Sensais (The Roeder Family) have 30+ years of experience. Other classes are offered such as their Sempai leadership training program which costs less than ten cups of that fancy venti latte people wast money on each month. I can tell you from experience that it is worth every penny. Want your child to grow past you expectations I suggest you give Waverly a try. Your child will make new friends and I can tell you that YOU will make new friends. When you step thru those doors everyone is family.

In almost a year, my then 3-1/2 yr old had some major Listening issues, he will now be 5 and he had majorly improved. For my first kickboxing class, I was nervous because I was checking it out alone, and I didnt have any experience. Sensei Bobby was instructing and did an AMAZING job integrating me into the class without making me feel like a new person, and without slowing the class down. Its a fun, high energy class, and variations to drills are always shown (to make them easier or more challenging). The class is what you make of it, and theres always lots of support from the other members through clapping, shouting quick words of encouragement, or just a friendly reminder to keep going! Class sizes arent too big or too small. Definitely a place to check out, and Im happy I found it!

Well my child needed all of this and got it and then some. My child has been going to WMA for 2 years now and it has changed her life and ours, oh and not to mention WMA got our child into shape and taught her some serious self defense moves. I absolutely LOVE being a part of the WMA family! My son started karate 3 1/2 years ago and I started kickboxing there about a year after. The senseis and sempeis that teach the kids are such amazing people- they all are so kind and encouraging. My son recently moved up to the adult class and is now a sempei himself. When he started years ago he was so quiet and timid. Now I see a confidence and maturity about him that makes me so proud. The kickboxing class is my home away from home. The people I workout with have truly become family- our kids have become friends while sitting together during our class. It is such a relaxed atmosphere and everyone from the instructors to your workout buddies are so encouraging. Everyone goes at their own pace according to their goals and fitness level which is so reassuring, especially when you are first starting! Kickboxing is great for all ages over 18- my parents recently started at 61 years old after seeing how much I enjoyed it. My dad goes to class more than me now- and thats alot!! I could seriously go on and on about how much I love WMA but I think everyone should just check it out for themselves!! :)

I was on the edge about joining kick boxing because I did not know what it was going to be like, but the second I walked through the doors everyone was so welcoming and nice. Each class is never the same. The instructors are constantly changing up the work outs and always make sure you push yourself. Joining kickboxing at Waverly Martial Arts has been one of the best decisions I made. I unfortunately had to leave because of an ankle injury, but if it was not for that I would have stayed joined for ever. Once I am fully healed I plan to go back. You will deff burn a sweat and get your moneys worth.

I tell them I firmly believe the structure, discipline and LEADERSHIP at WMA has helped lay a foundation that helped my nephew shed the past, be proud of himself and to be able to look to the future with confidence and an expectation to succeed.

Ive watched a lot of people work with kids and get frustrated . But when it comes to Bobby and Jackie theyre amazing. They have such a gift working with kids. I would leave my child there anytime. They are patient kind loving and they encourage the children . No better place for the kids to be.

They have a natural knack for understanding children and families that cannot be taught and many teachers dont have. This school will improve your quality of life in every single area you can think of. I am a 46 year old male and found this school 4 years ago after a doctors visit. I thought I was in good shape and felt good except for being tired all the time. My doctor did not agree. High blood pressure, two brothers with type two diabetes, and heart disease all run in my family. He said start exercising or insulin is in my future. I started with Karate first and shortly after began kick boxing as well. The first day was rough. I was clumsy and slow. Nobody judged me and all I ever got was encouragement and support and I got better. After the first week I was sore everyday but it passed. Today I dont need naps because I have energy on tap, my blood pressure is down and diabetes is not in my future. I feel good about myself, I have made great friends here and now I help them. My weight is the lowest it has been since high school. I used to get back aches if I twisted the wrong way that would hurt so bad I couldnt walk....it hasnt happened in 4 years. The hardest part was walking in the door but after I did I found someplace that I can go for an hour a day just for me....and it changed my life. It can change yours just as easy. Come down and try it and try to prove me wrong. You will never find a more positive place to be. The instructors at this school are knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. Every student is there for two reasons, to better themselves and others around them..

Great challenging Kickboxing for adults - Id say the best part is that Sensei Bobby & Mel teach the classes in a way that makes everybody feel comfortable and provide great options for people at varied skill levels.Motivating, never boring, never predictable and ALWAYS a great work out!I never leave without a soaked tank top!So glad I found this hidden gem :)

I just started going to adult martial arts classes here and its fantastic! I have only been to 4 classes so far and I feel like Ive learned so much in a short amount of time.By the end of the class, everyone is covered in sweat, completely exhausted, and Im already looking forward to the next time I can come back when I walk out the door. On top of getting exercise and feeling good, its a lot of fun and feels like a big family!

...I was afraid to try out Waverly Martial Arts...just because of trying something new & thinking I couldnt handle the workouts ~ but everyone is so helpful & welcoming and you can modify if necessary ~ I highly recommend them...I love it!!! 🥊♥️🥊

My son started karate at Waverly Martial Arts a little over a year ago. He is a very active boy and is learning important skills including discipline,focus, coordination and strength. In addition, karate has improved his motor skills, which has had a direct impact on skills outside the dojo such as learning how to ride a bicycle, navigating the playground and playing various kinds of sports. Most of all, he is learning how to respect others and be a team player. Waverly Martial Arts also has great kickboxing classes offered almost every day of the week. I have been attending them for about 2 months now and have had great results. Sensei Bobby caters to all fitness levels, demonstrating each drill with modifications to make it easier or more challenging. My family highly recommends Waverly Martial Arts and we are so glad to be a part of it.

Ive been training at Waverly Martial Arts for 4 months now. I attend adult Karate and Kickboxing classes there. Both Sensei Bill and Sensei Bobby have been encouraging and inspiring instructors. They make learning new skills enjoyable while challenging you to constantly improve yourself. I always leave with a sense of accomplishment. Ive seen an improvement within myself while training there and have incorporated a more self-confident attitude in my every day life.

Happy to have my daughter practicing karate, she delighted with all the Senseis. Really looking forward to enroll my other daughter. I also took the kickboxing class and they rock!!! Definitely five stars, 100% recommended!

Waverly martial art is the right place for whole family to get karate and kick boxing lessons! I am glad that I found it for my son. It is very nice and open place and everyone including senseis and stuff very kind and helpful.
