The business is run by this most wonderful couple who are really patient and helpful. Came here after a friend recommended it. I was able to ask questions and get real help and honest advice for what to do with my thrifted sewing machine and projects. It’s how a store should be!

Took my sewing machine in for repair. Was so happy to find need for adjustment only. The gentleman who unassisted, may be the owner, showed me how to adjust myself. This is the best most honest place for sewing machine repair and vacuum cleaners.

I brought my old Singer in for repair because the thread kept tangling inside the machine. I expected an expensive fix, however the woman looked at it on the spot, identified a screw that was not properly set and fixed it. I tried to pay her for the repair but she refused. There are not that many independent shops with real service anymore. I am definitely going to bring my vacuum in for service and support any other way I can send business their way.

I took my 1976 Singer for service & it now works like it is brand new! I have also brought 4 lady friends machines to be serviced also & all are very happy with work that was done on their machines.

Ive taken my machines to a few places . But the best service so far is Pasadena Sew Center. They may not be fast, but they are thorough. For example, in the dozen plus years Ive owned a vintage Singer from the 40s, they were the first ones to replace the bulb. I just assumed no one replaced it before because they couldnt—no, no one replaced it before because they didnt care. But Pasadena Sew? Those guys care.

I highly recommend this for all your sewing machine repair needs! I was worried that repairing my machine was going to cost me an arm and a leg, but they gave me a consultation for a very reasonable price, and my machine runs like a dream now! Theyre knowledgeable and friendly, and dont try to up-sell you. I even brought in my very old White 1805 and they had no problems figuring out what was wrong with it.

Just stopped in to buy some supplies.. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They knew exactly what I needed and steered me in the right direction. Great having a place like this nearby. Ive had them fix my vacuums as well as sewing machines.

Took my Simplicity Vacuum in today after having it for about 12 years not knowing it had 2 filters. Very embarrassing. They changed the filters and an almost broken belt and showed me I was using the hose totally the wrong way. They were so nice while I wanted to crawl away. I highly recommend this store. They sure know their business and are the nicest people ever!!!

Frida (sp?) was wonderful. Took a look at my old sewing machine and was able to get it working again even though its too old to get parts for. Im sp appreciative to her for doing that. This was my godmothers sewing machine so I dont use it much but it has sentimental value.

Alberta & Robert, have always taken care of my needs. I have done maintenance on my two machines, server & sewing machine, both entry level equipment that was used for about 10 years though seriously only last 5. I have also done a repair with the shop and when it was still acting up had a chance to bring it in again for free to be looked at. I bought a sewing machine and was delighted to walk in have a minimal number of options to review. My brain was a blur from Amazon. Weather looking at $150 machines or $350 ones, even if the ratings were in a thousands you still had a hundred plus people talking about how parts break, tangle, skip and so on. I wanted to have something reliable. I loved being able to walk in the store and make a choice from few models that have been already screened and chosen by the owners for performance & reputation. I love supporting this local business because sewing is becoming a rare craft. Thank you so much for supporting the creative community in Pasadena!
