Had a plan for 2 people on the same account, and asked to freeze the account because of financial reasons. Neither person has ever gone to FC yet. Still charged for the second person on the one account. When asked about it, refused to give a refund. This is ridiculous. Especially during these times where money is tight for everyone, you refuse to refund money for someone who asked to freeze the account and has not visited once. Absolute vultures.

This is better than the East side location.I go out my way to go to Spencer.But I went to the east side location again and its not that bad.Worth it much

Great gym! Equipment is new/clean never a wait. The classes is actually where it’s at though. Great workouts for boxing/kickboxing/hiit and more! Great team and great/friendly members.

Nasty gym. Nasty management. Folks dont know what theyre doing. On one hand they tell you you dont need to sign in every time you on a guest pass and then turn around and you have to sign in and bring an ID each time. Hard pass! Stay away from this gym! Facility is run down. Paint chipping. No foam rollers out on the floor. All the quality equipment is locked up in the personal trainer section. So if you need a barbell, bosu beall, and rollers - tough luck!

Today Im posting this review because I found a machine that I was about to use and one of the arms was broken. To the point that if you had put weight on it it would have broken off.I stop my work out went and told management,Martha Lucatero and Chris. And they just reply thank you for letting them know. I went back to my workout close to the machine that was broken. Stop some couple from using it. I kept working out for 20 more minutes and no one came. I then decided to pull the cable and tie it in a knot. Then went and told Martha and Chris for showing. Me their concern for their members SAFETY. Thats when she jump outta her chair to go look at the machine

This place has good lighting, the equipment is new. The front desk individuals are really nice. The basketball courts are extremely full during normal day times hours. The reason why I will not sign up here is because their lockers, showers and restrooms are disgusting! I have been there two days in a row to see if it would have been clean, however it’s still really bad. I would never want to shower there. The locker room is also really small. If these issues are fixed then this would be a perfect gym!

There is no reason for this location to not be 24 hrs. We pay for 24 hrs in our contract. We should be 24hrs. For this 1 star.

Not bad, open floor which is nice. My only issue really is its hard to find certain plates.

They call themselves a gym.... dumbbell section is at 40% at best, free weight also just to get started! Gym is clean for the most part. Could be a great gym but theres a lot of up grades that must take place first.

I only go for the pool. Its been closed lately. Wondering if I made the right choice to go there now.

Can get a little crowded at times but girl section is always clean and convenient. Love the yoga instructor wish she had more evening classes at this location.

Excellent gym great staff. Very clean and affordable. The best part of fitness connection is the equipment. I travel all over the US and have visited a lot gyms. The machinery at this gym is the some of the best I’ve ever used. I am very thankful they are open and located less than 2 miles from my house. If you want to get in shape this is the place !

As soon as I stepped in this gym I Iost 40lbs. This gym is amazing and highly recommend.

Gym was more or less clean other people leave thier stuff behind sometimes a buddy of mine and me like the dark and light room nice equipment

Please put out hand sanitizer! I love that masks are required and they are social distancing. No sauna at this time. Clean and everyone is spread out.

Too many machines down and it takes for ever to get fixed. Clean and disinfected though. Just have to watch out for the creeps if you have young ladies. They make them uncomfortable by gawking like vultures.

[visited twice] I’m normally a regular at the Humble location but this location blew me away. Sooo many amenities & it is huge! Everything from a basketball court, a cardio-cinema theater, to a swimming pool.The gym is clean & everyone is wearing their masks, so it feels safe. The employees here are so nice as well!I don’t understand why people give Fitness Connections bad ratings. It’s the few lazy members that don’t re-rack their weights & don’t clean after themselves. The employees present are mostly there to screen for COVID & attend to any problems. It’s $10/month, people are here because it’s affordable & has the equipment they generally want. There’s going to be spoiled apples here & there.

I go here everyday in the mornings or in the afternoons this place is pretty good right now with this pandemic. The only thing is that basketball room is open but for some reason racquetball room cant be open??

Glad to be back! Staff is on top of safety and regulations after Covid shutdown. Must wear gloves and always take a temp. Converted basketball court with new and awesome equipment! Distancing is good. I feel safe here.

I can honestly say that I love going to this gym its close to me so its very convenient. They have so many machines and upgraded to new ones too which I love very much. Every time I have gone I have always had a great experience. Im going to give this place a 5 stars because its great but there is one thing I wish they could fix and that would be the sauna by the hot tub. I love going in there to relax after the workout but it does need lots of fixing. Other than that the gym is great

WORST BUT THE WORST SERVICE! We process a cancellation online on our membership because corporate nor the facility could process it and now I’m receiving a letter charging us. I already called multiple times and left a voice message to corporate because I do have documentation of the cancellation and NOBODY has return the call. As well went to the gym and was told that they couldn’t do nothing. What type of service is this!!

The best Fitness Connection in Houston

Well this is mu home gym, and I think is a good gym. Covid-19 have changed a few of the rules for everybodies convenience, for that everybody will have to adapt.👍

I understand that the covid 19 is going around and everyone needs to stat protected by all means necessary but lord have some common sense I work at a chemical plant 10 hours a day in the heat and when I try to go workout right after work they check my temperature at 100 degrees (because I’ve been outside all day ) and apparently I didn’t cool off in the truck and I am a very hot bodied person but to be told hey we’re gonna have to ask you to step outside and “ cool off” in 100 degree weather by the way I told the lady why can’t I cool off in here where there’s ac she said no ....common sense would of kicked in and been like oh yea it’s hot af outside cool off in here and you’ll be good to go but no she wants us to stand outside in 100 degree weather to cool off I guess you can’t buy common sense lawd jeezus help them at Fitco on spencer highway

I really like this gym I have a good workout at this location. I have been to this gym since they open. Big nice gym with a lot of weights and machine it can get a bit crowed but thats at all gyms. I really recommend this location. People are always working out which motivates you more.

Overwhelmed by insurance details at the beginning. Out of state looking to use a guest pass, which policies understandable. Yet they were trying to charge me a fee higher than their claimed monthly fee for 7 days. They could have just been clear up front instead of wasting my time and enthusiasm to try out the facility.

Friendly staff. Very clean facilities. A huge variety of machines, weights, and workout rooms. They have a room with a movie screen, a womens only gym, a pool, and a sauna. They also offer personalized training of you want it. Theyre open 24/7 which is really convenient if you work a non-traditional work schedule.

Sauna is Closed for repair AGAIN. What happens next is as follows. 1. Fitness Connection PR department will reply to this post with a one week timeline to the day that it will be repaired “for good this time”. 2. The actual repair will take place three weeks from now. 3. The sauna will work below par for the next three days until it breaks down completely. 4. 2 months from start date the sauna will be repaired for the following 3 months at which point it breaks down again. 5. Go back to step one.

Lets be honest, the monthly fee is $11 per month. If you are expecting ballet service and super-models everywhere, you need to check those expectations at the door. This is a good gym in that it offers a lot of equipment, free weights, tension weights, tread-mills, elliptical, etc. They bring in new weights about every two years. Personally, Ive been coming to this gym for a few years now and it serves me a purpose of providing me a save environment to exercise (non-slippery floors). New weights and equipment were just brought in last month which is always nice. Ive never witnessed a fight or any type of altercation in the many years Ive worked out there. Some of the crowed is rough around the edges but you have to expect that if you insist on paying $11. There is a Ladys Workout room for females who dont feel comfortable lifting around men or dont want to be checked out by other people. There is a pool, which Ive never used and a hot-tub, which I also never used. The Basketball Gym floor is less than six months old and the rocket ball courts are in really good shape. They also offer a lot of classes from body pump to kickboxing and cycling. Ive done a few here and there and they are good and free to all members. Again, if you want to be surrounded by supermodels and pampered while you work out (which makes no sense to me) this gym is probably not good for you. But if youre just looking to work out and get out, its worth a shot.

This fitness connection needs MAJOR improvement. It would be nice if “ they upgraded “ the kids area it would be nice so it won’t take so long to get them in and out . You scan your tags it show the child name and pic and boom done . The sauna next to the pool is another big problem osha says temple supposed to be at 140*f but if you take the temperature it’s around 98-99 need to see if running temperature that low will do more damage also the woman sauna is way hotter I wounded why the one the men goes to is not ? . The cleaning crew is good they keep it clean !! They do a awesome job . Wish the ppl at the front counter have that drive . Wish they had a bigger free weight section it gets supper pack ..

Have stopped in a few times over last couple of months and sauna seems to always be broke. Only a few spots In this gym that require maintenance and they cant seem to keep it right. Judging by how many people are here on a busy night they are clearly not lacking financial resources. Rest of gym is in working order it seems since it does not require money or much maintenance to keep up.

This place were amazing. Has it all equipment to used and accommodating trainers and staff. Id like to fit in here. Warm and clean place to go. Ill surely be back here.

First time coming to this location I enjoy early as possible. Not loud or crowded. First machine I jumped on was shaky and a lot of them had dirty napkins and bottles. Haven’t brought my daughter here due to some of the reviews about the kids club. Other than I enjoyed it!

Went to question prices. I had been member several years before and they took money out of my account without permission and when I went to say something I was told I should have read fine print.****edit. My comment to their response. I had all the necessary paperwork you speak of when I went to inquire about it first time. Not worth the stress of no one wanting to take responsibility. I wish them the best but at same time consumers should know the truth.

Great place to work out at, pool and hot tub is a+, the only thing it needs for it to be perfect is to fix the sauna door. It has a big gap on the bottom so all the heat gets out. Other then that it is a great place with a big veriaty of machines to work out at.

Very disappointed! As the new year came in I decided to join the gym as a New Years resolution. I was undecided on joining planet fitness or fitness connection but I decided with fitness connection. I signed up and there was a 50$ enrollment fee and 15$ a month I took the offer and signed up. I went to the gym two days later and was not even given a tour instead the lady just gave me my badge and left me to my self to figure out where things where! Then two days later there is a ad for 0 down enrollment fee and 10$ a month !!!!! I am furious I have tried to get a hold of corporate to see if any thing could be done I been calling for 3 days even emailing and have not heard anything back. I call and call and it all goes to voicemail.

Cancellation is the worst if your not there in person. But in a world with covid, makes it even worse being that they will never answer when you call to cancel.They will only answer to someone wanting to become a member, make sure you cancel before the month cause if you grt charged next month they will say its next months fee and a cancellation fee.

Meeting the manager Eric Figueroa was amazing. He assisted my friend and i get ourselves started with our membership. He explained the fitness connection process throughly. I am so happy i met Eric.

Ive always enjoyed coming to this location. But lately it has been a disappointing experience. Ive been with Fitness connection for over 2 years now and never had a problem with payments until now? Apparently they accuse us of not paying in time when youre on an automatic payment enrollment and they charge us 1.5x our rate without explanation. I had clearly showed that the funds were there yet they insisted that I pay more than my monthly subscription is. Im honestly thinking of switching to another gym where they wont scam you.

Cancellation process is terrible and you will be over charged at the end. i decided to not listen to reviews and go ahead with the sign up, i now regret it i hated running from the dang sales men everytime i want to work out personal trainers are like vultures there and then cancellation process is done through email which i have now been double charged months in a row after cancelling.

My gym and is great, the 1st months of the year is rough but aside from that I love it. Also like the new modifications and extra squat racks...

Very versatile gym. There’s something here for everyone! There’s plenty of machines & weights. The only complaints I have are the weird smell & how you have to hunt for weights. Some solutions for those issues are maybe 1 DEEP cleaning day a week when the whole staff comes in to help & designated employees walking around, putting left out equipment back in their places. But like I said, a great place to workout for a low price

Eric Figueroa was great in assisting me with all the help I needed. He gave me all the instructions I needed and the hospitality a customer deserves.

This gym is very big and it’s nice. The only problem is the free weight(dumbbells) below 5lbs are gone and the only ones there are the heavy ones that very few people can even lift. How are you supposed to workout with equipment that’s not even there. I would recommend they really do something about this. Other than that if you like cables and workout with just cable machines you should be ok.

Was a good gym when I was a member - the racquetball courts and kids club were nice benefits.However during COVID I had to freeze my account since we didnt feel comfortable going. I called today to renew the freeze and was told their system actually started billing 2 days before the end of the month. Never mind they were closed last week for Thanksgiving and I couldnt renew the freeze anyway. Not the most fair process.So the local gym itself is good but the company is very nickel-and-dime.

Trained here for 4 years of my life. Until I moved and train now elsewhere. The manager is close to my dad the maintnence and staff was always friendly. Never had a issue. Love this one in Pasadena because its a 24hr opening. Usually around 5pm it would and always has gotten packed but I dont see why people complain about it when its you get what you pay for!

Plenty of equipment for all your workout needs at extremely affordable membership price! Open 24/7! Theater room, sauna, pool, and showers.
