Out of all of the companies who gave us an estimate, Tony was the only person who added 100 more square feet to the actual square footage and charged about $1,000 more than a highly reputable company. On top of that, we knew more about the industry standards in terms of stain/finish products than him. He is definitely one of those contractors who charges whatever he wants rather than having a fixed labor & material cost based on actual square footage. His company, Affordable Hardwood Flooring, is more like Ripoff Hardwood Flooring.

This is the kind of company you want to do your hardwood floor refinishing as the guy coming to present you the quote is the guy who is going to do the work and he takes great pride in his work. He refinished our entire first floor over a few days and we could not be happier. We were lucky to find him and so glad we did. We have used Tony twice. Once to refinish, and again to lay down two rooms of wood. Tony is an artist. Fast and conscientious, he takes pride in what he does. We missed a spot on one of the stairs, and was back to make the fix on our schedule. Fair prices.
