Very focused and determined individuals (Paloma and Andres) who strive to provide our company with hard working people. It could be 4am or 11pm and they will be there for you, especially if you have a company that is 24/7. They also communicate in detail which is a plus so that there are no misunderstandings. Both thumbs up to Ascend Staffing for doing things professionally and effectively.

LCL isnt the same since Ms. Melissa and Paloma left. When they were there they were nice not like the people now. I worked with Ms. Melissa on and off for 4 years. She found me a job and taught me to keep it. She was pretty strict for the most part but caring. I saw her and Paloma pick up people to take to work and gave us gas money when we were behind. Ms. Melissa even gave people money out of her own pocket because corporate didnt pay a person. Ms. Paloma helped me upgrade my resume. They made that company a good place to work. Even my bosses thought so. Its bad this company didnt do eveything they could to keep them.

Wasted time and gas, driving from the NW side all the way out to Pasadena after being constantly urged to come into the office and apply for a nice fit Nadia had for me. So I leave work only to go to the Pasadena office for a 3 hour application process since there are two guys ahead of me....they finish. So do I. Why was I still sitting waiting to talk to someone? So finally after 4 hours roll by, I finally get to talk to someone only to be told, all the positions are full and I should follow up later. I got baited and switched and it’s because I came in and they saw I wasn’t Hispanic. Everything was cool before then they saw I was black, NOW all of a sudden there’s no jobs. OK. Find another staffing agency if you’re black. This only looks out for their kind

I love the energy I got when I walked in... I never used a staffing agency I never trusted them to my they all rip you off... Well... So I thought.... I fell dumb I have worked in the sun long hours no breaks and now I am in the shade making good money.!.!

They discriminate against blacks they gave all the jobs to there kind & told me they didn’t have anything, they only look out for there people.. I’m going to report this to the equal employment opportunity. If your black I suggest you don’t go there because you will get turned away & sent home with no job.

They got me a job and it was good.First payday came and I had trouble with the cashcard they gave me.Second payday came there was no money on my card. Couldnt go to work cause I had no gas to get to work. Went to gas station on the day I was supposed to get payed. They had not payed me so I could not go to work.And they fired me. Young guy was very roodVery unprofessional.

Went to file an application at 3:50 theyClose at 4:30. Told me they were about to close. If you cant file an application in 30 minutes something is wrong. Kept yawning while talking with me pure laziness Paloma.

Hey Brittany J. I agree with you I went there a couple of days ago I saw a job add they placed on indeed the posting said Spanish speaking people only limiting others to that oppurtnity. Seems like they only pull for there own kind, everybody in that office or that goes there that Ive seen seem to be hispwnic. So yes, they arent an equal opportunity for employment 9 times out 10 if your not Hispanic no need to go there youll be waisitng your time in applying .
