Horrible experience, utterly unprofessional, and completely unethical business practices. I brought my computer in and paid for an initial diagnostic test to recover my data. Once they ran the test they quoted me between $2500-$3500 and never planned on telling me that if they do recover the data I would probably have to buy a new computer on top of the data recovery. Not to mention that when I decided not to get my data recovered through them they wouldn’t even tell me what it was they discovered through the diagnostic test. Look elsewhere.

Having this company on your side is nothing but a blessing. Every person you work with is not only highly educated and dedicated but they also treat you like family. I can only say they are truly amazing with what they can do. If you have any issues do not hesitate to get their help.

It took about 3~4 weeks for diagnosis after shipping. Charged me $ 17500 for their R&D and recovery which might take additional at least 2 weeks. I couldnt wait anymore and asked them to return my hard drive. Then they suggested $ 12500 of discount. I just asked them to return. The returning procedure took about two weeks. No, actually I am still waiting for cables which they forgot to ship. They said free diagnosis if they cannot fix it, but thats not for my case. The hard drive was poorly assembled after their diagnosis. I suspect that they are professional company.

They couldnt get my data back because there was so much damage, but they were very professional and communicated the issue well.

Service is very efficient. The diagnosis was quick and I was well informed of the status, they provided update of the process on their website and I also get notifications on my email. After authorizing the recovery process, they were able to recover all my data back. Thank you very much!

First, I got my data back. They did what they set out to do. But! Communication was difficult with the company. Maybe it was the holidays, but I paid $1,300 for recovery+drive and I would like it if someone answers the door, or has other methods of communication present.Or when I respond to their online system to call me, Id expect a call.Or when their automated text says you can reply to this text, and I do, Id expect a reply.Or when I place in the notes that I need it shipped to a different address Id expect that to be confirmed the first time and not take 3 different tries.I dropped off in Pasadena CA, then I was shipped a new drive from Canada?? I dont know how that worked out but it didnt make me feel very comfortable about the process.I was frustrated and anxious about the recovery process and their communication did not help that _at all_. But they did recover the data, but Im not sure if I would use them again. YMMV

Super duper fast and perfect communication while processing the recovery. It seems the price was reasonable compared to other data recovery center I inquired. My 2 year old son broke my mobile phone. My iphone doesnt have a backup on icloud so Im not sure how to retrieve my sons old picture when he was a baby. Good thing theres a shop called WeRecoverData and they can easily recover files from your device. Kudos to you guys!

I was taken advantage of by this company and was ghosted in the end. No where on their website was it stated that there is a $200 non refundable diagnostic fee. I paid the initial non refundable fee of $95, and was charged $200 because a cracked label would make the job harder for them when the time came to extract the data. They quoted me how much it would be to extract and I ended up going with another company because they were just too expensive. I asked again for my $200 back because they wouldnt be doing any data extraction, but they refused. When I asked them to show me this policy that states that there is a non refundable fee, they stopped emailing me all together. Overall terrible customer service and deceptive/shady business practice.

I really am highly confused how to express my gratitude to WeRecoverData.
