Just a wonderful experience from top to bottom. First of all, they have beautiful Toyota vehicles which as everyone knows are hard to come by in this current market. We test drove 3 different vehicles, Tacoma, plug-in hybrid RAV4 Prime, and Tundra. All of them 4x4 or all-wheel drive. Loved everyone of them for different reasons. Secondly, great salesman named Richard who had great patience with us(he has been in contact with us for a few months) and kept on delivering the best choices for our needs.Let me tell you the truth, he is an awesome guy and kept delivering everything we asked for under difficult circumstances (the current economic situation). Thirdly, The finance manager Nick, the same caliber of person as Richard, very personable, and will do everything he can to work with you…all in all, beautiful place to buy a vehicle. We decided on the RAV4 and couldn’t be happier. Thank you Toyota of Pasadena.

Bad service. No oil change because Toyotas rule is 2 years OR 25000 miles. No leniency for oil change, because 2 years has passed, even though mileage is less than 25,000, and I didnt drive due to COVID. Toyota has to change its strict policy. The representative said it doesnt matter who you know or what your situation is this is our policy. However, the service dept. manager was very professional and my plea was heard. Oil change was done and everything is fine. Toyota of Pasadena deserves very good reviews. Thank you Kevin

I had just about given up on their service department, when I was transferred to a service writer named Daniel. I had called previously and nobody was available to take my call, so I was dumped in their voicemail system. This happened twice and I was not happy.Daniel listened to my situation and asked me if I could bring my car in before his lunch break. I agreed and brought my car over. He met me in the service area, we went into his office and he wrote up the ticket. When I told him what my insurance company said, I saw a look of disbelief. After a few days of messing with the adjuster, I found out that Daniel was right!I picked up my car today and Daniel was as professional and courteous as he had been last week. He sent me to the cashier, I picked up my keys and drove my car away.Ive been to many dealer service centers and most of the time, I feel like the rep is looking at me like Im his/her meal ticket. Daniel didnt give me that feeling. I feel that he cared about me and my situation. To me, this is huge! He has gained not only a new client, but also someone who will refer business to him. And personally, I feel that Daniels actions turned this into a huge win-win, even if my car situation wasnt taken care of in the manner I thought it would (not the fault of the dealer).I highly recommend seeing Daniel for all your Toyota service needs!

We’ve had our RAV4 serviced a few times now at Toyota Pasadena. It’s always been a smooth process. Our last service agent made sure we received the best service package since our car was between mileage milestones.Kevin Young, service director, went out of his way to make sure we got the hitch we needed (apparently they’re in short supply from manufacturer) and even provided extra information about possible bike racks.

Worst experience ever at Toyota Pasadena no manners at all from the sales manager yesterday (9/9/21 - 5:30pm)Horrible customer service, sales manager should learn how to communicated to the costumers he was rude, aggressive and disrespectful, I felt uncomfortable the way he spoke to me. Right now it is not a good time to purchase a car due to the chip shortage, the inventory that this dealer has is limited.The percentage being offered is low but the prices are higher than normal and it is better to wait until the chip shortage decrease if the consumer can wait

We went in last Saturday to see a 2019 Toyota Highlander. The selling price online was advertised as $35,888. When we get there the sales agent Andy (who was amazing!) confirmed the price had been reduced. Then another gentleman we think was the sales manager comes into the picture to tell us the car is $37,700. We asked why he said they added special features which was a lie because those features were advertised online already. Bait and switch is illegal but the car was not worth the fight. We ended up going to Chevy which was 1000 times more professional and their online prices matched when we arrived! If they truly valued their customers they would respect us.

I am very pleased with the price and quality of my car. I only with held the fifth star due to confusion about the sales worthiness forcing me to take delivery the next day. Well, I finally did it! After 16 years driving my reliable 2005 Toyota Camry, I upgraded to another 2018 Camry LE and I couldn’t be more pleased with my car and the excellent service I received at Toyota of Pasadena. I waited over a year trying to find the right Toyota dealership that wouldn’t give me the run around. I knew the exact color and type of Camry I wanted - a used 2018/ 2019 with low miles. That’s precisely what I walked away with.Andy, my internet salesperson, made the experience so effortlessly and enjoyable. I was out the door little over 2 hours from the time I arrived for my 10am appointment. Buying my 2018 Camry LE from Toyota of Pasadena was the best decision I could have made. Had to give 3 stars because the staff isnt very hospitable or enthusiastic about making sure you feel comfortable but the service is straightforward and I havent had any real issues.Edit: Got helped out by Mitch in my most recent visit. He was very professional and friendly and also provided satisfactory information about the services rendered including other questions about my warranty and coverage. Still agree with my first post about the entirety of the staff being a bit nonchalant but raised my rating from 3 to 4 stars because of Mitchs quality of service. Definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here for maintenance and the like especially if you have a Toyota.

This place is a joke for service! Stopped by for an oil change and asked the service person to check the electrical in the tailgate hatch. The latch recently had mechanical issues (seems to be a big problem with Toyota Highlanders) and I replaced the motor with a genuine Toyota part. Once installed, the problem was that the electric signal wasn’t syncing correctly.Anyway, the service person told me it would start at $500 just to take a look. We were planning to buy a Toyota Tacoma for our son, but definitely not from this place! These thieves can rip someone else off. We’re not spending another dollar here.

I am very happy with this place, They always take good care of the car. I havent had any problems with the service department. My wife and I were dropping off the car, the service advisors were little busy. Apparently the Service Director Kevin Young noticed this and came out to help us to drop off the car. I have never seen a Service Director do this. I have only seen them take complaints, or never see them at all. Thank You Mr. Young for running a good service department. I have also bought several cars from them, I was also very happy with the sales department.

We purchased our Toyota Tacoma through the fleet manager at Toyota of Pasadena! We could not have had a better experience! Worst experience ever. No respect from the salesperson, no explanation on the car, feels like whatever. After show me the car without any features explanation, left me on the desk to fill out the application by myself. Come back 15 min later to get the papers, then went to see his manager. 10 mins later, he come back to tell me this is best he can do. The way he show me is like either take it or leave it.

Bought a certified pre opened car, when I showed up they were jumping it. Sales guy Richard said they put a new battery in since the old one was bad. Fast forward 3 months I’m stuck with a dead battery, took it to Toyota and they said it’s a really old battery and it’s not covered. Thanks Richard

Today Im writing this because of the five star service I have received over the last couple weeks from service advisor John Schubee, and the director of the service department Kevin Young. To start I recently had to take my 2013 Camry for an oil change and some other work needed was discovered. John and Kevin found a way to use the extended warranty I had from Assurant and they got me taken care of. I had to take my 14 Camry in for an oil change, but also to have a strange noise listened to and several parts later the noise is fixed and my wife is enjoying her car again. John, Kevin you guys are amazing. Thank you for everything. I will see you guys again on the next one.

Worst experience ever, wont be returning to this toyota for anything. Went in for service and it took 8 hours to do an oil change with an appointment. On top of that I went to make sure they did the oil change which is covered under their zero cost maintenance, and they didnt. checked the dip stick and the oil was black as night, drained the oil myself and found the same old oil thats been in there for who knows how long. I guess they call it zero cost maintenance for a reason.

As a consumer I am very angry. I was dissatisfied with the behavior of Jason Jiang, a salesman at Toyota Pasadena. Dont waste your time with this store. When I came to this store, he said I need to pay $3000 more. He is a lier, he did that not the first time. Please look his reviews two years ago. His manager Paul Hoong said he just made a mistake, and misunderstood. Human will make mistakes, If I dont buy, I must go. Otherwise he will call police. So bad experience.

Service department is sketchy. I get quoted the most outrages prices for the most basic work. Took my car in for an engine oil and transmission flush and was quoted $291 for oil and another $259 for Transmission. On another occasion I inquired about replacing some broken plastic under my car and quoted close to a $1000 to fix. Toyota of Pasadena charges more then double for the parts. And 3x more for labor then other places Ive took my car too. Hamer Toyota has better deals. Parts are much cheaper!

He’s very cordial, polite, patient, receptive and most importantly not pushy. I felt uncomfortable with the way the salesman uses with clients. Too much aggressive.. I express my desire to go out and he continued trying to sell a car that was very nice but over my possibilities. I did not enter in the establishment to bargain. I just wanted a cheaper and older car. They had more expensive cars since they were newer than the one I wanted. I am not American, but I think this way of selling can be unpleasant for some people. If you are not one of them, so go to the place! But it is not for me.

Horrible customer service, manager should learn to keep his eyes to himself. Seems salesmen dont care to service customers because they continuously passed the key off to four different people before actually getting ready to show us the car. If Adam is not available to show a car they should give it someone else to show than losing a customer. He sent an email without actually having the car available at the dealer. He should not be so much in a hurry just to get people in their doors. Would not ever go back here or do business with this toyota dealership.

Great Customer Service, but buyer beware!(Sales Department)I bought a new 2018 Tundra a couple years ago after trading in my Tacoma for something bigger. Literally moments after buying the truck I stoped by best buy to grab a phone holder for the Tundra and when I hop back into the truck I realized they forgot to disarm the dealership anti theft device and was unable to start the truck. Waited an hour a mile down the road before they came out and disarmed it.(Service Department)The real reason Im writing this post today. Went in to have two recall services completed on the Tundra and asked if they can check out my brakes. After a few hours of waiting at home I get a call saying that the car is done and the front pads and rotors need to be replaced and it if I didnt want to change them now it would be $75 Dollars for the inspection!. BUT! If i did change them now they would waive the inspection fee and charge me $515 for new front brake pads and rotors.!!!!!!! Now Ive owned a few Toyotas over the years and one thing they always pride themselves on is their Multipoint Inspection at every service, which usually includes inspecting wear and tear on tires and brakes. When I asked them about why Im being charged $75 for something they do for free they said it was a wheel off inspection. When I asked what they found in their inspection they said The front pads and rotors show heavy signs of use. After I refused to have them replaced by them I asked my service rep to let me speak to his manager. When I spoke to the service department manager I asked again why am I being charged $75 for an inspection that is usually free. He argued that there was no regular service done on the truck to warrant a free inspection. I then tried to clarify what is the difference between their Multipoint Inspection to the Inspection Fee and the manager said that the multipoint inspection is just visual inspection of the tire and brakes with the wheel on, when they have to remove the tire it cost $75 dollars. Since they said that the Multi Point Inspection was just a visual inspection, I asked why would you remove the wheel if you can see the brake pads and rotors through the rim? Then, when I countered his no regular maintenance was done on the truck argument with the two Federally Mandated Recalls that were required for the truck, is when he asked me to come in and speak to him personally. Initially at first I refused because of the bad reputation service departments have with overcharging people for routine maintenance, but I had to get the truck anyway and so I agreed But before I even agreed to speak to him, I mentioned that Id be writing a review on this situation. I showed up a few minutes later expecting nothing to happen but then the Manager proposed a deal, as soon as I walked in. His deal was that he would allow me to take the truck free of charge, if instead of a negative review i posted a positive one. I agreed but only to get my truck. I got the truck back with out a charge and now Im writing this to warn everyone. DO NOT GO TO TOYOTA PASADENA FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!! People have a right to walk into a dealership and be shown the same respect they were shown when they bought the car, I dont expect to go to a dealership and have to fight for trivial things such as a visual inspection. For me I will be canceling my extended warranty and I will be finding a local mechanic I can trust and build a relationship with to work on my truck. I wont stop buying Toyotas just yet but I will never bring my cars to be serviced at Pasadena Toyota ever again and will definitely never purchase any vehicle from them. Id rather go to Longo Toyota or Glendora Toyota and try them out before using Toyota Pasadena ever again.Recap: Toyota Pasadena will do what they can to make the customer happy but they will rob you blind or make you fight for it in the process. There is a sayin in this business that goes when you buy a car, you date the sales department, but you marry the service department I wonder how that even came about.

Friendly counter at the parts location .... The mechs here could learn from them though I understand tbeyre busy... It never hurts to be nicer or courteous of customers... every time I try to explain to whoever was running my diagnostics what was wrong with my car he wouldnt pay any attention to me and kept on telling me that he wanted to check my car in and charge me $180, I know whats wrong with my car I just want to buy the parts I need.... Luckily the parts manager was there and helped me on the spot and got me set up with what I was looking for ! Great job!

Would’ve given this place ZERO stars if it weren’t for Mitch! He was great the first time I got my car serviced, super polite and informative and most importantly quick.The second time for my car service I expected the same type of service and was happy to go but this time it was an entirely different experience. Miguel was curt, rude and slow. I didn’t even know exactly what will be done for my car or how long it would take. I just didn’t want to speak to him anymore. I walked in when he was on the phone because another employee told me to go in there. When I walked in he put his hand up and was like wait outside.

Thrown in his 2 cents and I told it not that serious. As he walk away he added another one of his 2 cents ( saying that my advisor is not the same with car #3 anyway) as I perceive to ask for his name he came to me with an attitude and said Leroy. Was shopping for a hybrid because daily driving my lifted Tundra was no longer practical with gas prices closing in on $5 a gallon. I ended up getting a great deal on a 2020 Corolla hybrid and jumped on it. Jack Derparseghian was my sales associate. He was great. Not pushy at all, and didnt act like you were annoying him or wasting his time when you asked questions or asked him to unlock cars to look at the interior or go on drives. He was patient and helpful. Nick Valenzuela was my finance guy. He was awesome! I got top notch service from him. He too was very patient and informative. He went over everything in detail, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. These two gentlemen are an asset to Toyota Pasadena. I would definitely do business with them again and refer family and friends with confidence. I dealt with at least 15 dealerships before this, and got the typical attitude like just come and give us your money and leave. Not here. My experience with Toyota Pasadena and Nick and Jack was refreshing and an absolute pleasure. Even after everything was done, they didnt just try to push me out of there like most dealers do after they have taken your money. Nicks and Jacked took me out to the car and went over everything with me, and offered to link the bluetooth, SOS, and carplay for me. They made sure I was taken care of completely before I drove off. If youre looking for a car, give Toyota Pasadena a look and ask for Jack and Nick. You wont be disappointed.

The Staff at Pasadena was more then amazing!!! They were very attentive from the second we stepped out of our vehicle. The gentlemen who helped us was named Alex Fernandez. As a first time buyer Alex made the experience a breeze!! The advisor Miguel and his team took me almost 5 hours to do oil change and fix one tire, and they couldn’t fix the tire, no communication during i was waiting over there until I came to find them and asked why it was taking so long. This is horrible service, no apology and I would not come back here anymore

For my first time purchasing a car from a dealership, Id say it was a good experience. Even though my husband did most of the talking, we didnt feel pressured on getting a different car, or purchasing many extra items on the car. When we arrived, we were greeted and then asked about what car we were interested in. We explained how we were there to see a specific car, we were then shown the car, test drove it, and afterwards went to sign paperwork. Before leaving a little flap on the sunroof was getting stuck when opening, and Toyota fixed it. There was also a small chip on the windshield and so I had to schedule an appointment to bring it back to be replaced. When I returned a week later, staff was friendly, had great communication, and addressed the situation immediately. Im very pleased with the experience at Toyota of Pasadena.

I was referred to Pasadena Toyota by CarProUSA. The sales team was incredible. Sam contacted me and most of the work was done before I even arrived. Our first dealings with Toyota of Pasadena were via email with a gentleman by the name of Adam. He is absolutely amazing did not try any hard sales or become pushy in anyway. He wanted to get to know us as individuals and that is exceptional. We also dealt with Sam the manager and again very nice and easy to talk with. We had some issues finding the right vehicle for us. We submitted the build your own Toyota through email and outlined our parameters. We stuck to our guns even though we were told it was a tough vehicle to find. They found some but were all sold. But the entire team persisted and found us exactly what we were looking for. Couldnt be happier with how everything went highly recommend all the individuals we had contact with. Adam is the best!
