Very easy and fast tire change. I got myself used tires for my Prius at a very good price. Also they changed only front tires, telling that the back ones look alright, and I really appreciated that honesty, because I was hoping to spend as little money on tires as possible, so this was exactly what I wanted. Although I saw different cars there, some fancy cars owners also change their tires there.

This place is a lifesaver for me and my 2 kids. Eduardo was closing up when I called with a flat tire. He stayed overtime for me and fixed my tire wi 20 minutes when I couldve been stuck 45 minutes away from my house with my 2 kids. He also didnt try to take advantage of my predicament with audacious prices or overdiagnosis. He was honest, professional, courteous, quick, efficient and provided quality work with reasonable pricing. What more can you want from an auto shop?? I recommend him to anyone.

Nice and honest guy. My car seemed to had an issue with an airbag and also was suspicious of it having a coolant leak so I called early in the morning and made a visit in short notice but the guy was super cool and ran a quick diagnostic on my obd2 port. Also didn’t bothered to go under my ride and check the leak. Fortunately there wasn’t any leak and as far as airbags goes, he wasn’t able to repair it so referred me to other shop. And all this service was free of charge.( I did tipped him :) ) any who in conclusion, was quick and transparent!

Called ahead to make sure they had time for us. They asked all the right questions and told us to come in. They let us know there was a $65 diagnostic fee that is essentially a deposit. Basically, if you have them do the work, they apply it to the bill. If you have them do the diagnostic work but decide to walk, you gotta pay $65. Pretty reasonable.The car was stalling periodically so they ran it. They ran it on blocks with some gas. They took it out and drove it. They checked the fluids and topped them up. They cleaned the carbon buildup on all the parts of the fuel and exhaust system that could be contributing to the stalls. If nothing else, its idling much smoother. When we picked up the car, they popped the hood, talked us through what they saw and where, and let us ask questions.What did all this cost us? Just the $65 diagnostic fee. Im super happy. Great value, they were receptive to questions and talking is through what they saw. Ill be going back for sure.

Took my pickup truck to Als Auto center for some exterior damage and engine problems. I only take my cars to this place in the Pasadena area I find their prices to be very fair and their work superior to the competition. They offer a great prices on tires, and work extremely fast. I give Als Auto center five stars and can always visit their other location in Pasadena.

My first experience with Als Auto Center was fantastic!! I dont know much about cars, even my own, so going to a mechanic tends to make me anxious, but Augustin was awesome and helped walk me through the whole experience.My 8 year old Honda Fit started making weird metal on metal noises a few weeks ago. This is my first car and since I couldnt identify the noise, I took it to a Honda dealership and asked them to look to make sure nothing was wrong. The service provider at the dealership called to tell me that my transmission was the issue and that it would be $4,400 to replace it!!! I only came in because there was a strange noise, my car was driving perfectly fine.Everyone suggested getting a second opinion, and after a quick google and reading a few reviews I called Als Auto Center and asked about bringing my car in for them to check my transmission. I actually called Als 3 times before I had the time to come in, and each time they answered the phone quickly and answered all of my questions. I called today and they said to bring my car around in an hour, so that is what I did.When I arrived at Als Auto Center, I met Augustin. I explained what the dealership told me and told him about the noise. He asked if he could drive around the block with me to hear the noise. I drove him down a few streets and he said he heard the noise. However, he said he didnt think it was the transmission because the car was shifting without a problem. After explaining everything to me, he said he would lift up my car and take a look underneath.Once under my car, he showed me how my catalytic converter was what was rattling when my car idled, and showed me where my transmission was. I had never seen the underside of my car like that, and Augustin talked me through what I was looking at while explaining what he believed was making the noise. When he brought the car down, Augustin checked my transmission fluid and took the time to show me what the difference between new and used fluid looked like. Because of everything he showed me and the lack of information from the dealership, I feel pretty confident in Augustins opinion.And in the end, Augustin recommended that I not worry about the noise until the car started to actually drive differently and to bring it by any time I was worried and they would check it again. I will certainly be happy to bring my car back here if it has any problems!

This is a great auto center! We were on a family vacation in our motorhome when all of a sudden on the freeway our power steering and power brakes went out. Serpentine belt and vacuum pump were toast. We google mapped the closest mechanic and found Als auto center. We are sure happy we found them. The mechanics are positive, friendly, hardworking and fast. Thanks Als auto center!

Wonderful guys that helped me out and gave a beyond fair price. Ill break it down for you.Its 11pm and my radiator lines blew on my Toyota dolphin. From another review I read, I found that I could message the business after hours and they responded within minutes. I was parked in a no overnight parking. They responded shortly after I messaged saying to bring it in and I could park it overnight in their lot. Already top notch. Mechanic got there at 8am, looked it over, replaced what needed to be replaced and I was on the road by 11. Fantastic! Anytime youre in Pasadena and need service, these are the guys to go to for sure. Thanks again!

Never had any problems here. They sell used tires and fix flats and that seems to be half their business. Henry does muffler work. They have good hours and are open all weekend.

I have been to this place a few times over my lifetime and I have never had a big issue usually they can fix the problem unless it is seriously a dealer specific problem that they dont have the right tools or equipment for . As far as I can say the pricing is very reasonable . And the tire price here is good.

This is the only place I go to to get my car fixed. I was hesitant at first being a woman walking into an all male auto spot but they were great & didnt over charge.3 stars because the parking there is a challenge & the 2x I went this past year there was only 1 person assisting in the tire department. My son & I waited 55 minutes.

These guys are my go to guys for used tires. Some of their used tires are better than new ones in a lot of places. They open Sundays too. They dont rip you off with ridiculous installations costs like Pep Boys.

On our way out of town and discovered we had low tire pressure. Discovered a nail. Took it to Als (or first time there) and they had us back on the road in less than 20 minutes.

Guy fixed my tire that had nails in it, causing a slow leak. When he quoted me the full price for a new replacement tire, I told him to repair it; without a hard sell he did and got me out in 18 mins and $20 for the job. Ill be returning. Kind and honest workers.

Was passing through LA on my way to my first assignment at Vandenberg AFB when my front right wheel bearing broke. Took my truck to these guys at 5:30 on a Friday night and they had my truck ready to go by 2:00 the next afternoon. Really saved me, as they got me to base on time. Did it at a really fair price too.

I called for a price for 2 used tires and the guy tells me $30 each. Then I make the drive and when I get there the price went up $15 each. Never going back there again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU HAVE A VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. THEY RUINED MY CAR. I had to have my car towed twice because they forgot to simply bleed the brake fluid during the brake job. Now my car is being fixed at another place and this is costing me hundreds of dollars. What first happened is my brakes began to grind so I took my jetta to Als. They fixed the brakes. The very next day I couldnt drive my car. It wasnt accelerating, the brake light was on the dashboard and the car was smoking. I had to have it towed back to Als in the middle of the night. The triple A guy who picked up my car said that the brakes hadnt been bled properly. I told Als this the next day and they said it had nothing to do with that and made me pay another $90 to get my rotors turned. A week after all this my car did the same thing AGAIN! (not accelerating, car is smoking and brakes were stuck). I paid $221 to have my brakes bled at another auto center. The most expensive brake job Ive ever had in my life. I dont recommend this place at all.
