Gives the energy of being courteous and helpful, but does not walk you through options very well. Does not keep you informed of the status of your vehicle. Filthy bathroom with no soap. And, Im pretty sure they charged me too much for labor. Wouldnt go back and kind of sad Im tied to the chain because I purchased a warranty.

Trustworthy, respectful and fast. I brought my elderly client here for a tire repair. She was ready to throw away any amount of money and get 4 new tires, because she loves her old little car and wants to take good care of it. It was so refreshing to see how respectful they were and how they told her she absolutely did not need new tires. She left with a $28 repair in about an hour (without an appointment). Plenty of places would have taken advantage of her as a woman, an elder, a non-native English speaker. She doesn’t have an email and they treated her so well even though they knew she’d never leave an online review. Just had to drop a line of support! Many thanks to the guys at NTB Parkville!

Not a true one star. NTB corporate needs to re-evaluate how they fill online appointments. I scheduled my appoint, showed up at the set time, and was told the wait is at least 1.5 hours before my car would even get in. Guy seemed slightly overwhelmed but it isnt his fault. This is an NTB problem.

Chris is awesome. Hes a very professional, courteous and knowledgeable guy with an amazing attitude, especially early in the morning lol. NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!2016 HYUNDAI, 36,200 milesWent in for new tires. Was quoted $428.00. Was charged and additional hour of labor ($134.99) to remove wheel locks. I know my fault, but really, could you do this as a courtesy? When I called the Towson location, the gentleman said he would charge $65 to remove all 4. I guess prices vary buy location even though I was told the $134.99 was standard. 🤔I was also told my serpentine belt was cracked and needed replaced...$206.64, I needed front brake pads...$216.99, and also rear brakes pads and rotors...$484.27.TOTAL...$970.44, I declinedI then took my car to a trusted person. He said the serpentine belt was good, and that they are designed to last 90,000 miles. Also, my rotors just had some surface rust that would come off with the new front and rear pads that he put on.TOTAL...$150One would think that the employees would know this. They probably do!Just a warning, dont get ripped off. Get a better opinion!

I caught a flat while I was out running an errand. While I waited for roadside assistance, I called NTB to see if they had any available tires. Spoke to Kenny, explained the situation but also told him that I was really in need of 4 tires and if I could, I wanted to get 4 tires instead of just replacing 1. Kenny said they had tires and if I could get there by a certain time they could do all 4. Got there and was greeted by Steven, I explained the situation and we went through the available options and I settled on tires that I believe meet my driving needs. While I waited I was updated on the progress of everything by Christopher.Overall, NTB made today a lil easier by getting me back on the road as quickly as possible.

The staff/management there is consistently polite, friendly and professional - the problem is that theyre under staffed (most likely due to the coronavirus situation) thus you will have to be patient and flexible whenever you need services there. They are trying their best despite difficult circumstances ....

I made an appointment for an oil change at 10:30am. I arrived before my scheduled appointment time and waited in the lobby for 2 hours! Very dissatisfied with the length of wait time. For future reference, it would be appreciated if the staff would communicate if they are running behind so that the customer has an expectation.

I went in for an unscheduled alignment, paid much less then the dealer had quoted me. The service was done sooner than expected and I was provided with a print out of my alignment.

Someone slashed two of my tires, and I decided it was time to buy a new set. Will at this NTB went above and beyond to get me the exact tires I wanted that were on a really good sale. Buying tires unexpectedly isnt fun, but the team at NTB gave me compassionate, quick, and affordable service when I needed it most. While I hope Im not back for tires anytime soon, this NTB is my new go-to for all of my maintenance. Keep up the amazing work guys!

Not very happy with this NTB at the moment. I have gotten all my oil changes with them since I bought my car in 2016 because the reservation system is so easy to use and they always get it done in a few hours.Well, about a month after my most recent oil change (yesterday), my car started to smoke. BAD. Took it to a local mechanic because I wasn’t sure I could make it all the way to NTB with how badly it was smoking. Turns out during my last visit, the NTB tech crushed the new oil filter like a can of soda when inserting it. So, every time I drove, it proceeded to spray oil all over my exhaust, to the point where eventually it started to smoke and burn if I went over 30 mph.Local mechanic fixed NTB’s mistake, degreased my car and it ended up being cheaper than the oil change I’d gotten from NTB in the first place, and only took under an hour.Look elsewhere, folks.

He got me in and out for an oil change and gave me some tips as well. Definitely where you should go for your car needs.

Got two new tires and alignment and oil change and everything was smooth fast and easy. Thumbs up because most places around here seem shady while NTB is professional.

Been going to them for years. Have always been satisfied. Competitive pricing, great service, and they always stand behind their work.

Great honest work. And I’m skeptical of chain shops but they’ve gotten my trust. Mr Tire has said I needed new brakes and they inspected them and said I really have a lot of brake life left.

My car had a small leak in a plastic connector. Replacement cost, $16.00. The service manager suggested a full diagnostic test and tune up. Cost $530.00. And the leak problem was still there! Do yourself a favor and try many of the many mechanics in the neighborhood. But do not go to Merchants. A well known ripoff!

Merchants is generally busy because they do professional work. You should always call ahead to make an appointment but theyll do their best to get you out on time.

They have always done a good job on my vehicles. No complaints here.

The office on Harford Road in Baltimore, Maryland is a great place. Only grip I have is you have to double check and make sure they put everything back in your car. If they have to go in your trunk. Other then that I will return.

Great Customer Service. Went above and beyond to make everything right. Manager Kelly Dugan was great. I will come again.

I asked them to mount & balance 2 new tires and balance the other 2 tires that werent being changed. They charged me for all of the work, but when I got home I saw that the 2 tires that were supposed to balanced still had the old wheel weights on them. I called and they said that they forgot to balance them and that I need to bring the car back to have it done. Funny that they didnt forget to charge me $20 for the balancing that they didnt do. When I got there, for the second time that day, the guy just said sorry when I pointed out that most customers wouldnt have noticed that the work wasnt done. There are also greasy hand prints all over my car. I was not impressed with how this situation was handled.

Appointment times are kept. Staff are courteous and helpful. Pleasure to do business with.

A radiator hose cracked open at 6:00PM on a Saturday night. I live in Gaithersburg, MD and was in a bad situation. My nephew recommended Merchants, they took my car in, the price was reasonable, and I was back on the road in about an hour. I highly recommend this Merchants location!

Worst place to fix fleet vehicles! Been there twice, first time to try and get a oil change, second time to fix a flat tire. Spoke to two different sales reps. The mement I say its a fleet vehicle their faces changes and they start making excuse of why they cant fix car. First time rep told me Wont be able to do oil change for 4 days, A OIL CHANGE, really!! Second time rep full of excuses. Told me wont be able to contact fleet service to make repair then I need new tire oh and dont have in stock I was like forget it Ill go some place else and never go back.

Great people who seem fair and do good work. In Baltimore having an alignment plan is critical and they offer a great one!!

Terrible work mounting tires. I got a new set of tires on my wheels here and they bent the wheels in several different places on multiple wheels. Thanks for ruining my $1200 wheels.

I just called and got the worst service ever . If you are a female call with your facts and look online first because he tried to quote me higher prices than what was online . When i told him i been there before, he said well let me look at your file and see if it’s a cheaper tire i can get in . You shouldn’t have to look at my file to see how much i paid before . You’ should just give me the correct price . Then when i asked him to break down the price in a quote he provided me he tried to say it was taxes . I did the math, and it was still too much . I cancelled my appointment and they just lost a customer forever, and I’m telling everyone not to go there . I really feel it’s because I’m a female . Of course everyone there isn’t like this but whoever it was that i spoke to lost a customer forever!
