Let me just say I have been to several beauty schools, and they were extremely professional, helpful, timely, knowledgeable, and most importantly gave me what I was looking for in a color service. This place was NOT that. After the 3rd visit (a redo appointment) I still didnt get the correct color desired. No amount of time spent with the color in was going to fix that. If youre going for something simple I believe this is the place but I guess I shouldnt have had such high hopes and will go back go my regular stylist.Response:All 2 times I had to work I made it clear what time I had to leave for work. Visit 1 took 4 hours to lighten and then you closed. Left with SOPPING wet hair (Did not cut anything short by me as you claimed in your voicemail).The 2nd time everything was done in the time required to process. Color didnt stick but student blamed teachers for advising against toning my hair. The student told me that you the teachers advised against toning my hair but as a result it became my fault that the color didnt stick? Color has always stuck to my hair so claiming my hair is too healthy is completely absurd. Nobody in the salon came to me and addressed anything other than rescheduling. As I had to work yes, I left so no nothing was cut short as you again claimed. (See the blaming the client trend?).The last time I was promised there would be enough time for her to put the color in and let it process correctly as I arrived at 1:15 and had to leave by 3:50 and she knew this from the start. She assured me this was enough time to do everything. And you know what? If there wasnt then there needed to be communication that there wasnt. Not blame the client for needing to leave.I AGAIN left with sopping wet hair and not even an offer for me to come back to dry.Over and over again I kept getting excuses from all people involved. The student blamed the teachers. The teachers blamed my hair. And now the owner blames me for not letting it process enough when I wasnt allowed to leave for 20 minutes just down the street to perform a job duty that the student absolutely said would be fine and then at the end said oh I actually have to check and it became a huge issue. From start to finish my experience felt like it was being handled unprofessionally.I understand youre a school but like I said above I have been to beauty schools before and the teachers were much more involved and present to discuss and make sure the correct processes were happening. A HUGE aspect of client services is ensuring it is completed in a timely manner.At no point in any of this process did anyone admit they made a mistake. Not one. Your response as a business owner and leader of a company of a customer service environment is abysmal.

I have super curly hair and this is the only salon I found that can cut it correctly! Each time I go, it’s a different student but they always cut it perfectly! The instructors are super helpful and patient when the students have questions about curly hair. Absolutely love this place! Can’t imagine getting my hair cut anywhere else!

A co-worker and I went from our salon in Castle Rock to speak at New Dimensions Beauty Academy. The staff was very welcoming to their guests and gave us any assistance we needed on our set up. One thing I noticed from walking in is they were doing announcements. Any questions or concerns were being answered which I think is great. They clearly are invested in helping their students succeed. As guest speakers we covered a broad spectrum of things in a tiny bit of time which can be tough to follow because many students were at different points in their academic careers but all the students were eager to soak in the information. This was great to see. We enjoyed our experience with the staff and students and will be back!

Horrrrrrible hair service COMPLETELY messed my hair up. It looks like a 3 year old did my hair and this girl was almost done with school after 1 year. This is what they taught her to do. I cried in my car after I left. The first time she washed my hair out after the bleach that i ONLY wanted her to blend some harsh line she left it blotchy, i (not a professional) had to help show her where to reapply bleach because she left my hair incredibly blotchy. Just like the review below, she admitted she basically didnt know anything. Which clearly she did not.

I went into the New Dimentions Beauty Academy after my hair and makeup artist cancelled on me last minute for my boudoir shoot. They were able to get me in right away with amazing customer service and care to insure I got the services I needed.

Very rude and disrespectful place!! I was trying to explain what I want done and I kept getting interrupted with the same phrase by the employee or owner. Not sure whom the person was, but she would not let me talk and explain. Very rude!!! She kept saying, we cant do this now She did not even wait for me to explain what I am asking or wanting to do. Let customers talk and then reply. Use common sense people!!!

I attended New Dimensions in 2016 for the Cosmetology program. Once licensed I realized that I received a much more in depth and a higher quality education than many of my peers who attended other schools. I decided to go back to school in 2018 for the barbering endorsement so that I will have dual licenses and be able to offer my clients more variety of the high quality services that they receive from me. I am so happy to be an Alumni twice over, and enjoy going back to visit the school. I have been an esthetician off and on for 20 years. I did not realize how much I needed a review in microdermabrasion and chemical peels. Dawn and Tracy are wonderful! They made sure I new everything before receiving my certificates. I highly recommend New Dimensions for training or services. Great people!

The staff is so nice and accommodating. I went in to get perm and was was given a consult first. After some great advice I will be getting the service this weekend. While I was there I had Jo do a brow tint, which I love. Reasonable prices are a bonus!

Annabelle and Olive are literally THE BEST!!!! I went in requesting “beach waves” and they spent over four hours carefully making sure I left with FLAWLESS hair that makes me feel like I just got back from vacation :-) Salons around town either quoted me triple the price OR outright refused and these two rose to the occasion!! Hurry though - they are graduating soon and I am MOST definitely following them to whatever salons they end up!

I took my daughter in for a haircut and was greeted by the nicest staff. I was unsure how to cut my daughters hair and Sara the instructor suggested the perfect style for my daughter. Her hair looked fantastic! I inquired about other services and Sara suggested gel nails. I got my nails done while my daughter got her hair cut. Sara also help me pick the color for my nails too. Both my daughter and I felt special being pampered and was well taken care of. Sara also suggested eye lash extensions and I have an upcoming appointment. I look forward to that! I highly recommend going there!

I got my hair cut and colored with Courtney, and she did an absolutely amazing job. I could not be happier with my hair, its so beautiful. The whole staff is so wonderful and the teachers are great, always there to help, they give the students such good instructions that I felt like a was learning along with them! I had such a great experience.

I graduated this month from the New Dimension Beauty Academy in Parker, Colorado. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a course in beauty education.I checked out other beauty schools in Colorado, online and by phone, and chose NDBA. My choice was above and beyond all my expectations.I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dawn and Wendy. I do not live in the U.S. and the idea of studying there was quite daunting. Dawn and Wendy were like family and contributed to the fantastic experience I had in Parker. They helped me during orientation after I arrived in Colorado and provided ongoing support in every way.The professional instructors have in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and encourage students to perform at the highest levels. They were patient and available when I had questions. The written material was excellent, and the practical training helped me provide first-rate service to customers. The school also skillfully prepared us for the Colorado Board Tests. NDBA is the greatest!

I took continued education at New Dimentions in the permanent makeup course. I loved the one on one attention I received in class during my training. The instructors were always available to answer any questions I had during class and even now outside of class. It really shows that they want ALL their students to be successful.

Annabel is very experienced with her coloring. A while ago I got rainbow and it faded so well. I just got a red/purple color and it looks fabulous. Definitely recommend her!!! Her cuts also look so good

I have been getting my nails done at this beauty academy for years and always love them.All of the girls are extremely knowledgeable and love what they do! The school offers a wide variety of beauty services from deep conditioning, corn rows, professional cuts and highlights, facials, pedicures, and more.

Got my haircut today but didnt love it at first. I decided I wanted 2 more inches off and wanted it to look a little different so they fixed it the same day, free of charge. Love the length now, my stylist was great and the instructor checked it and made sure that I liked it and was willing to fix anything. Ive come here several times and Im very grateful that they work hard to make their clients happy.

Pmu classes are 👎🏼 for the price u pay nearly 5k. I wish 1 on 1 student shadowing would be done and practice on fake skin (more then 1) and for each service u learn lips, eyeliner, brows;before doing a service on a real human. After all its permanent make up.! Microblading was the teacher takes over does the service and really dont let u do it plus takes away your learning experience. Yea I passed got my certificate but do I feel comfortable no. Explain this and they said I would have to pay to attend more. Instead of resolving my discrepancy. Also after flowing there pressure most of my clients ink healed out. Disappointing More shadowed practice is needed with 1 on 1 teacher for students. There is more emphasis on paper work then the craft it self. Plus this school is the most expensive in Denver thinking it would be quality. As far as PMU it can be directed and observed with higher standards.

Went in and got a full acrylic set from Annabel! She did an amazing job and everyone else there was just lovely. The environment is so friendly. The shape is perfect and they have so many color options. Going back for more services in the future and Im very happy with the professional and friendly environment!

I feel like it is important for prospective students and clients looking into New Dimensions to receive a review from someone who went there themselves. I studied and graduated from New Dimensions during the 2013-2014 year. It is one of the greatest experiences I have had in my life. Not only is it meticulously educational, its truly like being accepted into a family. The education courses each student is required to go through before entering the floor (in which they can provide services to clients) is extensive. Sanitation is of the upmost priority above everything and the facility and equipment is consistently cleaned and sanitized to prevent any thought of contamination. The instructors and owners are some of the kindest, well educated, invested, and strong women you will ever meet. They dedicate themselves to helping you become successful in and out of New Dimensions. The genuine attention, care, and support you receive is leagues above any other school in the entire state which instructors like Julie, Kim, and Tracy, who have become masters at their craft. You wont find a more fulfilling education anywhere else, I can promise you that. I toured multiple cosmetology schools before I discovered this one, and none come close. The owners, Wendy and Dawn, have the biggest hearts you could ever imagine and they do anything and everything for the students, staff, and clientele to keep New Dimensions the most successful Cosmetology school in Colorado. Every single student has been trained and tested in every area to prepare them for state board regulations. Since graduating, I aced my state-boards due to the impeccable education I received here and was hired immediately at a high end salon. I couldnt have reached this level of achievement without New Dimensions, and I am forever grateful. You simply will not find a better place as a student or a client.

I gave them three chances, was very disappointed each time. Students may be learning how to cut and color, but what good is that when they dont know how to listen to the clients request? They need to add the importance of customer service to their curriculum.

Got a deep conditioning treatment and the girl who did my hair was in a rush to get out on time. My hair was dripping wet underneath the dryer and when I was done, she didnt even blow dry my hair at the end. Also the prices on the site are not what they charge you. On the site it says $7 but they charged $12. Change your prices on the website.

I have been going to New Dimensions since last summer. I have had a great experience. I get the gel manicure. The students are very nice and professional. I have recommended the school to family and friends. Thank you for a great experience.

Today was my first visit to New Dimensions. I went for a full hair color and haircut. The results were awesome! The color was amazing and the cut was just what I wanted. I will definitely be going back!

Fried my cousins hair practically off.Professional enviorment? Nope.Eyebrow waxing? Uh no.Dont waste your money if you are looking for a long term beauty makeover regardless of what it is. They put you with very sweet girls but unfortunately none are properly trained and act clueless and even inform you they dont know what theyre doing. Even when the instructors take over it doesnt help one bit.Never going back. The prices are cheap, but not worth the outcome At all.

It was a fantastic school I was here for a year and three months and I learned so much! The teachers are very helpful and fun to learn from. They where very understanding of things that went wrong and taught me how to fix it and move forward and grow from my mistakes. They where very flexible tlwith my schedule.

**STUDENT REVIEW** I graduated March of 2018. I went to school here for Esthetics. When signing up for this schoolMs.Dawn showed me around and won me over with her award winning personality. Oh man was I in forrude awaking. I was 33 going back to school after 12 years and boy was it HARD! I had to relearnhow to learn again. The first 8 weeks or so you have to take like 2 tests a week. Then when you go onthe floor you do one test a week. It has taken me this long to write a review because I wasnt sure how I felt.The Co-Ownersamily that owns this school are AMAZING! They have beautiful HEARTS that show. The employees arewonderful as well. I love them all. Does that mean I always got along with them....NOPE! We are all women (like2 guys at the school when i went) and sometimes that was a hard one with all our hormones flying around lol.Ms. Wendy always solves the problems for me when i would come to her and talk to her about them. There isso much that I remember everyday when working, Some of the smallest things that MS. Tracy would complainabout that you would never think mattered but IT DOES! They help you understand the Rules and Regulations. Ms. Julie literallyspent a day on how to read them and broke them down section by section on how to read them (AMAZING and boring at the same time).A year after i still look at them and remember how Ms. Julie did it and i break it down. Ms. Denise is a WONDERFUL receptionistthat helps us understand the backside of the salon and helps us book appointments. After a year of not going to this school i havepersonally called the OWNER to get help and info on random things and she always helps me. what OWNER does that? ONE THAT CARES!There are so many beauty schools you can choose to go to but this one has a heart and they will make you PASS YOUR TEST! they prepareyou for your state boards so you dont mess up. Everyone in the class prior to me, my class and the class after me NO ONE FAILED the testfor state board. Just pay attention, study and worry about graduating. School is about passing the boards!!!! I wouldrecommend this school to go too over and over again. THANK YOU LADIES

As a student of the esthetics school, and now a lifelong client, I can honestly say New Dimensions has it all! I got the best education. Ive never had a better chemical peel anywhere. I will always go to New Dimensions, before even the professional salons I used to work at. I now live across the country but make time to get my face worked on at the school when I visit every few months. The teachers know EVERYTHING! They are so smart and talented. The students are very confident and knowledgable, which makes the experience so much better. Nothing is ever done without checking with a teacher, and these teachers are more knowledgable than some of those estheticians charging the big bucks, guaranteed!

Called ahead to ask if they take walk ins. Person on the phone said yes and then hung up. Decided to make the twenty minute drive in because they have great reviews. Ended up standing in the lobby for a few minutes while a couple of people, I assume students, stared at me. Nobody greeted me or offered to help. Ive never walked out of an establishment before, but apparently they dont care to have my business.

I took in my hair extensions to get them colored and Amanda did an AMAZING job matching them to my hair. Great prices too. The receptionist who was there when I picked them up was a little unfriendly. That was my only complaint.

I recently had my hair cut by Alyssa Hartgers, a student cosmetologist, and she was very conscientious and provided me with a few tips. Carlena (sp?), an instructor, reviewed the cut (as the instructors do with all their students) and complimented her on a great cut!

This may not be as swanky of a place as I am used to, but after realizing that I was spending a small fortune a year on my hair I decided to give a school a shot. I was hesitant to not go to one of the name brand places, but this was close to home and I figured what did I really have to lose, its just a cut and condition. The building was easy to miss as a beauty school and it was congested when I walked in (making it really hard to tell who was in line and who wasnt). The lady at the desk checked me in and my stylist (Kamilea, I may be spelling her name wrong!) came up within minutes. The stations were a little dated and the shampoo bowl was even moreso, which made me nervous. But the girl was super friendly and talkative but not overbearing. She was attentive and brought the instructor over to confirm her plan with my cut. She was slower but it was clear that she was dedicated to doing a good job. Coffee was an extra charge, which is fine by me as its a school, but I wish they had more variety (there wasnt any actual coffee). When finished I was super thrilled, the cut looked as good as some that Ive paid 4xs the amount for. I will be returning. Well done ladies.

I have been going to New Dimensions Beauty Academy for the last year and a half for facials, and microdermabrasion. During that time, I have been very satisfied with the friendliness, and courtesy of the staff. They always answer any questions I may have about my skin, and the students have provided a very relaxing, calming and enriching facial. I like the fact that they use Sanitas products from Boulder, which is organic and a very high end line of facial products.

The pedicure I got here was just what I needed to show my toes off this summer.They did a fantastic job and Im happy with the results! 😊

Ive been coming here several times over the past couple years for a variety of things and always have a a great experience. New Dimensions gives me exactly what I want for much cheaper than an actual salon, its a great place.

One thing is to screw up & admit to a mistake. But to completely cover your mistakes with excuses & allowing a client to leave the salon looking worse than how he/she came in, is unprofessional. These poor girls/guys look up to instructors who clearly dont know all too well about hair if they ever let a client leave in tears or frustration.I am a stylist of 6 years and when multiple of your clients end up in my salon for fixes, it just breaks my heart, that a salon with stylist instructors that have 20+ years, still manage to have a hand full of clients who leave unsatisfied and its unbelievable what Ive seen over the years.Its very upsetting that these woman are teaching our future young adults how to do hair when they are incapable of fixing their own mistakes. You as stylist should be able to inform your clients of the DOs and DONTs of hair. They trust you and when you destroy that trust thats how you will continue to lose service.

The school and students are always ready and willing to help. I have been there several times and have always been happy!

Called about their permanent makeup class and they were very unprofessional on the phone asking me if I was an esty or a cozzy? Whatever that means, I am however an Esthetician if thats what they were referring to maybe they just dont want to use proper grammar. They would not let me speak to admissions and told me the class was booked up even though it wasnt last week when I called. I was suppose to be on their upcoming class list and they couldnt find me. I left a message for an admissions counselor and no one ever called me back. I found a different school from DORAs approved school referral list called United Beauty Academy in Denver their price is way better less than half of what New Dimensions is charging and they have pleasant and professional people answering the phone. Avoid New Dimensions if possible you can get a huge list of approved schools from DORA for Colorado that are much better than this place.

My experience at New Dimensions Beauty Academy was life changing. As a young single mother, dealing with getting back on my feet after my divorce I had no where to turn. When I interviewed at New Dimensions, for the cosmetology program; Dawn reassured me that I would have a great support team. And I did. The staff, students and instructors helped me not only with my personal struggles but I also feel, I am leaving the school as a profeshional. This is Not a cookie cutter school. You learn what you push yourself to learn. After learning the basics, the instructors at New Dimensions allow students creativity and advanced learning. This includes hair color formulating, updos, braiding, nail art, skin care, make up and much much more. Things you will not find at chain school. Instructors will take the time out of their day to make sure all the students are understanding and accomplishing what needs to be learned before moving on to a different subject. Kim the basics instructor understood my dyslexia, and the struggles I had being left handed. She used different techniques with me for test taking and practical learning to make sure that I was moving along with the other students at the same rate. Our instructors are very well educated and I recommend them to anyone who is thinking about beauty school.I can not thank this school enough for the 19months I have spent with them. My experience here was awesome. The one who did my nails was Savannah. She did such a great job on my nails. I went in for a full set of acryllics and theyre still holding tight like new. the color she suggested was a great choice and i was very happy with her. This was my first time going to get my nails done here and I would definately go again. Right after my appointment I even recomended Savannah to co-workers. I cant wait to go back in on my birthday!

I know I was a hot mess with my messed up eyebrows because I was scammed, but you guys came to my rescue or I came to you lol either way Im so so happy with my new eyebrows even though I still need touch ups but waaaaayyy worth it ... THANKS YOU LADIES!!!

I enjoyed getting a Gelish manicure by Allie, she does a great job each time I hve had her. The solon is worth the price even if it is students working and learning. I will continue to maintain my nails here. I have told all my friends to come and experience for themselves....

My name is Melodie Messenger and I graduated from the esthetics program at New Dimensions Beauty Academy in August 2015. New Dimensions is an outstanding school. Every one of the instructors were the most supporting instructors Ive ever had. At the time of my enrolment, I was the oldest student on campus. I graduated high school in 1984. The fact that I was the oldest student didnt matter to anyone. I was treated the same as everyone else. Sure, I had a learning curve after having not been in school for 30 years, however, they were all patient with me and I was able to accomplish my goals. Not only did I learn the basics of esthetics, I also learned Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels, which is included in the tuition for esthetics. There arent many schools out there that you can find these advanced classes included in your tuition. If you are looking at Beauty Schools in the Denver area, I give my highest recommendation to New Dimensions! You will Love it! I did and still do!!!

I have been going to NDBA for the past year and it was amazing. I originally had Jamie she was outstanding she and we were able to go through my options with hairstyles. Unfortunately Jamie has graduated (great for her bad for me). I was set up with Sommer and it was very disappointing. She was very intimidated by cutting my hair (angled cut, short in back long in front) as well as the instructor argued with me stating that I could not have that hair cut due to my face shape. I have had that haircut off and on for years and have received multiple complements. With some discussion Sommer finally cut my hair but as a stacked bob with help of the instructor. The haircut itself took over an hour and a half.When I finally left I noticed some mistakes (very short pieces as well as cuts to the back of my neck from the clippers) in the cut and had to have them fixed at another salon since I did not want to deal with another argument with the instructor .I use to love going to NDBA for my cut, color and great conversation not to mention awesome price every 6 weeks, but now I will have to find some place else to go.

I went in for a facial not expecting it last more than 20 minutes but it was almost an hour ling and it was so relaxing, I will definitely be goung back

Everyone really takes the time to get you into the look you want. Everyone is always wanting to learn and the team couldnt be more kind. :)
