Very impressed! My toddler has a hard time with haircuts so I always cut his hair at home, but wanted something more. We booked with Carlos and he was phenomenal! He was so calm and caring with my son, and made him very comfortable. The haircut went to smooth and turned out amazing! I highly recommend and will be coming here to see Carlos regularly! Today we had our first appointment with Carlos to cut 14in of hair off my 5yr old son to donate. I was very nervous since we had so many bad cuts in the past at other places for my 3 boys. Carlos took his time, was great with my son even helping him to make the first cut of his hair, and did an amazing job. My sons haircut turned out wonderful and we will definitely be back for more appointments.

Haircuts are so meticulous and perfect! My family has not had a bad haircut from the barbers/ stylists at Hair Genius. My 6 year old has crazy cowlicks all over his head and somehow Jorge made his hair look perfect! I can’t recommend this place and everyone who works there enough. And ladies, Rebecca gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! He dry it style makes sure your hair will look great! She gave my mom a short cut that was perfect for her hair texture and face shape.

Tried to get a quick little boys haircut. When I walked in, the two barbers were standing outside. When I asked them if they could accommodate they explained they had 2 more people coming in and then would be closed for the evening.

Carlos cut my sons hair for his first “big boy” haircut. My son was VERY anxious about getting his hair cut and Carlos was patient and kind and was able to give him and AMAZING cut. I will not be going anywhere else!

Tiana absolutely hooked it up! I called for a last minute appointment for my son and Tiana was able to squeeze us in right away. They were the only ones in town who had an opening the same day and I was so grateful. Not to mention, Tiana gave my son THE BEST fade and haircut he has ever had and I am very picky on who does his hair. I go out of my way to these guys and gals to get my hair done. They are always friendly, professional, and I have never had a bad haircut with them. The staff is very personable and attentive and they truly make the process a pleasure. Ive been going to them for 3 years now and havent been disappointed.

We’ve had so many amazing cuts here. My boys and husband have gone several times and they’ve had the best cuts ever (seriously, I won’t take them anywhere else) with several different barbers. Never a bad experience. Today I took my daughter for her first real haircut. She’s gotten a few trims but she’s three and her hair has been slow to grow. Her hair is super fine and thin and Diego did the most amazing job. I’m so impressed again. Really love this place!!!

Rebecca was so awesome! I think this was hands down the best experience Ive had at a barber shop/hair cut. Im usually apprehensive about places trimming my bear but she trimmed my beard perfectly (and its a big beard!) and even corrected some things from my previous hair cut free of charge. She really knows what she is doing and makes it fun (even the customer waiting made me laugh) and really knows what shes doing. Overall I will 100% be coming back! Thank you.

The place cuts really good hair. Unfortunately the online booking makes it almost impossible to get an appointment. I used to come in once every 2 weeks before they started using the booking app, but I haven’t been able to get in for over a month now.

First time coming here and I love this place! Everyone here is so friendly and funny. My husband usually sees Carlos; he does such a great job. This time he saw Tony and did such a great job with his hair too. Tony also did my undercut which I’m very happy with. The guys don’t do women’s hair but that’s what Rebecca is for. She cut my 8 year old girl’s hair and my curly Dominican hair. We were all very very happy with the end result. Best hair spot in Parker.

Do you need a fantastic barber? Come here!!!! It is like the movies, the gang is amazing and funny and make you feel at home. Ask for Carlos he is a hair artist and a master of his craft. Best cuts around

I tried this place for the first time last month. You have to use Booksy to book appointments online. I made an appointment with Carlos and got a decent haircut. I tried booking again and there were never any available slots with him so I made an appointment with Jorge based on reviews. I had to make an appointment over a week out. The night before my appointment I get a random text cancelling my appointment for the next morning with no explanation. Come to find out Jorge was “on vacation”. Why leave booking spots open if you’re going to be on vacation?? And why cancel the night before my appointment when you could have done that a week earlier? Very rude and inconsiderate. That really put me in a bind with finding someone to cut my hair at the last minute before a work presentation. This place is a joke and I won’t ever go back. I ended up going to Kingsmen Barbers and got a great cut. They were much more professional.

Our son went here for a haircut and beard trim. Left with the best fade ever and face transformation. Had a general idea of what he wanted and a bit open to suggestion for the beard. Nick is a well seasoned and gifted Barber and he truly possesses the natural art required to know what to do and execute the vision. The other Barbers in the shop looked like they were producing good results on others as well. I will definitely go back to Nick as he truly gave the best hair cut ever and most amazing chinstrap beard. He has the talent and a lot of experience to go along with it. His Dad would be very proud!

Not one to write reviews good or bad, but this bothered me enough to do so.Went into HG with a pre-booked, back to back haircut appointments for my son and I. We showed up to the appointment on time, and upon entering the store, one of the available barbers asked if we are there for a 10 am appointment - which we were. Admittedly, I made the honest mistake of not specifying my sons name or who the appointment was with. He proceeded to cut my sons hair, but soon realized he took the wrong 10 am. This clearly upset our originally scheduled barber. Realizing my mistake, I apologized to both barbers multiple times. However, ultimately both barbers swapped their 10 am appointments, so there was no loss of sale for either barber. After my sons haircut was finished, I proceeded to wait for an additional 35 minutes for the original barber to finish his customer. Once he finished, as I stood up to sit in the barbers chair, he said he cant cut my hair because of his other appointments (despite the fact I HAVE an appointment). He also refused to cut my hair in the future, because I have cancelled multiple appointments in the past. This statement was also incorrect - I have cancelled one appointment in the previous month, not multiple (this is recorded is in their booking system). Regardless, as far as I know, there is a reason you offer cancellations to customers if they are unable to make an appointment. I would think a cancellation would be preferred over a no-show. His position towards me was clearly a vindictive response for my earlier mistake. At this point I simply got up, paid for my sons hair cut (tip included) and left the store, as Im not one to be belligerent and create a scene. Important to note, that no one else in the store offered to help/reschedule me for another appointment etc.I realize Im just talking about a haircut at a barbershop here, but its been a LONG time since Ive received this type of service from a business in our community and felt compelled to write a review. I realize losing one customer or one bad review may not matter for HG, but anytime a business and its employees start treating its customers in this humiliating way, its a slippery slope and signals the beginning of the end.

Walked in shortly after the place opened, and got a great haircut by liliana. It was a little shorter than I normally have but looked fantastic. The four stars instead of five is because the young male stylists were having an extremely loud conversation about sports.

Nick is the MAN! Super friendly and amazing customer service. Took his time and made sure I was satisfied before I got off his chair. Booked appointment through Booksy, will definitely come back to visit him when I come to Colorado.

My husband and son both have hard to cut hair and add my son’s cowlicks and it gets tricky. Both Wes and Nick have done a great job. My boys have found their place for haircuts here.

Had my first appointment with Jorge and I am very satisfied with the services. He not only took time to perfect my sons hair cut but also mine. Expect attention to detail while kicking back and chatting with the staff. I recommend a reservation for sure as their popularity can leave them with a high walk in wait time. I hate to be that one bad review, but here I go. I tried to call ahead and make an appointment today because I didn’t want to sit and wait. The person on the phone said that if we showed up soon as a walk-in we wouldn’t have to wait long. I showed up 15 minutes later. They had 5 barbers there so I thought “Oh, I’ll be fine.” Well, when one barber was done. He went to lunch. We waited his whole lunch break. When he got back I thought “Sweet we’re next!” Nope. He then took a guy that came after us who had an appointment. Understandable. Then we waited. Then another barber finished. I thought our chance had come! Nope. He then went on a lunch break. We waited some more. Then another barber finished. Was it true? Could this be our chance? No again, he took a lunch break also. One more barber finished up and I thought our wait of over an hour was coming to an end....no. Another client with an appointment had come in he had to attend to. By this time I had been there over an hour! We waited over an hour and my kids that were waiting with me were tired and hungry. Frankly, so was I. So we left without a hair being touched. The frustrating part about all of this is I tried to make an appointment to begin with. Anyway, the moral of this long tale is that if you say “we accept walk-ins” or “if you walk-in it will be fine” please make an effort to accommodate walk-ins!!! So, if you’ve got your barber you like to go to and you can plan ahead better than me to get a hair cut... This place will be great for you! But if you live a life that’s a little less structured and you squeeze in hair cutting time when you can, you’re probably best served going somewhere else.

I like the way this place is set up. I accidentally walked in this place on my way to get some chicken. The place looked cool, Modern contemporary design. So I was like F it, I needed a fresh cut it was like 3 months since my last one. So I sat down and one of the owners cut my hair.It was pretty fast, I didn’t have to wait or anything....cool guys, it felt like a genuine Barbershop even though they see girls to. We talked about golf and other things guys talk about in a barbershop.I definitely recommend that place and George cut my hair.

Be wary that even though you s CNN eduled an appointment there will be variation depending on who schedule withSome will have you in plus or minus 10 minutes and other will have you wait like a walk-in (overbooking). Long over due review. I use to cringe of the thought of needing a haircut. Parker has never had a good barbershop. I use to drive 35+ minuets to get my haircut in Aurora and 35+ minutes back. Thank goodness that is no longer the case. Parker finally has a real barbershop!!! These guys take pride in what they do. This is not some pump out three hair cuts in an hour type of place. If you are looking for a cheap fast haircut I suggest looking elsewhere. Going to a barbershop should be planned out as part of your day. These guys are the best around and it is not even close! Jorge and Carlos are excellent and give my son a personal experience every time he comes in. Thank goodness this place opened in Parker, the last thing we needed was another chain. So refreshing to have local, independent and incredibly talented barbers/stylists! Rebecca is amazing and her attention to detail is second to none! I read some reviews about the wait time, but come on...the fact that they are busy means they are drawing a crowd from their exceptional work. Call ahead to see how busy they are or get an appointment requested if someone has an opening, pretty simple steps to get the best look that youve ever had.

I saw Rebecca. She got me in last minute, colored and cut my hair, and styled it so cute! I love it!! This place is a men’s barber, but Rebecca does women too, and she’s great and fun to talk to!

I have probably referred more than 50 people to this place. They are simply amazing! My two boys and I are now regulars here. Lots of attention to detail, great suggestions, and comic relief in the form of the barbers banter. Not a cheap haircut, but definitely a good one. I will happily pay for a better haircut and can’t imagine going back to one of the chains. Ask for George when you stop in, but all the guys do great work. If you are a weekend haircut person, make sure you make an appointment as it’s often packed.

This not the least expensive barber shop in Parker but it may be the best. I have never experienced so much care, attention and professionalism as I did there. They actually feel your wants and needs and work very hard to give you the haircut you want and deserve. Be prepared to wait because they will not rush one customer to satisfy another. If you dont get the cut you want you need to think about how you communicated. Really a high recommendation. They are even child friendly. There were several families coming in during and following my session.

George and Carlos are top shelf pros of barbering. For them it is a profession, not just a check. They spend and hour on a client. Fun atmosphere. Make sure to make an appointment.

I’m glad Hair Genius finally made it to Parker. I used to drive 45 minutes to Southwest Denver to get my boys and I a hair cut. We always look forward to getting our hair cut there because of the friendly staff. They always do an exceptional job and cut our hair just they way we like it. Really liked this place, until I had gone in for my 5th consecutive cut and they had asked me if it was my first time. Couldnt tell if it was disrespect, or they just didnt like me which they are entitled to either way.

It’s best if you call ahead for an appointment, walk in are accepted but wait time can be long as this isn’t a whack your hair off kind of place and they tend to be heavily booked. There was one person who was cutting hair on Presidents’ Day when kids are out of school and some individuals don’t have to work. He informed the customers that he was going to take a lunch which I understand people have eat. He told us that we could wait for him to get done or come back another time. I choose to go to another place to get my hair cut. Why would only one person be working.

My barber of nearly 25 years is taking a break so I gave these guys a shot. No appointment, just walked in the door, and Nick took me straight to his chair. He knew exactly what I needed and made quick work of the mop on my head. Next I treated myself to a shave and Nick was a downright jedi master with the blade. Why anyone goes to the chain shops is beyond me. Same (or better) prices here and WAAAY better skilled staff. 👍

My son and I had a great experience here. I have a beard and have tried multiple places all over Douglas county with no luck. With this place you get exactly what you want in a barber shop, culture, good conversation, and skill. I had Bobby and recommend him fully for either hair or beard trim.

The barbers here are great at their craft, but the customer service is not so great. I’ve tried to have my hair cut here three times. My first experience was fantastic and it was one of the best haircuts I’ve had in my entire life. Since then, I came an hour before closing, and they told me they could fit me in, and after waiting an hour, was told that I would need to come back another day. The third attempt yielded a similar result. Very frustrating! I would prefer the barbers just to tell me that they can’t get me in so I don’t have to waste an hour waiting. My advice would be to only come here if you have an appointment.

For years now, I have been looking and waiting for a barber in Parker who can do a good fade. Hair Genius is the spot! They specialize in all styles of mens cuts, not just fades. Men, dont waste your time or money anywhere else in Parker.....seriously. In fact, I got so frustrated with getting bad haircuts from people who really didnt care about doing a good job - just turning and burning - that I eventually started cutting my own hair. Glad I dont have to do that anymore!

You gotta go here!!I’ve had my hair cut by the same hair stylist for 18 years. Unfortunately, we moved and the Drive was becoming a bit much. I was still planning on making the drive if I didn’t find someone locally. I wanted a barber that was younger with a sense of fashion. That’s pretty tough to find.Fortunately, I found these guys. This is a legit barber shop but is trendy and fashionable. Alfred cut my hair and he was a true master of his craft. He also sculpted my beard focusing on every stray hair. His attention to detail was impeccable. The hot towel and oil was also awesome. I noticed that the other barbers were also doing a great job. Everyone here really cares about being an independent and successful barber.My other reviews are all based on how excited I am to go back. Normally, that’s tough because how excited do guys get to have their hair cut. Well, I must admit that I’m already excited to go back for the next cut with Alfred.Give them a shot. You (and your wife) will thank you.

Disappointed. I love the haircuts we have received from this location but today my husband experienced very poor customer service. He called yesterday and asked for an appointment for a particular barber he was told to call or come in this morning at 10. My husband decided to go there. He was told the barber he had requested had a 10AM appointment but that he could do the cut after. So he waited and waited and waited at 10:45 another person walked in and said they had an appointment with the same barber. This upset my husband because if they were organized and had a way to track actual appointments this type of mistake would not happen. He left the establishment and will not return. So tragic. How difficult is it to have a schedule and use it?

By far the best Barber Shop in Denver Metro.Jorge the owner and Yanca, his brother, are true artists and masters of their craft.And they are surrounded by a great team of Professionals that are constantly perfecting and improving under Jorges guidance and supervision.I have myself had to be patient and waited to be serviced when I walk-in, but it is because it cant be easy to get the barbers they hire. Every one in their shop is Top notch, and I wouldnt want them to decrease the quality of their staff, just to fill the seats.So, to those who have had to wait a bit to get your hair or beard or your kids done, I would say, Patience Pays, and waiting for a haircut at Hair Genius is Totally Worthed!!

Things have definitely changed from a year ago! Their ad says they fix bad haircuts, but now they do bad haircuts! Had bad experience with ‘Nick’ who cut my hair for New Years, asked him to even things out and he refused, said my hair grew that way! Went to ‘Kingsmen Haircuts for Men’ they fixed me up! If you want a bad haircut please see Nick! Response - I did come back on a day of the same week to request fix! It was not a moth later that would be unreasonable!

The customer service wasnt the best. The first time i came in was as a walk in, ended up waiting there for an hour and left without a hair cut. Second time i had made an appointment, hair cut came out amazing, got the guy’s number who’s name was Jorge. Texted Jorge 2 weeks after that haircut to come in for another one and never heard back from him. Called the store and asked the lady who answered the phone if she could leave a note for Jorge with my phone number and name so i can get a call back because i thought, maybe i got the wrong number? Never heard back after she left a note for me either... im pretty disappointed because i had just moved here from another state and finally found a place that could cut my hair the way i like it, but the customer service ruined it for me. Still have yet to hear back from them 3 weeks later.

This place is great if you can get in. They wont take reservations when I called. Then close 45 minutes before what their website says. Multiple times. Done trying.
