Deeply disappointed:Rod arrived at my home through a home warranty service two weeks ago. After diagnosing the broken evaporative cooler, Rod determined the unit needed to be replaced and promised hed follow up on the diagnosis with 2-10 Home Warranty (the warranty service) within 1 day, as required by the company’s policy. I paid the $100 service fee to Rod promptly, and looked forward to a speedy process with 2-10 Home Warranty.It has been 2 weeks, and Rite Way plumbing has yet to submit the diagnosis with my 2-10 home warranty service, a process that takes approx 15 minutes. I have called nearly 10 times (once per business day) to request action, but the Rite Way desk assistant repeatedly tells me she has left a message with her boss, to no avail. I find it hard to fathom how over the course of 2 weeks, multiple messages are not received by the boss. Meanwhile, average daytime temperatures in the Littleton, CO area have been upwards of 95 deg F, with indoor temperatures climbing to the high 80s (given the broken evaporative/swamp cooler).I am deeply disappointed with Rite Ways service quality, and can assure you that their tardiness will haunt you, particularly if you are relying on them for a simple service. The disconnectedness of the business, the poor communication, and the complete disregard to punctuality and their clients concerns & comfort weigh heavily. In an era where retail service quality makes all the difference, I strongly dissuade you from doing business with them.Update (Dec 2018): never heard back from Rite Way, no follow ups, no clarifications, no word. I spent ~3 hours in total trying to speak with someone at their office and no one followed up. AVOID this business; I recommend “Priority Drain & Sewer”.
This company rocks. Installed a new furnace and a hot water tank in 2016. Called this past month for a free checkup. On time. Professional. Courteous and best price of anyone. Have recommended them and would use them again.
We went with Riteway who was recommended by our friend. We needed a new furnace and water heater in our home. After the fair estimate we were given I called them and was scheduled for the install. It didnt take as long as I thought it would to get on the schedule and have them out here to install. Rod and Mark showed up on time. Worked in a quick and efficient manner. Were courteous and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and left our home the way it was when they came in.Now we have hot water and heat for the cold days to come!Thank you guys so much! ! We will be recommending you as well.
We have worked with RiteWay on two occasions: the installation of a Halo 5 and a minor repair to our boiler system for our heat. In both cases, we were thrilled with the work that they did and the folks that they sent out to help us. They are on our list of go-to people for plumbing!

I had to install a Halo 5 system Purification and conditioning system. Aaron came and give me the best quote and came couple of times to just address few of my concerns before getting the contract. Once I gave the contract he showed up on time and wrapped up the work on time. Highly recommend Riteway and ask for Aaron. Also done a good job of cleaning the premise after the work was done.
Emergency hot water heater issue 2 days before Christmas. CJ called and tried to diagnose over the phone, issue was more complicated so he sent out Mark. Mark quickly hurried over and began to fix, the part we needed was a specialty part and no supply stores were open so Mark and CJ drove around looking for the part and making calls. Marks schedule was full the following day but he used his free time to come over and finish the job. Outstanding work and the best customer service I have ever witnessed! I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism, customer service and expertise that this company has shown! They have a life long client in me and those I speak with.
Riteway was recommended by our home warranty company to replace our central A/C unit. I did not like our warranty company at all and did a buy out, but liked Aaron and Mark so much we still hired them independently after having a few other contractors give us bids. They were honest, reasonable, and worked with our schedule. I would recommend them to anyone looking for A/C or heating services.
Despite some negative reviews I decided to go with Rite-Way.The new management and office staff are polite and timely.Jessica called me back day of with my schedule options. When I had my a/c serviced I was greeted by Mark on time and with professional mannerism. He got my a/c running again and we couldnt be happier! I have referred them to a couple of my friends.I will be using them for my bathroom project next month!
Very professional. Out of three quotes I felt that Riteway was the most honest. High quality of work. My husband and I have referred many people to them.
I had a washer faucet and water main shut off that needed replacing. It became rather complicated and ended up with several service calls, but it wasnt RiteWays fault and they kept me informed the whole time, continually following up so I knew what was going on. Once everything came together and they could replace the valves, the job was done on time and neatly.
I am writing this from last year (since I got a email to review this place) I thought other customers should know a employee came out through our warranty company 2-10 the guy never came back with the part, my husband just ended up fixing it!

Inconsistent customer service. They did not show up or call on the day they were supposed to install a water heater, during follow up calls they didnt call back within the time frame they said they would, and they provided an inaccurate quote on an install. I am giving them two stars because they did answer the phone after hours when there was confusion with the water heater Sears delivered, they did a fine job when they finally installed the water heater and they were polite in all communications I had with them.
RiteWay fixed what I couldnt! They did it right away and in a short time. The right fix and the right price, no a great price!I called RiteWay back to fix another problem.Again, everything was fixed the first time, quickly and correctly.I will always call RiteWay First!
Did not deliver as promised and delayed our swamp cooler from being fixed in the heat of summer. Not only disappointed, but also enraged by how we were treated. Avoid at all costs.

I had Riteway Plumbing and Heating install an electric water heater in my house in November 2017. The first water heater constantly tripped the breaker, indicating a wiring fault.When they came to fix it, the guy spent a few hours trying to fix the wiring, finally deciding it was a faulty heater and replaced it with a new one.After my electricity bill going SKY HIGH, I investigated the heater that was installed - ***it wasnt the model they promised they would install***, and actually had a worse efficiency rating than the one I was quoted on. Ive asked Rod to look into it multiple times, and never hear back.Now, tonight, the same water heater only provided enough hot water for a 15 minute shower, without ANY hot water being used in the house for the entire 4 hours prior. NOT happy, Ive filed a BBB complaint, and I will never use this company again.

Called and asked if they sell and install window air conditioners. They said they did. Sent out a guy for an estimate and he said they didnt sell them but would install one if I bought it. So I bought one and made an appointment to get it installed. No problem until the day of the installation they called and said they didnt install window air conditioners. Seems pretty shady and unreliable to me. Everything they told me turned out to be lies. Caveat emptor.

My family lives in a rural community and our home has baseboard heating (hot water). Our hot water heater is integrated into our boiler/heating system and is not your every-day run of the mill hot water heater that my husband would be able to easily replace at Lowes or Home Depot. We found RiteWay on Home Advisor and they were prompt in their reply to our request, even though it was after business hours.During our initial appointment CJ went through exactly how our system worked with me. He provided a comprehensive explanation without talking down to me or dismissing my questions as unimportant. He provided reasonable options for us and presented us with an extremely fair quote (less than half of what another company quoted). He was patient and didnt pressure us for a decision while we accumulated the funds for the repairs, then, when we called to schedule, his crew was out within a few days. During all this his CSR/Office Manager was fantastic. She was communicative and helpful every step of the way.On the day of the repair his team arrived within the window of time that was provided and they completed the job quicker than anticipated. They were efficient, friendly and polite.My personal opinion is that RiteWay Plumbing and Heating is a hidden gem in the Douglas/Elbert County area and they have our business for the long haul. They were honest and respectful of our situation and we really couldnt ask for more in a group of service professionals. Ive already shared their information with others... and will continue to do so as they have earned not only our business, but our referrals as well.
Terrible! Dont show up on time and dont even update you on when theyll be there. Instead they turn off their phone so theyre unreachable. How are these people even still in business?!

They came out for a season furnace check and found a crack in the heat exchanger, I had just bought the house and another company gave it a check and found NO problems.I called 2 other heating companies, they confirmed the crack. Riteway had the best techs and great over the phone service so I went with them,On time, on budget, very clean........I had a great time with the crew !I will use Riteway Plumbing & Heating for all my future needs !

I had scheduled to have my swamp cooler replaced. I received a call the day before my appointment to verify everything was all set. IT WAS NOT! The technician that came to replace it was on my roof working for 2 hours before he told me that they did not have the unit, causing me to lose a day of work. He left and said he had to reschedule. On the day before the reschedule I received another phone call telling me that I was all set to have it installed again. On the day of the SECOND ATTEMPTED install I receive a call from the technician 3 hours before my scheduled appointment to tell me that they AGAIN DID NOT HAVE THE UNIT. Once again I missed another day of work. At this point I am FRUSTRATED AFTER MISSING WORK TWICE due to Riteways total lack of communication. I called their office again to speak with the owner CJ. I was told he would contact me, which HE NEVER DID. I understand that parts may not be available, but their communication with me was abhorrent. I would have appreciated honesty in that my unit was not available and would have been very happy to wait until it was in stock before rescheduling the install. I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
My girlfriend and I had another company come out to tune up or furnace as part of our service agreement who then told us we had a cracked heat exchanger and that we need to replace our furnace.My girlfriend heard of Riteway from her coworker, we called them and they came out and ran some tests and found out that was not the case at all! We were not charged for them to come out and give us a second opinion. Honest company. So thankful we decided to get that second opinion!P.s. ask them to do a combustion analysis. =)
These guys are a rip off. They came out (eventually) and didnt do the job correctly but had the guts to charge me full amount. I had to hire a real plumber to correct their mistakes and keep my pipes from leaking. The office staff are rude when they answer the phone, but sometimes you cant get a hold of anybody, especially when you need them. The plumbers they send out are unprofessional and dont understand local codes. Youve been warned. Stay away!

Great Service!Had issues getting our old furnace to kick on a couple of weeks ago and found out that it had numerous cracks that could have posed a danger for carbon monoxide. We had it serviced a year before and another company failed to notice the obvious issue! Aaron @ RiteWay did the initial check and actually did the install of the new furnace as well. Couldnt be happier with the service. We did have some minor technical problems after the initial install but everyone was more than accommodating, Aaron even worked a couple of late evenings to get us heat again. Strongly recommend these guys!
Careless and endless amounts of lies will be told to you either over the phone or in person. Best to stick with another company if you know what’s good for you.
Terrible company with terrible values. The person they sent was inexperienced and broke our hot water then refused to fix it. They absolutely refused to leave the house in the condition that they found it. Poor judgment and poor business values. So sad to see a long standing company use such awful customer service traits. Do yourself a favor and do not use!!
Terrible experience. The first plumber took over an hour and it still leaked. The second guy two days later stopped the leak, but left with the water turned off. He came back while we werent there, and called when he was leaving to tell me he left vise grips on the outdoor below-ground valve so I could turn it back on myself. And they charged me $225, saying the cartridge assembly was $100. I looked on Amazon and a factory part is $27.71. Well never use them again.Update - they called me and said they will refund our $225. So I moved them up to 3 stars.
Very happy with Riteway plumbing and heating ! We had another high dollar plumbing and heating company check our furnace and AC this year, they claimed a cracked heat exchanger and other problems, 15K in repairs and replace. I called the manufacture Rheem, they referred us to one of their pro-partners in Parker. Riteway Plumbing & Heating The office staff and techs at Riteway are top-of-the-line.They arrived on time and called 30 min. ahead, after a thorough examination several test they confirmed no cracked heat exchanger, I had a service plan with Excel energy, their findings were the same as Riteway plumbing heating NO cracked heat exchanger !Since then I have had Riteway plumbing and heating out to my house for different plumbing and heating repairs, Im very happy with their customer service and technicians, I will refer them to all my friends and use them as my go to plumbing and heating company in the future.Joseph Green

Called thus afternoon to co firm tina confurmed for 3-5 pm. Left work early. They were a no show no call. Wrongway would be more appropriate. Dont bother with this company
Incredible experience and coincidence ! I hired Riteway plumbing and heating to replace my water heater. Now heres the short story, I actually went to flight school with CJ the owner back in 1984, he was a plumbing contractor then and very busy, in fact as I recall over 90 plumbers (one of the larger outfits in town) he did work for me and my family at that time for several years.We both received our pilot license, I went to work for United Airlines and relocated, lost contact for several years. Now back in town I needed a water heater replaced called Riteway plumbing and heating, after talking with their technician Jeff I learned that the owner was CJ, incredible !! I was so happy to see he was still in business and doing well, smaller shop and apparently residential service only.I will absolutely referrer Riteway plumbing and heating to all my friends and family whenever possible,Blue skies CJ !Jim M

CJ is a very shady owner and would ask if the company is insured and bonded before they enter your house.
Worst quality and service ever provided by any type of company in any industry, I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.
They charged me for AC and furnace tune up when they did my furnace in winter last year... and when I called them to schedule my AC tune up, they had sold the company (under same name) and did not honor what I have already paid for... CHEATS!... AVOID!

Rite way PLUMBING and heating is a joke there employees stop at gas stations sitting in bathrooms for 45 minutes none of them understand anything about PLUMBING nor are they licensed plumbers and the owner will only 1099 his employees I turned in a w4 tax form and the owner refused to take taxes out of my checks which tells me that hes a crook
