Got an oil change here and it was completed within 20 minutes. Super nice guy that answered all my questions and offered me to to wait in their waiting room. Will return in the future

Went in for a smog check, I used a 39.99 coupon I got on the mail, without it would have been about 10.00 to 20.00 more.Being a minivan they charge more, being 1998 they charge even more!2000 or older vehicles take more physical effort on technician and time too, according to different shops I previously visited.They like it when the only thing they do is connect their computer to the cars obd port.Estimated total 58.00, including stupid state certificate. I said yes, it was cheaper than other places.From a good distance I saw the technician do his thing, when I thought he was done the service writer approached me telling me that my minivan passed the test with flying colors but, yes there was a but! It failed the gas tank cap functional test😳. He told me they can replace it for 12.00 dlls. Later I noticed on the receipt it was actually 12.99 dlls. I said ok replace it, I did not want to bother anymore trying to replace the gas cap myself. As I was saying, ok replace it, I was thinking...there goes my savings.As far as I know if a gas tank cap malfunctions it would throw a code, the service engine light will come on and bye bye passing the test.I think they claimed it was bad just to sell me a new gas cap at an inflated price just to recoup what I have saved by using the coupon.Ok place. If you visit this place for a smog check dont forget to bring your own new gas tank cap! Lets find out what other parts they try to sell to pass the test.

Took car in for simple oil change. The new guy. Over tightened the oil plug and stripped it so they make excuse its because its a aluminum pan. Ridiculous. I could put that bolt in a thousand times and never strip the threads. He over tightened it big time. I stood there and watched him. Now they say I may need new oil pan. This will become a small claims case if not taken care of. I even called kia dealer and technician verified the Macanic over tightened only way to strip or cross threaded bolt

My smog check was required to be completed at a STAR station and Purrfect Auto Paramount is listed as a STAR location. I had the smog check done and it failed. The mechanic advised me in order to further explain exactly what needs to be repaired and costs hed have to diagnose for an addition $50. I told him I didnt have the money for repairs so it didnt make sense to diagnose. He then advised we can go pay the registration fees to the DMV, submit a request for financial assistance through the BAR CAP financial assistance program that his location is approved for, if qualified come back for repairs and hed put the $50 diagnosis fee toward the total cost of repairs. I agreed, got the diagnosis and it came back with 2 electrical problems but emissions were fine. His estimate was $420.00. I asked if that would resolve the issue and he said he couldnt confirm - due to electrical issue it would be a process of elimination. I submitted the request for assistance thru BAR CAP program and was approved for up to $500. I brought back to him and he then says he is NOT a part of the BAR CAP program and would refer me to another location that IS to complete the repairs but I would need to pay the smog test and diagnosis fees again. I asked him why he is now saying hes not a part of the BAR CAP program and he said because the program takes up to 90 days to pay their shop which is too long for them to wait. I later confirmed thru the DMV and BAR CAP program that his location is in fact a current  approved certified participating location. I confronted him about this and he then proceeded to tell me I am free to go wherever else I wish to have the repairs completed and he didnt do anything wrong.

Expensive and they tell you to fix things that dont need fixing. They put my car thru a test it came out worse

I went to get the belt on my car changed and all they did was short circuit everything it ended up cost me 400 dollars just to fix the mistake they done
