I rented a large truck for a move from PCB to Naples Fl. In the process I rented a large utility trailer twice to get rid of a 28 yr. collection of stuff. U-Haul provided, for hire, loaders in PC, unloading labor and storage in Naples area. Had I asked, they would have provided packers too. We purchased boxes and wrapping tape too. The point of this lengthy discourse is to point out that most of these services were provided by phone. This has been the easiest and least expensive relocation of my life.

Horrible customer service!!!! Save yourself tremendous amounts of aggravation and use any other option. I rented 2 U Boxes for 7 months and had the bill for the U Boxes go up $20 per a box after the first 2 months. I thought that when you contracted for 1 rate that it would be the same for all months. When I tried to call customer service (I sat on hold for an hour plus each time) I was told that I would have to email Tori the store manager. Unfortunately, I received no response to 3 emails and multiple phone calls, so I paid the bill and moved on. 3 weeks ago I called to schedule the pick up of both boxes and reserved the duel trailer. Today when I went to pick up the boxes there was no duel trailer and I was told that I would have to drive 50+ miles each way twice and pay double for my U Haul workers to unload them. When I called I was finally lucky enough to talk with Tori, she has the customer service skills of a goat...She is insisting that I also do that drive twice to return them to the Panama City location rather than the Tallahassee location. I will NEVER use U Haul again and will tell everyone I know.

I stopped by to get my moving materials and change to a larger trailer. I couldn’t have asked for a better more efficient experience. Wyatt was very knowledgeable and very fast in changing the reservation. He and a guy named Blake got my moving materials and loaded them in my vehicle for me. Blake could not have been sweeter .It’s really a fresh breath of air to have 2 young men as these 2 assisting me with great attitudes and friendly too. Please share this with them.I would like to add that when picking up my uhaul I had a wonderful experience with the kindest lady. Dawn was her name. Very knowledgeable and assuring she had everything set for me. Awesomesauce! Thanks Dawn!! You rock!Other than dealing with them, it went sooo WRONG!!I went to pick up my Uhaul. The only truck was broken down, the car dolly was not the correct one, as they don’t look at the information given them. The new black kid was the vulgar one and he said I had to pay him to hook up the car Dolly. They left me sit there for 3 1/2 hours, waited on other people said nobody showed up for work. They transferred me to a car trailer. Long story short. I was trying to get out of my car, nobody helping me to get off the trailer. In the POURING RAIN, I slipped and broke my pointer finger. The lady wanted a picture, but never came back outside. The guy I told you about before. Told me to get out of his way when I got in the truck. I told him the lady wanted a photo. He said whatever I need through. Except for the people I mention above and a darling girl named Chelsey, this place is the absolute sickest business I have ever done business with.I personally hate Uhaul after this experience! Literally I hate Uhaul!!! I didn’t read reviews before I rented!

I called over 2 weeks ago to make an appointment to put a hitch on my truck. I come in today (day of appointment) and they tell me that they dont have the part and I talked to them twice before I drove 2 hours to the actual store. Poor communication and the man got an attitude and blamed it on UPS. Doesnt matter - IF IT WAS GONNA BE LATE JUST CALL ME. plus it doesnt take UPS 3 weeks to bring a package. Never again.

Multiple issues. Was delayed on a move because of the issues. Complained about it in front of the manager. Never even got an apology.

Walked in on Friday to reserve a truck and car trailer. Employee quoted one price, Monday completely different price by $167 more. Unprofessional, do not recommend whatsoever.

I rented a 15 foot truck from this location at the end of January, 2021. I turned it in after hours the same day. Clean and with the proper amount of fuel. They charged my card accordingly and I thought the matter was concluded. On February 19th a charge for $40.59 showed up on my bank account from Uhaul. When I called to inquire about it they said I owed them 10 dollars and they charged me a late fee. I told the representative that when I picked up my rental I was told that the price would be adjusted depending on mileage, cleanliness, and fuel when I returned it. So how could I owe money? She couldnt answer that. I asked why they didnt contact me about it. She said they sent me an email about it, but I check my email daily and receive notifications about it on my phone. No email was sent by them. Her response was very nonchalant. Since they also had my phone number on the rental agreement they could have reached out by a call or text, yet they did not. They refused to return my money. I find that shady and reprehensible.

Worst business in Bay County. Waited 15 minutes waiting on some one to fill propane after I asked 3 different times. Not an isolated incident, it has happened multiple times. Unfortunately this location very convenient for me.

Great people at this location. MUCH better than most U-Haul locations

The man at the counter was more interested in chatting with his co workers than the customers. He seemed so unpleased to help anyone. The truck they gave me, they had the mileage and gas levels wrong. When I told the man he didn’t change the paperwork, I had to pay the difference.

We paid for a hitch install and 20 days later, they still couldnt find the part needed! No phone calls or emails for communication. The manager obviously has no management skills!!

They are such a scam.My mileage and gas was not correct. I took a picture and also told them. I was told it saved, yet when I took the truck back they insisted it was at a half a tank. I put 18$ inside this truck and the meter still did not budge. I told the guy who checked me out and he told me I was good. I check my bank statements and see I was charged an extra 30$ for gas. I will never use them again and I definitely don’t recommend them.

Tori is the manager here. She and her boys, Chris, handled a really rough situation for me. We had reservations for a truck and a trailer at another location in Panama City. It turned out to be a nightmare situation, with a U-Haul location that would not move trucks for us to get the one we rented out and they would not connect the trailer to the truck, which every single U-Haul I have ever rented in 40 years the employees has insisted they must do it. The trailer he tried to give us was wrecked with the brakes locked up on it and the truck had to check engine light on. Both were filthy inside. The trailer hides and appliance dolly in it and the trailer was unsecured. We had to threaten to call the police and the employee there got the manager for the area for U-Haul on the phone, Chris Thompson. Chris listened to me, apologized, gave me another option and sent me to their corporate store on 15th. He told me to speak with Tori. We drove directly there and spoke with Tori and she was ready for us. It took her about 25 minutes to get the paperwork done because all of their computer systems were down, not just at this location but all of U-Haul. We appreciated them resolving the issue and hope that everyone gets the same level of service.

Keep up the good job. Thanks for your service and thanks for helping us save moeny during moves. Uhaul service and price is hard to beat.

Considering how understaffed all of panama city is there doing a great job of trying to help everyone in a timely manner. They are also very polite and helpful, I will always use them for my moving needs

I wish I could leave no stars after everything I went through with a horrible manager named Tori at this Uhaul on 15th St Panama city. I rented a trailer from them and while I was there, i didnt want to rent a dolly so i bought a dolly that said it could carry up to 700lb. I used the dolly once for a load less than 300lb. And the plastic rim in the wheel cracked. I took the dolly back to Uhaul to return it and talked to Tori. I didnt realize she was the manager at the time. I told her the dolly was broken and she should look at it. She took a glance and said it looked like someone took something and busted it open. So I asked her if she was accusing me of busting it open with something. She said no that wasnt what she was saying, so I asked her what she was trying to say. So she repeated herself that it looked like someone had busted it open, but this time with attitude. I asked her if I could speak to a manager, to which she replied she is the manager. I asked her if I was going to be able to return the dolly because it broke and she told me that no she wasnt going to buy that back several times with more attitude. So I asked her for her name and she told me it was Tori. I asked her if she really wasnt going to replace the dolly or refund it and told her she didnt even take a good look at the dolly to say I busted it open and she started yelling for me to get out. So I left and called the customer service number to lodge a complaint. They took my statement that Friday and said I would receive a call from the manager above her probably the following Monday. I waited five days and did not receive any type of call from Uhaul. This is some of the worst treatment I have ever received from a business. From a huge company like Uhaul you expect alot more in how they deal with their customers.

Went today, but entrance is located in the back of the building as is rental returns. It was so crowded with rental equipment, I was lucky to find a place to park. My family has used this business before. Maybe I will go back another day.

Unbelievably bad business!!! So I special ordered a hidden trailer hitch for my TrackHawk, waited two weeks, showed up at 8:00AM Saturday morning, just to see that my hidden hitch hadn’t arrived, so the manager told them to install a normal hitch? So after spending two hours, I’m having to wait again while it’s uninstalled, luckily I found something to do in my spare time. Stay away from this place.

Tori is an amazing owner. She and the staff displays professionalism at all times. Each visit has been an wonderful experience with the great rates and clean facility. This is by far the best uhaul and storage facility in Panama City and Panama City Beach!

Makayla was very nice and friendly today. Otherwise Customer service lately is a one star. Last time they didnt check my trailer in, so i was getting calls and emails. Then they said they would check the lot and i would get an email confirmation of the return (never happened). Today i drove an hour to find a paddle lock on the trailer, and missed out on getting the item...mentioned it to tori green as i walked in the store and she reassured me that the gal in there would take care of it......but......the gal had to go ask tori how to do it, so here i wait .....

I could tell one of the torsion axles on trailer had some toe in and was prematurely wearing a tire, and that I would not make it the 700 mile trek home. I stopped around back at the mechanic shop part of the lot and asked Adam if he could help as I am traveling back to 700 miles away. He took care of me and swapped it on the spot as well as notifying the proper people that the axle needs to be serviced when the trailer returns. This is someone who takes pride in what they do and I acknowledge and appreciate your dedication Adam. Thank you

Need Better Customer Service Will Be Buying My Own Box Truck In Near Future

Cannot get a hold of anyone!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. I’ve called 5 times over a week with a hold of approx. 30 mins. each before I hung up. I contacted corporate but they weren’t able to help either.

15 people in line with one person working the counter for 45 minutes. Had to upload my drivers license 3 times. Then once we got our truck keys we were instructed to go out back where someone would tell us where our truck was. Nobody was around. We finally found the truck at the very back of the parking lot behind the building. My husband literally had to drive over the curb and through the grass to get to it. All while I guided him through the maze on the phone. By this time we are over an hour late to start our move and the people who were helping us were forced to wait on us. When returning the truck, there was a trailer dumped in front of the lane where you pull into to turn the truck over. After maneuvering around that we had to sit and wait on someone to get around to assisting us in turning the truck in. Employees literally walked past and acknowledged that we were sitting there, shook their head, and kept walking. I’ve been using U-Haul for years at different locations around the country and never experienced anything like this. I don’t know whether it’s incompetence or horrible customer service... whatever the case... I will find a different location next time!!

Pulled in to have trailer lights installed from my bumper to the trailer. Sales associates were helpful and mindful.I cannot say as much for the shop guy who WAS going to install. First he told us to pull into the shop and he would start immediately, then came into the office 45 minutes later to tell us that there were two other vehicles in front of us and it would be another hour and 45 minutes, & he needed our keys to back my truck out to start on the other two vehicles who had been waiting prior. ???? Still confused,BUT... we chose to purchase the wiring kit from Advanced Auto Parts and wired it ourselves & saved $75 in labor after all. Really? $75!!

Can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone and they had two lots full of trucks and somehow they couldn’t get me into anything smaller than a 24ft truck

I recently visied this location and was impressed. The staff are friendly and professional. The office is clean and organized. There are plenty of supplies to help with your move and not as costly as I had anticipated. No problems with the rental truck and this was the easiest part of the move. I would definitely recommend this establishment in particular.

Uhaul and the local Manager Tori Greenwood have always gone above and beyond to help my family. Very professional and courteous, and when we have asked for something they may not have ready, Ms. Greenwood has always made it happen! Highly reccomend!

The general manager, Ms. Greenwood, has excellent customer service skills and is very professional. She helped me resolve a customer care issue eventhough it wasn’t related to her store.

I rent with Uhaul because of the people at this store. They are easy to work with and always are fair and very friendly. Dropped off my truck, there were 2 people behind the counter, the woman helping another customer. The man just sat there, did not help me or even say anything to me. Waited 15 min for the woman who was busy to help me. Not how you win customers!!

Tori the manager was great to work with and she went out of her way to find us a newer Ford 26 ft truck for my wife to drive. Maxx was great as well. My husband rented a van so we could move across town. I dont know how the staff was with him but we ended up needing another day on the van rental. I called at 9am and was on hold for 40 minutes waiting to talk to someone. Once I did get a human being she was rude and completely robotic. She offered no other options or helpful solutions. Her tone of voice was what upset me the most. You can be busy and still be polite. Not only am I willing to pay more money for another day but also pay the cancelled reservation fee for the person who reserved the van after us. Ive used Uhaul many times and always have customer service problems. From here on out I will not be using Uhaul.

Have been standing in like for 48 minutes & they have only helped 3 people. 20+ people in line with ONE WORKER helping them all. This is an outrage. They act like we don’t have things to do during the day. They have to regard for a persons time I had an appointment to pick up my truck at 9 and it is now 948. SO INCONVENIENT & A WASTE OF MY TIME.GET MORE WORKERS ITS NOT HARD

They were able to get me in and out and had everything set up for me when I got there, they made it simple and convenient !!!!

I was told they had a class 5 hitch for my one tonFor a set amount. When I got there it doubled and they didnt have it in stock. Said they would have to order it. Drove all the way from chipley to Panama City just for the hitch that they didnt have. no Im not happy

Went to put a hitch on a brand new nissan rogue. When I picked it up, the wiring for the electric, with the plug was sitting inside the cargo area. When I ordered the hitch with the electric plug, I was thinking it would be mounted the the hitch, like evey one else does, so I could plug in. I was then told, it had to hang out of the hatch to plug in the trailer. When I complained, I was told to bad and no effort was made to correct it. I asked them, why didnt you call me and tell me, I was told by Torry ( the gen. manager), to bad. Needless to say nissan will never use them again. Do your self a favor and use someone else.

Horrible staff, especially Mrs. Nagy- she is rude and abrasive, but since she is the regional directors wife, no one will do anything about her and the bad attitude toward everyone she comes into contact with! I heard bad things about her from several people, but it wasnt until I met her myself that I would never return to this location. She made the experience truly terrible!

Awful place. Takes forever to get through this place even if you have a reservation. First there’s no one behind the counter to help, then there are a few people and only one wants to work. Go somewhere else if possible!!!

They do not order items even though you pay full price up front. Never hear from them about it. Check with them and they act unconcerned no one seems to know what Id going on. Edited a month for a hitch and then was told it had never been ordered.
