AKEYA SMITH whom is a case worker for BASIC forgot to send in purchase order (used for copays) after being left a voicemail a week before, then a day prior to the doctor appointment. This is NOT the first time that she has forgotten to send one in. When I called and asked for a new case worker AKEYA SMITH replied “I don’t think they’ll do that but you can try.” Then when I remind her that I left her not one, but TWO voicemails, one from a week prior, she begins telling me, “You can’t blame me for your neglagance.” The responsibility that this case worker clings to is equivalent to that of an overworked rat. And I’m extremely offended by her lack of customer service skills working in the industry she’s chosen. She’s clearly not happy with where she is at, and mediocre at her job. So make sure to request ANYONE expect AKEYA SMITH as your case worker, because she evidently doesn’t even begin to fathom the responsibility that her own job entails.
